Wifisfuneral Gets The Last Laugh On “Smoking Mirrors”

Since gaining notoriety from posting his music on SoundCloud near the end of the 2010s, 2018 XXL Freshman Wifisfuneral has been vocal about his struggles with drug abuse and even hinted at retiring from rap. Despite his personal issues, the South Florida artist rapper has continued to evolve and improve with every project. Today, Wifisfuneral is finally back with his first project since last August’s full-length effort PAIN?.

Led by the previously released single “CC Demon” with Jetsonmade, Smoking Mirrors is a seven-track project that arrives on Alamo Records.

Doja Cat Shares Nonsensical New Song & Says She Won’t Be Disrespected As A Rapper

Doja Cat is one of the funniest celebrities, constantly trolling her fans by following ridiculous trends on TikTok and Twitter. Following her performance at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Thursday night, the Los Angeles-based singer/rapper decided to get her followers hyped up for some new music, announcing her first new single since dropping “Kiss Me More” with SZA. Counting down the minutes until she dropped, Doja kept her undefeated streak intact when she uploaded a joke song to SoundCloud and directed everyone to it on Twitter, duping everyone once again.

“I’m dropping my next single tonight,” wrote the 25-year-old artist on Twitter last night. For the last few months, there have been rumors that her new album Planet Her could be coming soon. This announcement hinted that it likely wouldn’t be too long before the arrival of her next full-length. However, when fans clicked the link she had sent, they were exposed to a 30-second audio clip of some hilarious flute riffs, a remix of Masked Wolf’s “Astronaut In The Ocean,” Doja’s unmixed rendition of Ja Rule’s “Mesmerize,” and more nonsense.

“DONT EVER FUCKIN DISRESPECT ME AS A RAPPER,” she wrote following the release of “VERY BEST” on SoundCloud. “AFTER THE LAST SONG I DROPPED YOU WILL RESPECT MY PEN AND THATS FUCKIN THAT. stream Very Best.”

Some fans are theorizing that this is Doja’s revenge after her lyrics were misquoted on multiple streaming services from her last release.

Listen to the joke new song below and stay tuned for some actual new music from Doja Cat, which should be coming soon.

Hotboii & Future Tell The Ugly Truth On “Nobody Special”

After releasing singles like “F*ck Shit” and “Cheese” with Mike Smiff, Hotboii is back with his latest new track, titled “Nobody Special.” The Double O Baby artist is one of the hottest rising rappers coming out of Florida right now, and to keep his momentum going, Hotboii has officially teamed up with Future Hendrix for his latest single.

Likely one of the most toxic new tracks released this week, “Nobody Special” finds Future and Hotboii admitting to all of the lying and manipulation that they’re guilty of when it comes to communicating with women. As unappealing as that sounds, however, the impressive ATL Jacob production and wavy verses from both artists make it easy to look past its toxic subject matter.

Check out Hotboii and Future’s new song “Nobody Special” below and let us know if you’re feeling their collaboration by leaving a comment.

Quotable Lyrics

If you stand for nothin’ (For nothin’), you’ll fall for anythin’ (You wildin’)
Almost said I love her (I love her), I tell her anything (I lie)
No, you don’t deserve a Birkin (No Birkin), not even a chunk of change (No dime)
I break hearts, I’m a problem, you ain’t gon’ want the fade (No)

Lil Nas X Wants His Next Music Video To Be ‘Crazier’ Than His Other Ones

The 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards were last night and so many of the biggest music stars were on hand. That included Lil Nas X, who wasn’t up for any awards but was there to present Elton John with the 2021 iHeartRadio Icon Award (alongside Coldplay’s Chris Martin). At one point during the evening, Lil Nas X took a couple minutes for a red carpet interview with Variety, and he spoke about his head-turning hopes for his next music video.

During the brief chat, he was asked how he plans to out-do “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” and his previous attention-grabbing visuals. He responded, “I want to do something in a different lane that’s crazier. I’m not sure what yet, but that’s for when I make a main single or something, you know?”

He also spoke about how he felt during his famous pants-splitting incident while performing on Saturday Night Live, saying, “I was quite terrified, but I was like, ‘The show must go on… I hope my goodies aren’t on TV right now.’” As for the current location of those now-iconic pants, he said, “I think they’re still in New York being shipped here. We have to put them in a museum one day.”

The rapper closed with a message for LGBTQ kids who might be facing struggles: “You f*cking rock, f*ck everybody else.”

Machine Gun Kelly Wears Claw-Like Nail Extensions To iHeartRadio Music Awards

Over the past few years, rappers have become increasingly interested in extravagant nail styles. Rappers like A$AP Rocky have been known to paint their nails for some time now, and Lil Yachty has even recently launched a nail polish brand to disrupt gender stereotypes surrounding men painting their nails.

While the Hip-Hop community has seemingly accepted the new wave of male artists wearing nail polish, many fans and artists were still really shocked when polarizing Florida rapper Lil Pump debuted a full set of pointy acrylic nailsKodak Black was one of many people to clown the notorious Lil Pimp. However, the “Gucci Gang” rapper maintained that he was a trendsetter, saying, “Don’t copy me, please.”

Well two months later, it looks like another well-known artist has done just that.

While attending the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Machine Gun Kelly was seen sporting an eye-catching nail set that puts Lil Pump’s March antics to shame. The Tickets To My Downfall artist donned long, claw-like nail extensions on his left hand, and in addition to the ridiculous length and sharpness of the nails, each of them was painted with different designs and colors.

MGK was up for two awards at the awards show, but in the end, the rapper-turned-rockstar’s conspicuous look was wasted because he ultimately left empty-handed. Are you feeling Machine Gun Kelly’s long acrylic nails?
