Durant Calls Shannon Sharpe A “Drunk Uncle” Over Fake Quote About LeBron

The dust recently settled on his controversy with Michael Rapaport and now Kevin Durant has a brewing beef with Shannon Sharpe. The Brooklyn Nets forward wasn’t having it earlier today (April 13) after Sharpe attempted to quote the basketball star while on Undisputed. In the segment, Sharpe quoted Durant as saying, “If LeBron James is the GOAT, I beat the GOAT twice and hit the shots in his building. What does that make me?”

It’s a boastful comment, to say the least, but the problem is, Durant claims he never said it. A basketball fan account on Twitter circulated a meme that attributes Durant to the quote, but it has been labeled as fake. Durant reshared a clip of Sharpe on Undisputed and added, “Y’all drunk uncle out here lying again. When did I say this @ShannonSharpe???????????????????????????”

Shannon went on tv responding to this quote like I actually said this,” Durant added. “Gullible fans will believe it, or say ‘you was thinking this anyway’ it’s comedy at this point.” The sports icon added that Sharpe refused to address the controversy online, but Sharpe told him that they could speak privately.

“KD, IF* you wanna talk to me. I’m not hard to find, but I’m not going bck and forth on social media,” tweeted Sharpe. “Whatever our differences are. They can be handled out of the eye of social media.” That wasn’t an acceptable response for Durant. “We can talk in front of everybody, it ain’t that serious Shannon, u go on tv in front of everybody pushing fake [sh*t] but now u wanna talk in private??? Why u lying on tv Shannon???”

In the end, it looks as if Sharpe blocked Durant. In response, the Nets baller wrote, “But I’m sensitive.” Check out some highlights below.

Key Glock Cozies Up With His Yellow Lamborghini Truck In His Video For ‘Move Around’

Last month, Key Glock returned with some help from Young Dolph for his third project in a little over twelve months. The new effort was the Memphis rappers’ Dum And Dummer 2, the sequel to the pair’s 2019 joint album. Just a little over two weeks after the project’s release, Key Glock has released a laidback video for “Move Around,” one of five new solo tracks from Glock. Here, the rapper posts up by his Lamborghini truck to deliver cold lyrics about the fame and wealth he’s accumulating over his career.

While the arrival of Dum And Dummer 2 was big one for fans of both rappers, it came with some unfortunate news about the former. “I hope y’all enjoying the new mixtape, it’s my last project putting out,” Dolph revealed in an Instagram post. “I wasn’t gonna tell y’all but i thought y’all should know im done with music. ENJOY.” Last summer he publicly contemplated retirement, but he changed his mind, returning with his last solo album, Rich Slave. The duo has also delivered music videos for “Aspen,” Dummest And The Dummest,” “Penguins,” and more.

Charlamagne Tha God Addresses People Who Are Angry Over Quando Rondo Interview

The recent Quando Rondo interview conducted by Angela Yee of The Breakfast Club is causing controversy. For the first time, Quando spoke openly about the shooting death of King Von last November, calling the event an “out of body experience.” As you remember, Quando and his crew allegedly got into an altercation with Von and his entourage, resulting in shots being fired. Von was murdered in the incident and later, Quando’s friend, 22-year-old Timothy Leeks, was arrested for the crime.

Leeks has reportedly been released on bail and Quando has continued to vocalize his support of his friend. While discussing her interview with the rapper with her The Breakfast Club co-hosts, Yee revealed they were in New Orleans for their sit-down. DJ envy claimed that he received “a bunch of texts” from people asking if he was “good in Chicago” after Yee’s interview went live. “I was like,’ What are you talking about?” said Envy.

Charlamagne chimed in, “What the hell does that mean?” Envy explained that there were possibly some people in Chicago who would be upset because Yee spoke with Rondo about Von. “You don’t want to play with them young boys,” added Envy.

“Yeah, but you can’t get mad at the reporter or a journalist or a personality because they did an interview,” replied Charlamagne. Envy warned everyone to just be careful. Yee added that after her interview with Quando Rondo, she doesn’t “believe he had any ill intentions at all.” Watch the clip below.

Coi Leray Changes Her Tune About Benzino: “I Love My Dad”

After a tense exchange on social media over a month ago, Coi Leray and her father, Benzino, may be in a better place. The “No More Parties” singer is getting her shine following the success of her Lil Durk-assisted remix to her single, and it has caused Leray to reflect on how she wants to handle success. The rapper-singer has made it clear that she isn’t looking to have drama with anyone, but in early March, Leray and Benzino traded verbal shots at one another.

At the time, it was clear that Coi Leray and her father were at odds, but recent tweets suggest that things may be on track to mending old wounds. “I love my dad [red heart emoji] forever and always. [praying hands emoji],” Leray wrote.

“I do this for my family, they don’t understand me, no n*ggas around me , they don’t understand me,” she added in a separate tweet. “I do this for my crew they don’t understand I do this sh*t for you they don’t understand.” This is an obvious nod to Lil Durk’s 2013 track, “Don’t Understand Me.”

Previously, Coi stated that she was “embarrassed” to be Benzino’s daughter and he retorted that their argument was the most “disrespectful” encounter he’s experienced. Check out her tweets below.

