T.I. And Tiny Challenge Their Sexual Assault Accusers To ‘Reveal Themselves Publicly’

T.I. and Tiny Harris, who were recently accused of sexual assault by a lawyer seeking criminal charges on behalf of a group of women who say the couple drugged them on separate occasions, fired back in a statement shared with Billboard after a new group of women made accusations via claims made in a statement to Page Six.

The three women joined the “dozens” of women currently employing Tyrone A. Blackburn as he urges authorities in multiple jurisdictions to pursue criminal charges against the couple. One of the women recounted a 2010 incident in Miami in which she says she was forced to swallow a pill, taken to a hotel in South Beach and forced to engage in sex with the couple, despite being unable to consent. The other two describe similar accounts of being drugged, with one claiming she was “sex trafficked in Nevada, California, and Florida.”

T.I. and Tiny previously denied the accusations, calling them a “shakedown” by Blackburn and blaming the slew of new allegations on one initial accuser, Sabrina Peterson, who they say they “have had difficulty with” for “well over a decade.” In response to the new spate of accusations, they doubled down, telling Billboard: “The Harrises are still waiting for the accusers to reveal themselves publicly. By continuing to hide behind anonymous allegations, the unnamed accusers effectively render themselves not credible and unworthy of belief. We say: Let the light shine on their identities so we can go about disproving these scurrilous accusations.”

South Park & Adidas Made The Perfect Campus 80s Sneaker Collab For 4/20

Sneaker culture and weed culture rarely intersect, but the union can result in some pretty dope products — remember Curren$y’s “Jet Life”-themed Reebok Question or his smoker-friendly Club C sneaker collab? Highlights in the history of kush & kicks for sure, but now it’s looking like adidas is turning to South Park to take the crown for 2021.

Anyone that got a chance to watch the “Pandemic Special” episode of South Park, currently streaming on HBO Max, knows for certain that we can expect to see Cartman and the gang for the long run — what’s 23 seasons on air anyway! Diehard fans are well aware of the character Towelie, an animated towel used as an anthropomorphic analogy that doesn’t need to be described for seasoned smokers. The Campus 80s silhouette used for this collab is designed to look exactly like the character, complete with a lavender-colored french terry upper and eye motifs that change under UV light and turn red to signal…well, y’all know!

The rest of shoe takes on a clean finish overall, pairing the lavender detailing with a crisp white midsole, matching Three Stripes on the side panels as per usual and a white leather heel counter complimented further with adidas’ signature Trefoil logo in lavender. The shoes look cozy AF based off first glance, and the overall simplicity makes it one of those kicks you can rock with majority of your wardrobe if you’re not planning on keeping these on ice as a collector. All and all, we’re sure you’ll be the flyest in the cypher come 4/20 if you decide to add these to your rotation.

No official release date set for these, but word on the block is that they’re most likely dropping on 4/20/21. Check out some more pics of the South Park x adidas Campus 80s “Towelie” kicks releasing for 4/20 below:

YNW Melly’s Co-Defendant Allegedly Violates Release Conditions

Nearly one year ago, YNW Melly’s co-defendant YNW Bortlen was granted his pre-trial release in the double murder case involving two members of the YNW collective. The rapper, whose real name is Cortlen Henry, has been dropping new music since his release, garnering a slight buzz for himself but it looks like that all could be taken away from him again because, according to a new report by Complex, authorities are seeking to arrest Henry for allegedly violating the terms of his release.

A pre-trial specialist has reportedly told the publication that YNW Bortlen has “not properly conducted himself” in recent weeks, allegedly being tracked through his ankle monitor to a couple of different strip clubs, despite getting permission to travel for work. Bortlen was reportedly given permission to leave his house for work purposes on March 27, but he was linked to a King of Diamonds nightclub as well as a personal residence. The following day, he was granted another work-related pass to leave his house and was tracked to Playhouse Gentlemen’s Club and a G5ive Gentlemen’s Club.

A spokesperson for the Broward County Courthouse has reportedly confirmed that Bortlen’s pre-trial release was revoked on Monday. A judge was reportedly called for the rapper’s arrest.

YNW Bortlen most recently updated his social media accounts an hour ago, so it’s likely that he has not been arrested yet. We will keep you updated as new information is released.

