Lil Uzi Vert Expresses His Love For JT, Says She’s Got Him “Making Bangers”

It seems as though lately, things between Lil Uzi Vert and City Girl JT are only getting more and more serious. Uzi has gone off about JT’s “WAP” on his Instagram live, taken her on shopping sprees, and even bought her a new G-Wagon — all in the name of love.

Late Thursday night, Uzi took to his Twitter to tell fans just how expensive it is to be with JT, and that no one else could handle it but him. “Y’all n***** would go broke fucking with my girl,” he writes. “She too much for y’all lil boys.” Uzi also hinted that there could be new music on the way thanks to JT, tweeting, “She got me making bangers.”

Uzi also had to get real about just how much he loved JT, saying that she’s the best feeling he’s ever felt in his life. “I love JT so much that I will do anything for her,” he says. “She is the best feeling I ever had in my life thank you thank you thank you.”

It looks like JT is corroborating how in love the duo are. She expressed her feelings around the same time Uzi was Tweeting on Thursday night, writing, “I be having so much mutha fuckin fun!!!!” JT also responded to a Twitter user who claimed she’d stolen his phone when Uzi was tweeting about her, simply writing “Okay.”

It’s always fun to see JT and Uzi’s Twitter banter, and it seems like they’ll be keeping us entertained with their antics for the foreseeable future.

Vic Mensa Beats Up Uncle Sam In His Fiery ‘Fr33dom’ Video With Zacari

Vic Mensa‘s triumphant comeback continued today with the release of his I Tape EP, the follow-up to his August V Tape release. To accompany the new EP, Vic also shared the fiery “Fr33dom” video with TDE singer Zacari. The video finds Vic Mensa once again in conflict with the authorities, as viewed through the framing device of a child’s room filled with posters of revolutionaries. In one scene, Mensa stands victorious over one of the greatest symbols of the establishment, Uncle Sam, clad in boxing trunks and gloves.

Vic’s two most recent projects have highlighted his redefined role as a rebel with a cause. Whereas prior efforts saw him position himself as a punk rock rabble-rouser along the lines of a Sid Vicious, all chaotic energy and self-destruction, he seems to have shaken off that outlook on newer tracks like “Shelter,” on which he reunited with longtime friend Chance The Rapper.

His community-focused efforts have taken the forefront of his artistic messaging, and he continues to promote them despite some setbacks — like when his nonprofit was robbed of $40,000 worth of donated sneakers on New Year’s Eve. In all, though, watching him tap into his socially conscious roots has been an encouraging sight.

I Tape is out now on Roc Nation Records. Get it here.

24kGoldn & Future Put In Work On “Company”

24kGoldn’s new album El Dorado has officially dropped in full, featuring guest appearances from DaBaby, Swae Lee, Iann Dior, and Future. While there are plenty of standout tracks to unpack throughout, it’s hard to resist the allure of a HNDRXX feature, and “Company” happens to be an early-album standout. Over a melodic and up-tempo guitar-driven instrumental, fingerpicked in the same style as Lil Baby and Gunna’s “Drip Too Hard,” 24k and Future slide through in their melodic bag.

Setting it off is 24k, who proceeds to snap in his own fashion. “You know it’s more fun when you papered out,” he raps in a singsong cadence. “I need a biddy to show me some titties / the real definition of hangin’ out.” You already know that Future is going to go in, given the tone of the instrumental, and he doesn’t disappoint. “Came out the bottom like 400 Juvie, put a switch on it and go make a movie,” he raps. “Trippin’ off ecstasy, I’m totally polluted / Bitches on bitches, they done my recruitin’.”

Check out the track now, and be sure to go stream 24kGoldn’s new project in full right here.

Ari Lennox Drops Off Steamy Photos For Her Birthday, Twitter Goes Crazy

For the past couple of days, Ari Lennox has been trending on Twitter after she posted some stunning photos in the lead up to her 30th birthday, which happens to be today.

On Thursday, the “BMO” singer posted a series of party photos where she was all dolled up in a full face of makeup and sleek hairstyle, wearing a silky bra and shorts set with some dazzling pink heart hoop earrings. Fans certainly thought that the photos were sultry, but perhaps not quite so much as the photos that Ari posted even later on Thursday night, just a few hours before she officially turned 30.

In a photo set captioned “Stella,” Ari wears a Boohoo high-waisted bikini printed with some tropical botanical features. She sits by the pool and gets into the water in the pictures, which show off her immaculate body that she clearly worked hard for.

