Coi Leray is completely unafraid to show who she really is online, showing skin and goofing off to her over 2.5 million Instagram followers. Coi first began to generate buzz in 2017 when she released her singles “G.A.N” and “Pac Girl,” which went viral online. Having Benzino as a father certainly didn’t hinder her success either, releasing her debut album Everythingcoz in 2018. Trippie Redd appeared on her 2019 project EC2, a rapper who Coi gained notoriety for dating at the time. 

Most recently, Coi has done several other collaborations that have skyrocketed her fame, including songs with Gunna, Fetty Wap, Lil Durk, and Maliibu Miitch. Over the past few weeks, an unreleased track with Coi and Pooh Shiesty has gone viral on video-sharing app TikTok in a challenge where girls dance to Coi’s lyrics, “He call me big prrd / Come make this p***y purr.” The sound has more than 200,000 videos made to it.

Perhaps the most devilish entity in the entire sneaker world is the Nike SNKRS App. Yes, that’s right, the App that constantly gives you Ls is probably the worst thing to happen to the world of shoes in a very long time. Every single Saturday, this app becomes a trending topic as sneakerheads are unable to cop the sneakers that they truly wanted. Overall, it’s a pretty big travesty and it doesn’t seem like any of this is going to change anytime soon.

Today, the sneaker world was looking to cop the brand new Air Jordan 1 “University Blue” and, of course, it was extremely difficult to cop. Despite not even being that limited, numerous fans were unable to purchase them, and it led to a lot of frustration online.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian officially called it quits on their relationship a few weeks ago after rumors swirled for months that the couple was heading towards Splitsville. Previously one of the most recognizable couples in Hollywood, their union was not without its own share of scandals, one of the most memorable being Kanye’s claim that Drake had slept with Kim. While Drake never confirmed or denied this was true, his silence alone was enough to convince the masses. In his new track “Wants and Needs” from his Scary Hours 2 EP, the 34-year-old Toronto native seemingly threw shade at Kanye and his upcoming divorce.

In a line that seems to be referencing Kanye, he states, “Yeah, I probably should go link with Yeezy, I need me some Jesus / But soon as I started confessin’ my sins, he wouldn’t believe us.” As you might remember, Ye and Drizzy have been butting heads since 2018, and it appears the self-proclaimed 6 God has taken the beef a step further in the new cryptic bars.

While he doesn’t name-drop Kim K in the song, fans instantly speculated the line was in reference to his rumored ‘affair’ with the reality TV star across social media. One fan joked that following their divorce announcement, “Drake probably texting Kim kardashian right now like “hey u ok?”

This bar comes after fans speculated he referenced his relationship with Kardashian in the past, namely on his 2018 track “In My Feelings” where he repeatedly asks “Kiki, do you love me?” referring to the reality mogul as her Kiki nickname. 

Kanye fired back with an Instagram video at the time. He said to Drake: “The fact that there’s people making rumors or thinking you f**ked my wife and you’re not saying nothing and you’re carrying it like that, that don’t sit well with my spirit.”

Devin Booker was to take part in the All-Star Game on Sunday although recently, he suffered a knee injury that will keep him out of the game. With Booker injured, the NBA needed to find someone to replace him, and they needed to get someone from the Western Conference. Booker was on Team Durant, and now, his spot will be filled by 14-year NBA veteran Mike Conley of the Utah Jazz.

What makes this inclusion so special is the fact that Conley has never been to the All-Star Game before. He is the oldest player to go to the All-Star Game for the very first time, and he has already been getting some congratulatory messages from his teammates, including Donovan Mitchell, who is also on Team Durant.

Conley has been having himself a solid season in Utah as the Jazz continue to be one of the best teams in the league. With an average of 16.1 points and 5.7 assists per game, Conley has cemented himself as one of the more effective point guards out there and his place in the All-Star Game is most certainly deserved.

With three Utah Jazz players in the All-Star Game, it’s clear that the team is well-represented, even if they do get disrespected at times.

22-year-old poet Amanda Gorman gained widespread recognition earlier this year when she spoke at President Joe Biden’s Inauguration. She was the youngest inaugural poet in American history, and is an extremely accomplished Harvard graduate who primarily focuses on issues of feminism, race, oppression, and the African diaspora. On Friday, however, her safety was put at risk when a security guard followed her on her walk home, doubting that she lived in her own building. 

She shared the story on Twitter, writing, “He demanded if I lived there because ‘you look suspicious.’ I showed my keys & buzzed myself into my building. He left, no apology. This is the reality of black girls: One day you’re called an icon, the next day, a threat.” 

In another Tweet, Gorman pens, “In a sense, he was right. I AM A THREAT: a threat to injustice, to inequality, to ignorance. Anyone who speaks the truth and walks with hope is an obvious and fatal danger to the powers that be.” 