Kodak Black Addresses Florida Shooting: “Leave Me Alone”

Kodak Black was the reported target of a recent shooting in Tallahassee, Florida, which resulted in the rapper’s security guard being rushed to the hospital for gunshot wounds in his leg. Kodak was safely escorted away from the McDonald’s restaurant where shots were fired on Monday morning. The rapper was reportedly returning from a festival performance nearby, being followed to the restaurant and ambushed when he arrived.

Yak recently told Pooh Shiesty that he could “relate” to a caption he shared about all of his opps getting shot at. He later popped up on Instagram Live on Tuesday to speak even more about the shooting, downplaying it and proving that he’s doing just fine.

“A b*tch ain’t even gone play with me,” said the 23-year-old artist. “When I saw the [news reports] I was like, what the f*ck? This ain’t no sh*t like– Y’all trying to make it like, one of these little industry b*tches. That sh*t was just some little bullsh*t on some lame little sh*t that transpired on some lame sh*t, homie. If you a real stepper out here, you gone know, I’m in this life. Baby blue sh*t. That’s Yak right there.”

He went on to further dispel that the shooting was fueled by rap beef, claiming that his mother checked in with him on Tuesday. “Leave me alone, man,” he said about the situation. “I ain’t f*cking with nobody. Yak been zoolin’.”

Cardi B Says She’s ‘Going Away For A Very Long Time’ To Finish Her Album

When Cardi B released her No. 1 single “Up” in February, fans were convinced it meant her sophomore album was right around the corner. However, Cardi is still a ways away from dropping the LP as she’s got a lot on her plate, including a new haircare line. That’s why she says she’s planning on taking a break in order to focus all of her energy on putting the finishing touches on her anticipated album.

In an interview with XXL for their Spring 2021 cover, Cardi talked fame, the “WAP” controversy, and what’s in store for her next album. The rapper revealed that she put her sophomore album on hold during the pandemic because she was having difficulty staying creative, but she plans on “going away for a very long time” in order to hunker down and finish the LP:

“I feel like at this point, it’s like a timeline that I created. Because last year, I was like, I gotta put out my album this year. But, then I just stopped working on my album out of nowhere because I feel like the whole COVID thing discouraged me to put out my album. Because I want to put out an album, and I want to tour. […] I got like, a week of making sure I handle all my business, making sure everything is good, go to meetings. And then, I’m going away for a very long time to finish my album.”

Elsewhere in the conversation, Cardi said that it disappointing her when people assume she talks politics only for clout. The rapper reminded haters that she’s been interested in politics for as long as she can remember, and she now has a responsibility to use her voice. “But when it comes to things that’s going on in the environment and government, I like to say what’s on my mind,” she said. “And, sometimes I hate it because I’m not saying it to get attention. I always feel like if God gave you a voice, use it. And people who say that I’m doing it for attention, it’s like, attention my ass. I really like to get to the bottom of sh*t. I don’t need attention.”

Cardi B is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Cardi B’s ‘Invasion Of Privacy’ Is Now The First Female Rap LP To Spend Three Years On Billboard 200

Bronx-bred hip-hop queen Cardi B had one of the most successful debut album rollouts back in 2018 with her multiplatinum-selling premiere project, Invasion Of Privacy. Her trajectory in the rap game has been ascending amazingly since, and now she can add another notch to her belt now that the album is officially one of the longest-charting albums in Billboard history by a female rapper.

Right on time for Invasion Of Privacy‘s three-year anniversary today (April 6), official chart reports state that the album has spent a whopping three years on the Billboard 200 after placing at #97 on the most recent tally. That’s a really dope feat for an album to still have “top 100” level domination on a music chart years after its initial release. Of course, that’s due to the success of both the album and singles alike, including Cardi’s big win at the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards back in 2019 when Invasion Of Privacy won for “Best Rap Album” (seen above).

As far as the singles, pretty much every one of them did some pretty impressive numbers on the Hot 100. Lead single “Bodak Yellow” literally dominated 2017 as a whole, spending weeks in the top spot and finding itself on multiple end-of-year lists. “Bartier Cardi” was a top 20 hit as well, in addition to “Be Careful” plus the Bad Bunny & J Balvin-assisted chart-topper “I Like It.” Even her Kehlani collaboration “Ring” faired well by peaking at #28. Overall, however you feel about Cardi B in terms of her rap skills, there’s no denying the lady is a hitmaker on all levels. Barbz, your girl is still a rap queen as well — don’t be too mad!

Congrats, Cardi! Let us know what your favorite track is off her record-breaking debut album, Invasion Of Privacy, down below in the comments. Here’s one of ours:
