JT Says City Girls Haven’t Released Music Since Last Summer Because She’s “Scared”

City Girls released their well-received second studio album City on Lock last summer featuring guest appearances from the likes of Lil Baby, Doja Cat, Lil Durk, and more. Since then, the Miami-bred rap duo has slowed the pace on solo new material and has instead been focused on hopping on fellow artists’ tracks to lay down a few verses. Explaining to fans why this is the case, half of the duo JT expressed her anxiety about future releases on social media.

“I miss us dropping music it seems like we have cause of remixes but we haven’t had a single since June last year, wow!!!” typed the 28-year-old rapper, who had been linked with Lil Uzi Vert since last year, officially making their social media debut as a couple a few weeks ago.

She continued, “I just be scared,” with a crying face emoji. While the group’s fanbase would likely support anything their fave’s release, there is always a sense of fear associated with the process when you’re an artist sharing your product.

Some fans took the opportunity to vocalize their desire to see a collaboration between JT and her new beau Lil Uzi Vert. She recently fired back at fans who complained about the amount of PDA her and Uzi were displaying all over social media.

“Nah it was better when y’all felt like he was playing me & y’all was laughing now he loving me in y’all face & it annoys b*tches like you!” JT replied to a fan.

“The ones who can’t keep or get sh*t from a n*gga so y’all hate to see the next b*tch with it & happy!” JT added, “Mc chicken coochie Twitter always say ppl doing too much posting THEY sh*t, it’s my account, my content. If you uncomfortable unfollow me.”

NBA Youngboy Arrest: Kodak Black Reacts

Youngboy Never Broke Again and Kodak Black were once on the same page but something changed in their relationship, prompting them to become at odds with one another. The two have gone at each other on numerous occasions, with Kodak’s Sniper Gang affiliates even pushing customized toilet paper with YB’s face on the rolls at a time. Despite their rumored disdain for one another, Kodak isn’t happy about Youngboy’s recent arrest.

On Monday evening, it was reported that rapper Youngboy Never Broke Again was arrested by the feds and LAPD after he attempted to flee on foot. The “Make No Sense” artist was reportedly caught by a K-9 unit after running away. Plenty of reactions from his closest loved ones, including Yaya Mayweather and Jania Meshell, have come in overnight but his so-called rivals are also speaking out about his arrest. Jackboy, one of Kodak Black’s buddies, offered to buy YB’s boys food while the rapper is locked up, clarifying that he wishes jail on nobody. Kodak was more compassionate in his reaction, explaining that they’ve got their differences but that he’s far from happy that the star got caught by the feds.

“Nah, I ain’t happy YB went to jail,” said Kodak on Instagram Live. “F*ck I’m happy he went to jail for? That was my lil bruh at one point. The f*ck I’m happy for? We street n***as, that could be anybody.”

Despite all of the insults that have flown from the other direction, Kodak is showing maturity in his reaction to Youngboy’s arrest. Hopefully, YB gets out of jail soon and can continue his prolific music career. We will keep you updated as this story develops.

Benny The Butcher Details Shooting That Left Him Injured: “Them N*ggas Was Dumb”

He’s currently celebrating the release of his joint album with Harry Fraud, The Plugs I Met 2, but last November, fans of Benny The Butcher were concerned about the rapper. News broke that Benny was in Houston at a Walmart when he was getting out of his Rolls Royce before being approached by a group of men. The thieves demanded that Benny and his associates turn over their cash and jewelry, but instead, ABC 13 reported that Benny decided to flee the scene. As he ran off, the men opened fire and shot him in the leg. No one else was reportedly injured and the Buffalo rapper made a full recovery.

Benny recently revisited the incident while on Big Facts Podcast.” I know people wanna hear me talk about that Houston sh*t,” said Benny. “I want people to know that whatever happened, happened. I’m a street n*gga. I’m not nowhere cryin’ off of that and I’m more famous than I thought I was.” He added, “I had just split up with some n*ggas that I was with. We were going to a party. I had just grabbed crazy sh*t from the mall and I needed some under clothes. I needed some wife beaters and sh*t.”

“Them n*ggas was dumb for that. Them n*ggas was dumb,” he continued. “I feel like n*ggas really didn’t want no jewelry. They try to take my dignity and my integrity but I’m solid as they come… I done took sh*t from n*ggas. That’s part of the game. That’s how it go.” Benny said he doesn’t hide from anyone and will “go anywhere,” but he’s grateful that he was able to see another day.

“That’s the most important thing,” he said. “You see these n*ggas lose they life. F*ck all that other sh*t. N*ggas lose they life. In that situation right there, I want n*ggas to know I done been through fifty worse incidents than that that couldn’t have even prevented me from being here than that sh*t. At least fifty worse incidents… N*ggas can’t trick me out the streets. I came too far.”

21 Savage Flashes New Teeth, Responds To Trolls Teasing Him About Veneers

Those signature gold grills are a thing of the past for 21 Savage. Recently, there has been a rise in the number of rappers who have opted to get a new set of pearly whites and they’ve taken to Instagram to show them off. Lil Yachty couldn’t stop staring at his veneers while on Instagram Live with fans and NBA YoungBoy was in the dentist’s office while giving a first look at his new smile. YFN Lucci also decided to switch things up and the internet couldn’t get enough of Plies grinning from ear to ear with his new teeth.

Fans have been enjoying watching rappers sport their looks sans iced out grills, and recently, 21 Savage stole hearts after he posted a photo of himself with a new smile. In 24 hours, the photo has amassed 1.5 million likes and plenty of the rapper’s friends had something to say. “Very rare sell this as an NFT,” Metro Boomin teased.

Aside from the jokes, 21 was also the target of trolls who attempted to dismiss his new look because his teeth are fake. The rapper answered his critics over on Twitter when he wrote, “I paid 75k I’ll be dammed if I let y’all say these teeth ain’t mine [crying laughing emoji].” If true, that’s about $5K less than what Yachty said he spent on his. Check out the posts below.

Lil Yachty Explains Spending $52K Per Month In Bills & Why He Doesn’t Like Interviews

He recently bragged that he purchased the home next door to his own because he doesn’t like neighbors and he’s often seen flaunting his luxury vehicles, but it’s all worth it for Lil Yachty. The life of a rapper can be expensive if they’re enjoying the fruits of their labors to the maximum extent, and during his visit to the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, Yachty revealed just how much he’s dishing out monthly and broke down a few expenses.

“Every month, I got $52,000 in bills,” the rapper told the podcast hosts. “And I have to work. Let’s say I got $13 million in the bank, right? If my overhead is $52,000 every month because of houses and my staff and cars and insurance and all these things I take care of, and all these people, that thirteen will run down because that’s just the bills. I still like to live. I’m still a rapper. I still want to go to nice dinners, fly my girl out, or go to see my girl. We still want to do all these things.”

He added that it’s important to have more than one source of income because “you have to be making money while you’re sleeping.” Elsewhere, Yachty took an opportunity to throw another verbal jab toward VladTV. “It’s been a minute since I did an interview,” said Yachty. “I hate a lot of interviews because they always twist like—Vlad for instance, he’s a b*tch—I hate n*ggas like him because they take your words and they twist it… Vlad’s a b*tch and he’s a federal agent.” Check out the interview in full below.
