Jeffrey Epstein Threatened To Feed Rape Victim To Alligators: Lawsuit

The case of Jeffrey Epstein’s nefarious acts alongside Ghislaine Maxwell has continued to unravel in the public eye, even after the convicted sex offender’s conspicuous death. Maxwell remains inside of prison as more accusations emerge surrounding the heinous acts that she and Epstein committed to their alleged victims. A new lawsuit filed against Epstein’s estate accuses him and Maxwell of raping a woman before threatening to throw her into a body of water filled with alligators that would “devour” her.”

In a new piece published in the Miami Herald, a real estate broker identified as “Jane Doe” said that Maxwell and Epstein repeatedly raped her at the age of 26 in front of her eight-year-old son at a hotel. She also claims that they trafficked her to have sex with multiple men including a judge who allegedly threatened to have her arrested on prostitution charges if she reported the assaults to authorities.

The lawsuit she filed details her initial introductions to Epstein and Maxwell who attended an event that her employer was hosting. The lawsuit claims that Epstein was interested in having her work for him. Jane Doe claims that she went to the Epstein mansion to cut his hair in 2008 when Epstein was allegedly nude upon her arrival.

She claims that Epstein and Maxwell allegedly “brutally raped” before offering her $200. She said that Epstein and Maxwell forced her to drive with them in her car before he stopped the vehicle where he allegedly “ushered the plaintiff” to some sort of lake that had alligators and told her in detail that she’d be “devoured” by the animals if she ever speaks out.

Derek Chauvin Told Witness George Floyd Was “Probably On Something”

Today marks day 3 of Derek Chauvin’s murder trial for the death of George Floyd. Over the past two days, bystanders and witnesses took the stand including a young child and an 18-year-old girl, as well as an MMA fighter and a firefighter who both attempted to intervene as Chauvin’s knee pushed into Floyd’s neck.

61-year-old Charles McMillian was an onlooker at the time of Floyd’s death and was heard trying to tell him to comply with police orders, saying, “You can’t win.” McMillian’s also on the side telling the cops that they need to take their knee off of Floyd’s neck.

Moments after the death of George Floyd, McMillian was spotted on CCTV camera and police bodycam speaking to Chauvin as he was getting into his squad car. The bodycam footage was shown in court, revealing that McMillian did approach Chauvin after Floyd’s death to tell him that he didn’t respect what he did.

“That’s one person’s opinion,” Chauvin said as he got into his squad car. “We had to control this guy because he’s a sizable guy. It looks like he’s probably on something.”

The most powerful moment during McMillian’s testimony arrived as he broke down into tears on the stand watching the playback of the gruesome video. “I feel helpless. I don’t have a Momma either. I understand him. My mom died June 25th,” McMillian said as he recalled Floyd’s plea for his mom.

Ice Cube Files Lawsuit Against Robinhood For Unauthorized Use Of His Image

Ice Cube is among the many that aren’t feeling the free-trading app Robinhood, though his reason might be a bit different. According to TMZ, the legendary West Coast rapper filed a lawsuit against Robinhood who he accuses of using his image without authorization. The rapper claims that Robinhood used his image in an ad that was included in an advertisement in the Robinhood Snacks newsletter this past month and didn’t contact him to use the image.

Cube said that the company used an image of him from a separate project that he was working on and put it in Robinhood Snacks, along with a blurb about stock corrections. The advertisement also played off of Ice Cube’s “Check Yourself” lyrics, reading, “Correct yourself before your wreck yourself.”

The rapper said using his image and likeness created a false perception that he was associated with his brand and endorsed it. He said that nothing could be further from the truth. In the lawsuit, it says that the financial service company is the “antithesis of everything that Ice Cube stands for.” Additionally, the service is described as “horrible.”

In the legal documents, Cube suggested that Robinhood only tried to drag him into their newsletter as payback for his business partner Jeff Kwatinetz harsh criticism for them that he’s expressed both publicly and in the lawsuit.

No word on how much Ice Cube is seeking.

Wale Pulled Off The Ultimate Balancing Act On “The Glass Egg”

Six years ago today, on March 31, 2015, Wale released his highly-anticipated fourth studio album The Album About Nothing. Inspired by his fan-favorite mixtape The Mixtape About Nothingthe MMG artist returned to his Seinfeld-inspired mixtape seven years later with a proper full-length studio album. Rather than sampling Seinfeld episodes, Wale enlisted Jerry Seinfeld himself to narrate the album, and in addition to debuting atop the Billboard 200, the album boasted hits like “The Matrimony” with Usher and the Jeremih-assisted “The Body.”

