The company prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer and has denounced discrimination, so when an offensive email was sent out to customers, the backlash was swift. Several social media users who are also Walmart customers woke up this morning to an email from “[email protected]” that looked official, but its opening line was, “Welcome to Walmart, N*gger.”
Dozens of people took to Twitter to share their experience, and Walmart Canada initially sent out a copy-paste response that told one customer that if she didn’t wish to receive emails any longer, she could opt-out. Obviously missing the point of the Twitter user’s complaint, the exchange further launched Walmart into more controversy.
The mega-retail chain finally issued a formal response from Walmart via the company’s spokesperson. “We discovered that an external bad actor created false Walmart accounts with obvious intent to offend our customers,” the spokesperson said. “We were shocked and appalled to see these offensive and unacceptable emails.”
It’s unclear just how many customers received the offensive email, but the company reportedly assured online users that their database wasn’t hacked and none of their customers’ information had been compromised. Walmart is reportedly “looking into all available means to hold those responsible accountable.”

It’s a given that New York rappers Troy Ave and Casanova have zero love for one another, but the former emcee made sure to let everyone know exactly why he can’t stand the guy he unfavorably deemed “Assanova” — on Christmas Day no less! — with a longwinded Instagram post full of receipts.

Nonstop.” He added that he’s honored to see his peers receive recognition for their work as well, noting that he enjoys that more than getting awards. When asked who he wants to collaborate with, DaBaby said he’s open, but Drake is the person he’s been waiting on.
“Everybody. Going crazy, working hard, man,” he said. “Drake, I’m waiting on you, my boy. Still ain’t got in that blender, man. I’m waiting on you, man. Since their breakout moment with Drake on “In My Feelings,” the City Girls have been defending their place in the Rap game. The pair of Florida natives are known for their explicit lyrics and back-shaking beats, but they’ve been attacked for how they’ve presented themselves as rappers. Regardless of the criticism, they continue to climb the charts with club-ready releases, and with Summer knocking on our doors, their latest single “Twerkulator” is prepped for radio and DJ spins around the globe.
One person who made sure to give City Girls their flowers was Bow Wow who wrote on his Instagram Story that he had to “admit” that the two ladies had a hit on their hands.
“Ok so i finally met the @thegirljt And @yungmiami305,” wrote Bow. “I MUST ADMIT! Not only are they very nice women and down to earth, but this f*cking twerkolator song is F*CKING CRAZY!
