Nelly Creates Ruckus In Idaho As Residents Call For Boycott Of Upcoming Concert

The North Idaho State Fair is gearing up for Nelly to visit the Gem State for a sold-out concert, but the rapper has been facing a bit of backlash from residents. Nelly’s career has spanned decades and the St. Louis icon has earned a variety of awards, plaques, and accolades, so it comes as no surprise that his fans are excited to see him take to the stage. However, The Press reports that citizens have been circulating a blistering email chain condemning the rapper and his lyrical content.

A man named Duane Rasmussen set off the email titled “Whoa Nelly” and stated that people he has spoken with about the rapper’s appearance have expressed that they are “appalled by the actions of the fair board in selecting rapper entertainment for the fair.”

“Perhaps the North Idaho Fair Board has already made enough money on ticket sales to the denizens of Seattle and Portland to ignore any boycott attempt,” Rasmussen wrote in the email. “Collecting money through ticket sales to people who live in [Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone] and [Capitol Hill Organized Protest] might just help us get past the financial difficulties of the last year but is that what we are willing to sell our cultural souls for?”

Those “Capitol Hill” areas he’s referring to were reportedly six blocks of unpoliced zoning where Black Lives Matter protests erupted last year. It was later “cleared out by police,” according to The Press.

“I wonder if someone on the far left that is consumed with creating everything possible to injure our traditional communities’ values and lifestyle is behind influencing weak-minded people on the KC fair board and our county commissioners by selling them on this insane decision to upset our peaceful fair with the likes of Nelly,” resident Rich Loudenback stated. “Talk about selling your soul to the devil for money.”

Others complained that Nelly “is glorifying the Pimp lifestyle” while the rapper is being urged to make his way to nearby Seattle or Portland, and it was made clear he isn’t welcome by certain groups in Idaho. The show is set to go on whether people like it or not.

Kanye West Shows Off Humble Sleeping Quarters As He Completes “DONDA”

As many of you hold your breath forDONDA‘s August 6 release date, many Hip Hop fans aren’t believing that Kanye West will deliver. Last week, Kanye launched a short, yet epic rollout of DONDA after hosting listening parties in both Las Vegas and Atlanta. The latter was set to occur immediately before or just as DONDA was slated to hit streaming services, but instead, Ye left his worldwide fans waiting by not, yet again, releasing his album when he said he would.

Justin Laboy returned with updates, promising that DONDA would still make its Friday arrival before stating that the record will come on August 6. There have been rumors that Kanye hasn’t even left the stadium as he’s called in the cavalry to record the last-minute touch-ups to DONDA, and just hours ago, Ye offered a looking into his sleeping quarters.

It’s reported that Kanye has luxury homes all around the world, but until DONDA is complete, he’s experiencing more humble settings. It’s unclear how his team is getting by, but it is being assumed that they, too, are enjoying similar housing. Several celebrities jumped in Kanye’s comments to applaud his dedication while some fans aren’t convinced that DONDA will be completed in time.

Kanye West Shows Off What Appears To Be His Makeshift Bedroom At Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium

The music world was supposed to be enjoying Kanye West’s tenth album Donda last weekend, but the rapper did not release it as expected despite a huge listening event for it. He premiered what appeared to be an unfinished version of the project last Thursday at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium. With Donda failing to arrive on the intended release date of July 23, Kanye decided to move into the stadium in order to complete it before its rumored arrival on August 6. As he continues to put the finishing touches on the project, the rapper took to Instagram to show off what appears to be a makeshift bedroom made for him inside the stadium where the bumbling Atlanta Falcons play.

Kanye shared an image of the room to his Instagram page, and in it, you can see a rather small bed, a few pairs of shoes, including the pair he wore to the Donda listening event, clothes hanging in a closet, and an opened luggage. The rapper shared the photo without a caption, but for what it’s worth, it’s interesting at the very least to see how he’s living as he continues work on Donda.

During his time at the stadium, Kanye took a break from working on Donda to hang out with the crowd that was in attendance at the stadium for the Atlanta United soccer game against Columbus Crew on July 24. Kanye was spotted in the stands with fans, who seemed surprised and delighted by his presence, before he decided to walk around and tour the stadium as the match continued.

Coi Leray Poses For Photos With Fan Who Later Dissed Her: “Y’all D*cksucking”

She’s expressed that she doesn’t want problems with anyone and has addressed all of her controversies by saying she just wants to focus on her career and do well by her loved ones, but Coi Leray can’t seem to catch a break. TheXXL Freshman has been relishing in the successes of her singles including “No More Parties” featuring Lil Durk, but she’s found herself entangled in headlines involving her father Benzino, social media star Rolling Ray, and now, a random woman who is accused of using Leray for clout.

Over the weekend, Coi Leray appeared at Rolling Loud Miami and even shared the stage with her boyfriend Pressa, yet still, people looked for reasons to tear down the performance. That didn’t stop Leray from celebrating the moment and she shared a positive outlook after being trolled online.

Then, a woman named Lea Royer posted two photos she took with Leray. It is reported that the rapper was asked to pose for the pictures thinking Royer was a fan, but the caption Royer used with the Facebook post suggested otherwise. “I look more like a celebrity than her tbh,” wrote Royer. “(Not the fit just the face) y’all d*cksucking ode [crying laughing emoji].”

A screenshot of the post went viral, causing Leray’s fans to flood Royer’s Facebook with scathing comments. Several other artists have also come to Leray’s defense by calling out Royer for using the Rap star to boost her online presence.