In Amanda Gorman’s inaugural poem “The Hill We Climb,” which she wrote following the attacks on the US Capitol on January 6th, she discusses themes of race and racial justice in America. The battle for equality is far from over, but Amanda seems to be a voice of hope among the darkness. She writes, “For there is always light, if only we’re brave enough to see it. If only we’re brave enough to be it.”

Fans are waiting for the next project from King Push to arrive. It’s been roughly three years since he released DAYTONA and on a musical front, he’s been relatively low-key. A new album has been in the works but Push is basking in the luxury of time that only an artist of his caliber can afford these days. We know what Push is capable of doing on wax so, the wait will ultimately be worth it.

We’ve received few updates over the years about Push’s next move but he did previously hint that his next project would include production from both Kanye West and Pharrell Williams. Steven Victor recently hopped on IG Live with Complex Music where he offered some promising updates on Push’s follow-up to DAYTONA. For one, he said that Push’s album is “coming along fantastic” before confirming that the project would consist of production entirely handled by Kanye West and Pharrell Williams.

We’re excited to hear what Pusha T has in store, especially since just a month ago, Upscale Vandal said that Push was making “the best music of his life.” Given that Pharrell and Kanye West are both on board for this project, it’s not hard to believe that would be the case.

Elsewhere during Steven Victor’s IG live, he also discussed Pop Smoke, as well as his posthumous appearance in Boogie. “Yeah, Pop was really good. Part of the reason why he’s in the movie [Boogie] is because I reached out to Ralph and Eddie and told them how good of a basketball player he was and that he should have a role in the movie,” he said.

In terms of new music, he didn’t reveal too much but he did indicate that Rico Beats seems to be in possession of many tracks from Pop’s vault.

Tiger Woods is one of the greatest golfers to ever grace the sport and in April, Woods was set to return to Augusta where he would compete in The Masters. Unfortunately, Woods will be out of the sport for a while as he suffered some devastating injuries during a car crash in Los Angeles just a couple of weeks ago. These injuries included some compound fractures of his tibia and fibula, as well as a shattered ankle. All of these injuries required intensive surgery and now, Woods is recovering.

According to a report from the BBC, Woods was actually found unconscious by a nearby resident close to the crash. The person noted that when they approached the vehicle, they saw Woods with blood around his chin which. Eventually, the person tried to communicate with Tiger but he wasn’t communicating back. That’s when authorities were called, and Tiger eventually regained consciousness.

Since the accident, the police were able to obtain a warrant for the black box in the vehicle, which will give authorities information about what speeds Woods was going in the car. The police have been adamant that Woods was not under the influence in the crash and that the whole thing was simply an unfortunate accident.

Earlier in the week, Soulja Boy’s longtime girlfriend Nia Riley revealed in a preview of an upcoming interview with blogger Tasha K that her rapper boyfriend had caused her to miscarriage after physically assaulting her while she was pregnant. She disclosed more horrific details about their testy relationship in the full interview that has now been made public. Namely, the Love & Hip Hop star is claiming that the rapper held a gun to her head, among other scary things she endured during the course of their six-year relationship. 

During the course of the hour-plus-long conversation with Tasha, the reality TV star revealed terrifying details she was forced to endure during the course of their relationship, including posting her nudes online, berating and beating on her for not having sex. She also went into detail about how she did not like the way fans mocked the abuse they witnessed when the couple appeared together on Marriage Bootcamp.

Explaining the incident where the rapper held a gun to her head, she explained, “I wanted to leave. I was trying to leave.” She continued,  “I had pepper sprayed him one day, really bad. He tried to take a shower. And it f***ed him up really bad. I want to say it was the same day. He had charged at me. So I pepper sprayed him. I had it under my pillow.”

 She continued, “His barber came after our whole little incident. So I said, ‘I know this n****’s haircuts take like an hour.’ I’m trying make sure he couldn’t see me from certain mirrors. And I packed my bag. It’s a crazy situation to try to get out of. So I was just sitting there, watching, watching, watching. He hadn’t moved. He didn’t get up for nothing. I got up, got my bag. I walked down stairs. And I felt him press it [the gun] against the back of my head. And I just sat down. I sat on the steps for a couple of hours. He was sitting behind me.”

“With the gun?” Tasha K asked, to which Riley replied, “Yeah. And he had friends there that would sit there and watch him. Nobody ever said anything. It was just crazy. It was something that was private and just us, if we were home. But if his friends were there, he didn’t care.”

Tasha continued, “So you mean to tell me there were grown men who were there and them n****s didn’t do s**t?”

“They didn’t do anything,” Riley said in response. “No one did anything. I won’t say they all enable each other but that’s how it feels.”

This is not the only time Soulja Boy has been accused of acting violently towards women. He is currently facing a lawsuit from a woman alleging he sexually assaulted her, among other violent actions.