Lil Nas X’s Claim That ‘Montero’ Will Be Removed From Streamers Has Been Confirmed By His Label

On Tuesday, Lil Nas X’s had some news: His No. 1 single “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” will be removed from streaming services. Why? He did not say. Hours later, his label, Columbia Records, confirmed the news over Twitter.

“Thanks for all your comments regarding @LilNasX ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name),’” the company wrote. “It’s unfortunately out of our control but we are doing everything possible to keep the song up on streaming services. We will keep you up to date as we hear more. Thank you for understanding.”

It was such a shock that some people assumed it was all a big joke. But Lil Nas revealed that it was all too serious.

“Not even joking,” he wrote on Twitter. “Everybody stream call me by your name hard today because it may no longer be available tomorrow and there’s nothing i can really do about it. thanks for all the support tho! (white heart emoji).” He even told them to “screen record the audio/video on YouTube so you will have the song in your gallery worst case scenario.”

But there is some hope: One managed to get the controversial song to play on a Game Boy Advance, which even surprised the singer himself.

Chris Brown Sued After Cleaning Lady Was Allegedly Attacked By Dog: Report

Legal trouble is creeping Chris Brown’s way after an employee claims she was injured. Brown has been laying low these days as he works on his projects and enjoys life as a father of two, but it’s being reported that he’s been sued by his cleaning lady. A woman named Patricia Avila is reportedly suing the singer over an incident that happened to her sister involving Brown’s dogs. Avila says that both she and her sister were hired to clean Brown’s home in Tarzana, Calif. According to TMZ, they worked twice a week at a rate of $600 per day.

Avila claims that they knew that Brown had dogs but whenever they were at the property, the animals were kept away. One of the pups, a large Caucasian Shepherd Ovcharka, reportedly gained access to the backyard and allegedly attacked Avila’s sister as she was emptying a vacuum.

Avila alleges that the dog attacked her sister, “ripping 3 to 4 inches of skin off her arm” as well as biting at her face and leg. Brown is said to have been at the scene and was the person to call for help. “Avila says she thought her sister was going to die from the blood loss,” reports the outlet. The woman was treated at a hospital and reportedly had to undergo surgery.

This is where things get interesting; Avila, who wasn’t injured during the alleged incident, is suing Brown because she claims the ordeal has caused her to experience “PTSD, severe anxiety, and panic attacks.” It’s unclear what damages she’s seeking and if her sister will seek legal action.

Asian Doll Drops Seductive New Song “Twice”

Since going independent, Asian Doll has showcased her versatility on numerous occasions but it seems that ever since the passing of her ex-boyfriend King Von, she’s been diving deeper into the sounds of drill. “Nunnadet Shit” was what many would consider her foray into the Chicago subgenre, though it wasn’t necessarily well-received.

This week, the rapper returned with another new single with a unique take on Brooklyn’s variation of a drill. On her new single “Twice,” Asian Doll simultaneously brings out a seductive side through auto-tuned tweaked melodies over a high-octane drill production. This might be the most accurate glimpse at Asian Doll’s pop sensibilities, especially after proving that she can hold her own on the microphone.

Check the latest from Asian Doll below and sound off in the comments.

Bobby Brown Talks Alcoholism & Addresses Son’s Drug Overdose On “Red Table Talk”

He’s spent most of his life in the spotlight and every twist and turn has been carefully documented.  Bobby Brown burst onto the music scene as a New Edition singer before branching off into a successful solo career. However, the rises and falls of his personal life would begin to affect his professional aspirations. There were reports about arrests and drug abuse allegations, and now, Brown is sitting with the ladies at Red Table Talk to detail his experiences.

In a preview of Wednesday’s (April 14) episode, Brown spoke candidly about how alcoholism almost ruined his life. “Alcohol, I started losing bodily function,” he said. “My body started shutting down because I was drinking that much… My body just was giving out on me. Even with alcohol, I got to the point where I needed it.”

“I needed it to wake up. I needed it to stop the shakes, to function on a day-to-day basis. For me, it wasn’t recreational,” Brown continued. Additionally, Brown addressed the recent tragic loss of his 28-year-old son, Bobby Brown Jr. “Kids today, they’re trying different things,” he said of his son’s drug overdose. “They’re trying to get as high as they can possibly get. That’s a real problem because they don’t know what these drugs are being mixed with these days.”

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office ruled Brown Jr.’s death as accidental and found “alcohol, cocaine and fentanyl” in his system. Bobby Brown added that people who are creating these synthetic drugs or lacing other drugs are “murderers.” Check out the clips of Brown’s upcoming Red Table Talk episode below.

Taylor Gang’s Fedd The God Drops “Speed Racer”

The Taylor Gang movement is still moving strong, even through a pandemic. Up until 2020, it felt like each member of the crew was either steadily in the lab or on the road but obviously with the current circumstances, that hasn’t been possible in the last year. However, they are still pumping out new music frequently with Fedd The God being the latest to drop. On Friday, the rapper returned with his latest body of work, Speed Racer. The nine-song effort is largely handled on his own with the exception of “Yea Yup” ft. Wiz Khalifa and “Friday” ft. the late Jimmy Wopo.

Serving as his first official body of work since 2019’s Northside Shit, fans will certainly appreciate Fedd The God’s new project. Check it out below.