“Y’all getting so mad cause i said i look like MORE of a celebrity. I personally feel like i look better than her,” Royer wrote on Facebook. “It’s not hate, never called her ugly or poor. Y’all reaching [crying laughing emoji] i asked her for a pic, looked at the pic and was like who’s the celebrity here me or her. y’all so angry for what. Mad cause y’all ain’t meet her.”

Ryoer also wrote, “I’m a celebrity. Y’all mad. At my own opinion [crying laughing emojis] y’all ain’t even like her XXL freestyle and wanna come at me [skull emojij] fake ass hypocrites.”

Wack 100 & Mysonne Exchange Fiery Words Over 6ix9ine Interview

The anticipated conversation between Wack 100 and Tekashi 6ix9ine facilitated by Akademiks has finally happened, but not everyone is receiving the news well. 6ix9ine has become Hip Hop’s pariah following his testimony against former Nine Trey associates, but that hasn’t stopped the New York rapper from returning to the industry, working with artists like Nicki Minaj and Akon, and making his way back onto the charts.

Wack 100’s artist Blueface has recently engaged in a war of words with 6ix9ine on social media, and after the pair went tit-for-tat, the California star called out his foe. Blueface wants to see 6ix9ine in the ring, but it doesn’t seem likely that a fight will go down anytime soon.

We previously reported on Wack 100 sending out a call to see 6ix9ine face-to-face, and after it occurred—reportedly for a three-hour conversation—the Hip Hop manager took to his Instagram to address critics who called him out for not attacking or assaulting 6ix9ine.

“The difference between me & you is simple,” the text image read. “I do wtf I wanna do.” He added in the caption, “@akademiks put that 3hr interview up I did with @6ix9ine he showed up with no security & all his Jewlery after clubbing all night [shrug emoji] don’t expect me to do something to em and you negros didn’t ! I see EM as a civilian he told the truth. Blame the streets and that block for allowing a civilian to wear the hat of a gangsta ! Sad day when the so called hustler is being hustled by the good kid from the Corner deli !”

Mysonne decided to call out the situation over on his Instagram page. “‘Wack’ 100 is the BIG BAD Blood that just Did a 3 hr Interview with The RaT That told on the Bloods.. [shrug emoji] You can’t make this sh*t up.” In the caption, he told “kids stay out the streets” and to avoid gang life. “There’s no honor and integrity. These people will have you take a life or lose your life for people like this.”

The back and forth was just getting started, because Wack 100 returned to drop a few insults about Mysonne’s career while also saying if he watches the interview, Mysonne is a “fan.” Mysonne responded by resharing an old post that shows Wack 100 calling out 6ix9ine for disrespecting Snoop Dogg. Read through it all below and there is much more from these two.

Lil Nas X Evades Question About How Kanye West Got Involved In “Industry Baby”

All of the ruckus surrounding Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow’s “Industry Baby” has been keenly focused on nude prison shower scenes and what is and is not appropriate for kids to see in entertainment, but not many people have spoken about Kanye West helping to produce the song. Ye has been locked away in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta reportedly finishing DONDA after pump-faking the album’s release last week, but Lil Nas X pushed forward with “Industry Baby” in a big way.

Recently, Nas X chatted with media personality Kerwin Frost and was asked about how he was able to connect with Ye on the record. Unfortunately, the rapper couldn’t give an answer because it doesn’t seem that he’s allowed to speak about it. At least, “not yet,” he said.

After adding that he wanted to protect people involved and the connections he has made, Lil Nas X lavished compliments onto Kanye West about the evolution of the Chicago icon’s career. “We talked, he’s a pretty cool guy, super down to earth, super talented,” he said, adding that he got a peek into what Ye has been creating in the studio.

“It’s nice to work with somebody who’s done that for so long,” said Nas X. “So much longevity and still going.” He also stated that Kanye is greater than just an evolving artist because he is consistent in changing himself and his musical, public persona with each project or creative endeavor.

Meanwhile, Kanye has shared a few images about his stay in the stadium. Check out Lil Nas X’s interview with Kerwin Forst below.

Lucy Liu Recalls Bill Murray Verbally Attacking Her On “Charlie’s Angels” Set

The lovable stories about Bill Murray posing for photos with fans or offering wisdom about life have been interrupted after Lucy Liu shared a  story about working with the Hollywood veteran. The two acclaimed actors shared the spotlight back in 2000 when they starred in Charlie’s Angels, and recently, Liu caught up with Asian Enough, a podcast from the Los Angeles Times, where she spoke about a verbal altercation.

The incident reportedly took place during a rehearsal where, according to the Why Women Kill actress, Murray began to “hurl insults” towards her while they were going over a scene. Initially, Liu claimed that she didn’t understand what was going on but soon realized that the Ghostbusters icon was directing his energy toward her.

“I was, like, ‘Wow, he seems like he’s looking straight at me.’ I couldn’t believe that could be towards me,” she said. “I say, ‘I’m so sorry. Are you talking to me?’ Clearly, he was because then it started to become a one-on-one communication.” Liu didn’t detail what was said, but she called Murray’s comments “inexcusable and unacceptable.”

“I stood up for myself, and I don’t regret it,” said the actress. “Because no matter how low on the totem pole you may be or wherever you came from, there’s no need to condescend or to put other people down.” She added that when the media caught wind of the exchange, she found the public’s response to be sexist. “What came out in the press was that I was this and I was that,” she said.

“It was incredible to me how it was turned around, and they automatically thought that the woman was the difficult one. But I didn’t understand how it got flipped when I had nothing to do with instigating it or creating that platform of confrontation or anxiety.” Liu and Murray have long reconciled, and he even spoke about the incident back in 2009, reportedly saying he “will dismiss you completely” if he feels as if someone is “unprofessional.”