One of the album’s most slept-on gems, however, is its eleventh track, “The Glass Egg.” For nearly five minutes straight, Wale tackles the stress and emotional turmoil that comes from balancing all of one’s conflicting interests, especially as a platinum-selling rapper. Comparing both life and his music career to a glass egg, Wale waxes lyrical about his struggles with the seemingly impossible balancing act, warning listeners that “the line is this thin.”

Pleasing everyone is a feat that most people say is impossible, but “The Glass Egg” exemplifies how Wale was able to get as close to it as possible with the release of The Album About Nothing. The chart-topping album treated listeners with a collection of records that showcased what fans admire most about the DMV emcee, and to this day, it remains a shining spot in his extensive discography.

Six years following the release of Wale’s fourth studio album, what is your favorite song off of The Album About Nothing?

Quotable Lyrics

Mmm, the bond was thick, now just the plot is
And isn’t it ironic, getting a name can make you anonymous
My newest of hobbies, collecting calls from the lock-ups

DaBaby Was Intrigued By A Group Of Students’ ‘Imaginary Stories’ About Him

After exploding into the public consciousness with his rapid-fire flow and tongue-in-cheek sense of humor two years ago, DaBaby remains an object of fascination with fans of all ages even despite his somewhat less than kid-friendly subject matter. A recent meme currently circulating the weirder corners of social media turned the North Carolina rapper’s head into an automobile (apparently in response to a lyric from his song “Suge”), while a teacher’s free-writing assignment for her class turned up no fewer than four short stories featuring the rapper — in Spanish, no less.

When the teacher remarked on the coincidence on Twitter, her comment caught the rapper’s eye, prompting him to ask her, “Send them to me.” She did so via a thread of replies showing the stories in the students’ own handwriting on notebook paper, including one with an illustration of the rapper apparently getting out of jail along with one of the astronauts from the similarly-ubiquitous mobile game Among Us. In one of the writings, the student even makes reference to the “DaBaby Convertible” meme.

The stories are weird and nonsensical in the way kids’ stories usually are. One prominently features a Kanye West action revenge movie-style plotline, which has been a source of confusion and amusement for commenters. You can see the full thread below along with some… iffy translations — and, just for fun, one of the best DaBaby Convertible videos out.

DJ Khaled Reveals The Secret To His “Glow”: “God & Fenty Skin”

DJ Khaled has been deep in album mode over the past few weeks. Practically every day comes with a fresh new update from the We The Best artist regarding the huge collaborations destined for his highly anticipated sixth studio album Khaled Khaled. We’ve already seen Khaled tease records with everyone from Lil Baby and Meek Mill to Nas and Roddy Ricch. Despite having already shared so many details with social media as of late, it appears that DJ Khaled still has a few surprises up his sleeve, as the veteran record producer has recently come forward to reveal the secret to his “glow.”

A post shared by DJ KHALED (@djkhaled)

His “glow” is apparently the result of a tried-and-true skincare routine, which according to the Father of Asahd artist consists of “two tings.” In a recent Instagram post, DJ Khaled shared a video in which he walks his followers through a Rihanna-approved skincare routine. For the caption, he penned, “People always ask me how I got my Glow…[2] tings: GOD AND @fentyskin.”

In the video, which also stars DJ Khaled’s wife Nicole Tuck, Khaled walks followers through three easy-to-follow steps that include washing his face, snatching his pores, and lastly, hydrating and protecting. In typical DJ Khaled fashion, there is an ample dose of comedy as well, with Khaled’s overuse of the word “glow” and his constant kissing of his wife after every step in his skincare routine.

Has DJ Khaled’s Fenty Skin endorsement convinced you to give Rihanna’s brand a try?

Taylour Paige and Riley Keough Star In Epic Trailer For “Zola”

Certain viral trends on social media have become cultural moments in their own right, from the debate about the blue and black (or white and gold?) dress to the telling of A’Ziah King a.k.a. @_zolarmoon’s epic 2015 Twitter story. While the former should probably never inspire a spinoff in any shape or form, the latter has been made into a movie, aptly titled Zola, and Twitter veterans are excited for the film’s release later this year. Today, the highly anticipated film has finally unleashed its wild trailer, months ahead of its forthcoming summer release.

As reported by People, Zola‘s first full-length trailer stars Taylour Paige as Zola, a Detroit waitress who strikes up a friendship with a customer, and Riley Keough as Stefani, who convinces Zola to join her in Florida for a weekend of fun, dancing and partying. The stripper adventure is first contextualized in the trailer by Zola’s humorous opener, “Y’all wanna hear a story about why me and this bitch here fell out? It’s kind of long but full of suspense.”

From then on out, complete madness ensues as fans are treated to glimpses of Zola and Stefani’s crumbling relationship, outlandish cameos from costars Colman Domingo and Nicholas Braun, and the overall electrifying nature of the upcoming film. Check out the ridiculous trailer for Zola below.
