As we reported, Dexter has been given a new identity in his upcoming comeback-season, thus hinting that Dexter has an entirely new life, and therefore, new characters in his life. Nonetheless, it does appear that one character from Dexter’s previous life will be making an appearance.

The official Dexter Twitter account let out yet another teaser for Father’s Day, depicting a picture of Dexter and his son burning in a fire paired with the caption, “Wanna know a secret? Daddy kills people.”

Fans on social media speculate the post may have been a silly nod to the holiday, or it may serve as a clue to the plot of the upcoming ninth season. 

Harrison, Dexter’s son, was last seen in the show on season 7. If the show timeline follows along with the actual time passed since 2012, his son would be old enough to find his old man on his own, and possibly, stir up some trouble along the way.

Fans have been attempting to piece together clues from the show’s cryptic tweets since April, with new, bite-sized video teasers, or images, dropping monthly. The show is expected to premiere in Fall 2021, although no official release date has been confirmed.

Just ahead of the conclusion of Pride Month 2021, an NFL player has shared news about his sexuality. On Monday (June 21), Las Vegas Raiders star Carl Nassib shared a video to his Instagram page where he revealed to the world that he’s gay. The 28-year-old defensive end stated that he’d been meaning to open up about his personal life for a while, and he detailed why he felt it was important to go public.

“What’s up people, I’m Carl Nassib, I’m at my house here in Westchester, Pennsylvania. I just want to take a quick moment to say that I’m gay,” the Raiders star began.

“I’ve been meaning to do this for a while now, but I finally feel comfortable enough to get it off my chest,” Nassib continued. “I really got the best life. I have the best family, friends, job a guy could ask for. I’m a pretty private person, so I hope you guys know that I’m really not doing this for attention. I just think that representation and visibility are so important.”

“I actually hope that like, one day, videos like this and the whole coming out process are just not necessary. But, until then, I’m gonna do my best and do my part to cultivate a culture that’s accepting, that’s compassionate, and I’m gonna start by donating $100,000 to The Trevor Project.” The organization is hailed as the top foundation that works in suicide prevention in the LGBTQIA+ community, particularly with the youth.

If there’s anyone who knows how to host a party, it’s Sean “Love” Combs. The Hip Hop mogul has been breaking records and making trends for decades, so when it’s time to relax with a few of his famous, talented friends, Diddy coordinates some of the most memorable shindigs in the industry. Over the weekend, there were several snippets shared throughout social media showing the likes of Keyshia Cole, Cordae, and dozens of others gathering for Juneteeth thanks to “Club Love,” but it was a video of Anderson .Paak and Dreezy that got people talking.

Back in March, Anderson and Bruno Mars announced that they were collaborating for their retro-style project Silk Sonic, and they triumphantly introduced themselves with their single, “Leave the Door Open.” The track has become a favorite and continues to trend on social media, so it was only fitting that when Anderson was at “Club Love,” the hit single needed to be played.

In the viral clip, Anderson is seen dancing away with rapper Dreezy nearby and when his song comes overhead, he gets right into character. The performer quickly turned into a smooth operator as he sang his verse to Dreezy, and before you knew it, they were getting closer than close on the dancefloor.

The recent Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion has thrust Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s relationship back into the spotlight. The public hasn’t let up on the couple since 2019’s Jordyn Woods kissing scandal, but Khloé and Tristan quietly reconciled following the controversy. However, Khloé did mention that although Jordyn hasn’t offered up a personal apology, she doesn’t hold any ill feelings toward her and wouldn’t care if her sister Kylie Jenner decided to be friends with Jordyn once again.

On Monday (June 21), as news of Khloé’s forgiveness went viral, a new report surfaced stating that the reality star and her basketball beau have broken up. It’s reported that they decided to call it quits weeks ago, and soon, more gossip began circulating that Tristan was recently spotted at a house party in Bel Air behaving like a single man.

According to reports, Thompson allegedly went into a bedroom with three women, stayed inside for 30 minutes, and when he emerged, he apparently looked “disheveled.” After a screenshot of an article was posted to social media, Tristan hopped in the comments and dropped off several “cap” emojis, calling out the story as a lie.

The Bronx rapper is set to appear in the forthcoming Fast & Furious flick as Leysa but it seems like she’ll be a fixture in the Fast & Furious world. Vin Diesel hinted at her return in Fast & Furious 10 during a recent interview with ET.

“We are very much excited to evolve her character and to expand it to the finale,” said Diesel of Cardi B. “She made it just in time. She came in Fast 9 just in time.” 

Justin Lin, director of F9, explained how Cardi B was a natural presence in the Fast & Furious universe and expressed his excitement to see her character expand.

“And I love how when I got together with her, her and Vin were talking about the character because she’s actually really embedded into the overall universe, she’s been around for a long time and this is just the first time we are seeing her, so I’m really excited to explore that character of her.”

T-Pain, in many ways, revolutionized the sound of pop music as we know it but his start in the music industry wasn’t easy. It was his use of auto-tune, specifically, that left a bad taste in the mouth of both rappers and singers. Jay-Z would go on to release “D.O.A.” which clearly didn’t put an end to its use in hip-hop.

In a newly released clip from Netflix’s This Is Pop, T-Pain recalled a conversation with Usher who confronted him on an airplane in 2013 on claims that he “fucked up music.” He explained that he was asleep on the flight to the BET Awards and was woken up by a flight attendant who told T-Pain that Usher wanted to speak with him. 

Pain explained that what started as small talk eventually grew into Usher blaming him for the state of music. “I didn’t understand. Usher was my friend. He was like, ‘You really, like, fucked up music for real singers,'” Pain recalls in the clip. 

He continued, “Literally, at that point, I couldn’t listen. Is he right? Did I fuck up music? And that is the very moment — and I don’t think I realized this for a long time. That’s the very moment that started a four-year depression for me.”