Many Twitter users wanted to make it clear that if this was the first time people were noticing Ari’s natural beauty, they were seriously behind.

Others noted that it was strange how people seemingly have only noticed Ari’s beauty once she began wearing wigs and losing weight.

Some complained that Ari should be getting back to making music rather than becoming an IG model.

Most, however, just wanted to celebrate the artist and her amazing music. Happy 30th Ari!

Vic Mensa Inspires With His Dynamic New Project “I TAPE”

After dropping “SHELTER” with Wyclef Jean and Chance the Rapper, Vic Mensa has been steadily building momentum for this moment, as he has finally released I TAPE, a seven-track project that follows in the footsteps of last fall’s V Tape. As far as guest artists are concerned, I TAPE features contributions from R&B and Hip-Hop heavyweights such as Zacari, Jeremih, Chance the Rapper, Wyclef Jean, DIXSON, Tish, Eryn Allen Kane, and Wyatt Wadell. Sonically, it’s one of the Chicago artist‘s most gorgeously-produced projects to date, and in typical Vic fashion, there is plenty of food for thought for listeners to chew on.

Throughout the seven-track project, Vic Mensa blends brutally honest introspection with compelling inspirational messages, making I TAPE a rewarding listen for both close followers of the Chicago artist’s journey and those who may be feeling hopeless due to the pressing social issues of today. From corrupt police, which Vic energetically refers to as “Hoelice,” to being trapped in the criminal justice system, the Roc Nation artist touches base on a lot of issues affecting Black communities in his city and beyond. “MOOSA” is one of I TAPE‘s standout cuts, and its outro — which boasts the powerful lyrics “Keep on existing, keep on resisting/Keep on fighting” — best captures the hopefulness that’s so present on Vic’s impressive new project.

Check out Vic Mensa’s I TAPE below.

Lil Yachty Might Be Trying To Scam 6ix9ine

People have been making fun of Atlanta rapper Lil Yachty on TikTok for a video of him flying coach recently. He responded by saying that he can afford to fly private, which he’s done dozens of times, but why would he spend the money if he doesn’t have to. Perhaps he’s going to try and fund his next private flight by using another rapper’s credit card, warning Tekashi 6ix9ine that he’s made a mental note of the Brooklyn-based star’s credit card number.

6ix9ine hasn’t been the most active in recent weeks but, on Thursday night, the rapper posted a picture flexing on his followers, spoiling his girlfriend Jade with a bouquet of gorgeous flowers, several Chanel bags, and more. He posed in front of his two-tone Lamborghini, which he says he owns. Sharing the pictures as a gallery, 6ix9ine included a copy of his receipt, showing that he spent over $50,000 on his girlfriend at the designer store. However, he kept the last four digits of his American Express credit card in plain view, setting himself up to be scammed. Lil Yachty warned him that he might be the one to swipe his info.

“He A real one for giving us those last 4 to his Amex card,” joked the Quality Control-signed rapper.

Recently, The Breakfast Club addressed rumors that they allegedly paid 6ix9ine over $500,000 for one of his interviews. Charlamagne Tha God explained that they’ve never paid an artist for an interview.

Lil Yachty went on the record this week to reveal that he pays $52,000 in monthly bills, which might explain why he took note of 6ix9ine’s credit card information. Read more about that here.

Kodak Black Squads Up For New Posse Cut “Righteous Reapers”

Kodak Black is back, and is currently sitting on a vault of unreleased material that’s approximately 167-songs deep. While it’s uncertain as to when he’ll set out to deliver his proper studio follow-up to 2018’s Dying To Live, Kodak has come through with a new posse cut, enlisting his squad for “Righteous Reapers.” Joining him on the guitar-driven track are Sykobob, WizDaWizard, and Wam SpinThaBin, all of whom contribute to the track’s menacing atmosphere.

Though still a young man, Kodak’s experience both in the studio and beyond give him the presence of a veteran, noticeable once he slides in to start rapping. “I’m militant, lil n***a playin with my talk I get him spent,” he spits, firing off a rapid-fire flow. “I ain’t ever duck, ain’t scared of nothin, but I’m bulletproof like 50 Cent.” Fans of the Florida hip-hop scene would be wise to check this one out, as “Righteous Reapers” is a refreshing mix of raw street lyricism and charisma; it would be interesting to see how these four might fare in a mixtape setting, as this new posse cut is certainly a promising start.
