A.CHAL Is Feeling Himself On Dope New Single “High Horse”

Peruvian singer-songwriter A.CHAL has been making a huge impression on fans thanks to his mixture of styles that brings hip-hop, r&b, and pop music together. Each new song has a distinct style to it and this is ultimately what has allowed A.CHAL to thrive in such a manner. He has steadily been dropping some new songs and on Friday, he delivered a brand new effort called “High Horse.”

This track has a simple yet effective trap beat to it all while A.CHAL offers up playful flows and a ton of braggadocios lyrics. From his wealth to his status, and even to the women he attracts, A.CHAL has plenty of things to pop off about. The topics expressed in the song have certainly been done before although you can’t help but feel like his voice is unique enough to carry him further.

In case anybody gon’ violate
Drippin’, drippin’ like the shit Tapatío
I make that ass clap, Rosalía
Baby girl know how to sing like Aaliyah
I send her back in a Lyft in a Kia

Drake Compliments Kodak Black On New Album: “You Really On Another Level”

Drake was one of Kodak Black’s earliest supporters before the Florida native became a leading name in the rap scene. It earned him some criticism but clearly, it wasn’t enough to prevent the Canadian rapper from showing his public appreciation for Yak. On Friday, Kodak Black shared his latest album, Haitian Boy Kodak— his first project since his release from prison.

While the project might partially be drowned out by the hype surrounding J. Cole’s The Off-Season, it’s still winning over fans who’ve been eager to receive new, fresh music from Kodak. Apparently, it’s Yak’s work that has been fueling Drake’s creative energy. “Man you always give me that inspiration… Real POET… Oracle,” said Drake in a series of messages to Kodak Black on Instagram.

“I Wanna B Like You Bra, You The Greatest… Sign Me,” responded Kodak along with a laughing emoji and a purple demon emoji.

By Drake’s response, it didn’t seem like he was interested in adding the Broward County star to the OVO roster but he did invite Kodak to collaborate in the future. “Man let’s do some music for sure,” responded Drake. “But for real you really on another level.”

Maybe, it’s best for Kodak’s career at this point that he doesn’t get placed under Drake’s guidance but still, the Canadian rapper’s praise resonated deeply with Kodak.

“When drake holla @ me that mean the most… I appreciate everybody support to my new project #HaitianBoyKodak & Everything else,” he wrote on Twitter.

This, of course, would not be the first time Drake had good things to say about Kodak. Back in 2018, Drake also DM’d Kodak following the release of Dying To Live with praise. Kodak Black later publicly requested that Drake do an entire collaborative project with him.

Nicki Minaj Wishes Happy Birthday To Her Late Father: “Miss U So Much”

Nicki Minaj recently spoke out about her father Robert Maraj’s death for the first time. Maraj passed away in February after he was struck by a vehicle while crossing a road in Long Island. The Young Money emcee finally opened up about the loss in an open letter about what a painful loss his passing was. “Tho I can’t really bring myself to discuss the passing of my father as yet; I can say it has been the most devastating loss of my life,” she wrote.

She continued, “I find myself wanting to call him all the time. More so now that he’s gone. Life is funny that way. May his soul rest in paradise. He was very loved & will be very missed.” The South Jamaica, Queens rapper took time out on Sunday (May 16) to share warm words in honor of her father’s birthday.

Just days after penning the open letter, Nicki is continuing to speak publically about the loss to honor Maraj on his birthday. “Happy Birthday Daddy. Miss u so much. So much. So so much. Rest In Peace. Oh my God,” wrote the acclaimed rapper in the caption of the post. She added a photo of her smiling father in a “Legends Never Die” tee to deliver the message.

In February, shortly after the fatal accident, Nassau County Police revealed that Charles Polevich, 71, of Guam, had turned himself over to police. Polevich also has a home on Long Island and has no prior criminal record before the incident. He was ultimately charged with leaving the scene of an auto accident with a fatality and tampering with evidence.

He faced arraignment in February in connection with the hit and run. Elsewhere for Nicki, she recently elaborated on her much-needed break from the music industry. “Very much needed that zen for important bonding time [with] my son, getting back fluid [with] writing & [something] else I don’t want to discuss yet. If u know u know,” she spoke of her time off.

It seems like she may be ready to step back into music now, however.
