Their romance may not have lasted, but Masika Kalysha and Fetty Wap were blessed to welcome a daughter, Khari Barbie, together. Fetty is hush-hush when it comes to the relationships he has with the mothers of his children and his kids, but every once in a while, Masika will surface to speak openly about the often contentious relationship she has with Fetty. For Mother’s Day, the model mogul took to social media to share a series of adorable photos of herself posing alongside little Khari as she plugged her brand before sounding off about feeling that certain people in her life could be doing more.

She didn’t name Fetty specifically, but people have attributed the message to him while others believed she was speaking about her friends and family members, as well. “I be feeling so unappreciated & under valued on Mother’s Day… from the ppl who are actually in my life,” wrote Masika.

“Y’all can take that Mother’s Day text & go straight to hell with it,” she said. “This is my 5th Mother’s Day & I’ve only ever received 1 Mother’s Day gift… in 2018. Not even a dinner, a massage, a gift, hell a day off. On Mother’s Day I’m always on full mom duty. Let’s normalize giving moms a damn break on Mother’s Day. I wanna go shopping and sip champagne today and do hood rat sh*t with my friends! Tf.”

Masika was hit with critics who told her that her child is her gift or she should just buy herself Mother’s Day presents, but she doubled down on her comments. “Dear strangers, if you don’t like what I say on my page, get off my page [woman shrugging emoji] it’s really that simple.” Check out her posts and a few clapbacks below.

Mission: Impossible 7 is set to feature Tom Cruise pulling off an extremely dangerous stunt which includes driving a motorcycle off of a cliff and parachuting down. Cruise discussed the upcoming film in an interview with Ella Kemp for Empire.

Kemp describes the stunt as “the single most dangerous thing [Cruise had] ever done.”

“If the wind was too strong, it would blow me off the ramp,” Cruise explained. “The helicopter [filming the stunt] was a problem, because I didn’t want to be hammering down that ramp at top speed and get hit by a stone. Or if I departed in a weird way, we didn’t know what was going to happen with the bike. I had about six seconds once I departed the ramp to pull the chute and I don’t want to get tangled in the bike. If I do, that’s not going to end well.”

Throughout the Mission: Impossible franchise Cruise has built a reputation for doing his own stunts, but the motorcycle stunt is arguably beyond anything he’s done before.

Production on Mission: Impossible 7 has been in the works for some time and faced numerous delays. Earlier this year, the UK’s Sun reported that it was “a nightmare” behind the scenes due to Tom Cruise’s obsessive behavior.

Diddy has been hinting at a name change for a while. There’ve been a few false alarms but last week, he finalized it. He shared a photo of his Florida driver’s license which now reads, “Sean ‘Love’ Combs.” Diddy’s had a few name changes over the course of his career but Love was the least expected.

If you’re wondering where the inspiration behind the name came from, Diddy’s allowed the wise words of Kendrick Lamar to explain it. The music mogul took to Instagram where he shared footage from an old Kendrick Lamar interview where the Compton star explains what he feels is the meaning of life.

“When are we going to understand that we are put on Earth to love,” Kendrick says in the clip. “That’s all it’s about. Everybody want to figure out how complicated life is and break it down. This is what I truly think. I really think that it’s going to keep going on, war’s going to keep going on, frustration’s going to keep going on, anger’s going to keep going on until we finally go back down to the simplest word. Love.”

Diddy, or Love, if you will, declared that the name change marks a new chapter in both his career and his life. “Welcome to the LOVE Era!! Have a love filled day! LOVE,” he wrote.

As much as many moms relish in the attention, Fredo Bang fired off a friendly warning about sharing certain images online.

“Street Guys, Be Smart On Posting Y’all Mother. Make Sure Y’all Not Putting Her In Harms Way for a Post,” tweeted the rapper. “#HappyMothersDay [gorilla emoji] [red heart emoji].” Fredo soon received an onslaught of co-signs, especially considering we’ve received news about rappers, especially, being located, extorted, robbed, and even killed for revealing too much information about their families or movements online.

Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown will miss the remainder of the season after tearing a ligament in his left wrist.

“This past weekend Celtics forward Jaylen Brown was diagnosed with a torn scapholunate ligament in his left wrist,” the team announced in a statement. “Brown is expected to have the torn ligament surgically repaired later this week, and will be out for the remainder of the 2020-21 season. Further updates will be provided as appropriate.”

The team did not detail how the injury occurred but Mark Murphy of the Boston Herald reports that the All-Star forward has been dealing with a wrist issue since mid-April. While Brown is missing time with an ankle sprain regardless, the Celtics decided to go ahead with season-ending surgery.

Brown missed the last three games for the Celtics while nursing the ankle injury.

The 24-year-old is in the midst of a career season, averaging 24.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game.

The Celtics are currently 35-33 and in seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings; however, they are just 4-6 in their last ten games and will face an uphill battle with Brown now out for the season. If the team’s place in the standings holds, they’ll likely have to face the Brooklyn Nets in the first round.
