Mez Pays Homage On New Track “Jme”

Ahead of his One Uncle EP release, Nottingham’s Mez has touched down with a fitting tribute to Boy Better Know’s Jme with a track of the same name.

In his truest form, Mez handles production on the hard-hitting offering while multitasking with energetic delivery as Mez cleverly weaves in influences from Jme tracks like “Pricks,” “Man Don’t Care,” and “96 Bars of Revenge.”

It marks Mez’s first delivery of 2021, following up on a busy 2020 for the Grime mainstay in which he dropped off his Tyrone 3 project while his “Babylon Can’t Roll” one-off caught a major look in Grand Theft Auto V.

One Uncle gets here on August 13, but until then, get acquainted with “Jme.”

Aluna & Punctual Drop New Song “Summer Of Love”

Aluna has touched down with a new single alongside UK production duo Punctual. “Summer of Love” is an electronic dance jam that sounds like an easy radio hit.

When the single dropped, Aluna released a statement, saying, “In the summer of 2020 we wanted to feel like we were gonna change everything…. We also felt crushed at the same time and the first thing we needed was love from the person closest to us or just from ourselves to keep going…. The summer of love. 2021 has this feeling of a darkness lifting and I just wanted to capture that.”

The beat definitely will make you dance with its heavy and deep drums and Aluna’s voice is just as crisp and beautiful as ever. Stream “Summer of Love” and let us know what you think below.

Quotable Lyrics
Take my hand so we don’t have to run
Anywhere, when they come for us
I’ll stay close, so close and overcome
The only thing I need’s your love

Jdot Breezy Returns With Lengthy New Project “Society”

Throughout the last decade or so, melodic rap music has become the new wave, and it has spawned a ton of new artists who have added their own spin to the melodic sensibilities of the genre. This has also forced some artists to be more versatile as they bring heavy and aggressive flows to the table, while also offering those signature melodies on occasion. One of the new artists who has been able to find a perfect balance between these two styles is bubbling artist Jdot Breezy, who has been steadily releasing new projects since 2019.

On his brand new album “Society,” Jdot Breezy is able to show off the full scope of his versatility as he offers up a healthy mix of melodies and aggressive flows that speak on gang life, heartbreak, and the pitfalls of certain lifestyles. This new project contains 18 new tracks, and there is only one feature to be found here, in Lil Poppa. Jdot Breezy has some clear Polo G influence in his voice, although his lyrics and beat selection helps make him truly unique in the game.

You can listen to the brand new project from Jdot Breezy, below.

Tory Lanez Turns Up For His Birthday With Chris Brown At LIV

Turn up Tory was living good in Miami this weekend to celebrate his birthday. Tory Lanez’s birthday was earlier last week, and he blessed fans with some new music on that day. Although it was short, the “We Outside EP” is a good listen. The vibes were all smiles for Lanez just a few days later in Miami, as he and Chris Brown enjoyed themselves at Club LIV.

The club looked packed, which is no surprise for Miami. Although there was a Miami Beach curfew put into effect earlier this year, Florida has been pretty lax when it comes to social distancing and other similar mandates. Lanez documents this perfectly with the caption “LIV IS A ZOOOOOOOOOO.” Bottle girls can be seen carrying liquor with lights strapped to the side of them, the new age replacement for sparklers. All in all, it looked like Lanez had a great time.

The talented rapper and singer has been under some fire lately, which is nothing new for him. He made an appearance at Rolling Loud, where he took subtle shots at Meg Thee Stallion. Lanez popped up during DaBaby’s set, and the latter has recently been under fire as well for comments he made at the same time.

Odell Beckham Jr Cops $1.8 Million Iced Out Teeth

Odell Beckham Jr is one of the most prominent players in the entire NFL, and when it comes to his fashion sense, it is common knowledge that he is one of the freshest. From shoes to clothing, OBJ is always looking good before games and he has always been someone who also likes to accessorize and sport various pieces of garments. With this in mind, it should be no surprise that the NFL star would want to drop a whole lot of money on his teeth.

According to TMZ, that is exactly what OBJ did recently as he hit up famous dentist Thomas Connelly, who hooked him up with some dope diamond teeth coverings.

OBJ had all of his teeth realigned all while he received some 13-carat diamond coverings at the back of his mouth. All of this work came out to a grand total of $1.8 million which is certainly a lot of money all things considered. Regardless, the pieces look pretty damn good, and for OBJ, that’s all that really matters.

As for Connelly, he was incredibly proud of his work, and rightfully so. He recently did some impressive work on Chris Brown, and moving forward, it’s safe to saw other celebrities will be coming his way for all of their dental needs.

Coi Leray Says Crowds Don’t Show Love Because She’s Too Different

The conundrum of Coi Leray is an interesting one.

The recent Freshman Class alum has seen considerable success in the past year, with her catalog achieving viral status across music’s current guage–Tik Tok. The formula is pretty familiar these days with TikTok and Instagram success eventually crossing over into some semblance of reception with fans at home.

However, in Coi Leray’s case, recent performances and crowd reactions would have you think that no one’s even heard of the “No More Parties” and “BIG PURR” rapper. It’s perplexing to say the least (where are the millions of people streaming these songs?), but Coi has a theory.

“Ain’t nobody else doing shit,” Coi told TMZ after the outlet caught up with her post-Rolling Loud where yet another huge crowd of Hip-Hop fans gazed on as Coi put on a show in which no one seemed to be interested.

She surmises that her sound is just too different for today’s audiences and that routine has made them unreceptive to newer artists who are bringing new flavor to the masses.

“Ain’t nobody really doing nothing that’s making people want to go ahead and gravitate towards that. Everything that’s done is repetitive,” she continued. “They see it already, you feel me? When it comes to females, male artists, doesn’t matter what it is, everybody’s done it before. So when you got somebody bringing something new to the table, they don’t like that. So, it’s gonna take some time for people to get used to. I ain’t tripping.”

Before finalizing her statement, however, Coi does agree that one contemporary, Lil Nas X, is finding success at shaking things up. But, beyond that, Coi stands on the conviction that she’s one of one and that people will come around eventually.

Adam Silver Reveals LeBron James’ Take On Play-In Tournament

One of the biggest additions to the NBA over the past couple of years has been the play-in tournament at the end of the regular season. This two-game stretch allows teams who otherwise weren’t going to make the playoffs, get one last shot at glory. This can come at the cost of teams who are in the top eight, as we saw this last year when the Golden State Warriors were knocked off by the Memphis Grizzlies.

While the fans love the play-in tournament, it should be no surprise that the players aren’t exactly as fond of it. LeBron James was a staunch critic of the play-in, although as Adam Silver told TMZ recently, LeBron has come around on the idea.

Lonzo Ball Reportedly Interested In Signing With The Bulls: Details

When Lonzo Ball started out his career with the Los Angeles Lakers, there was a lot of pressure on him to perform and become one of the best point guards in the NBA. As the second overall pick with a father who touted his skills, fans thought Ball could become the next big thing. In the end, Ball struggled in his first few years in the league although he eventually found his footing with the New Orleans Pelicans.

The oldest Ball brother has gotten a lot better on both sides of the floor, and fans are excited for what he can do in the near future. Not to mention, he is a free agent this season which has many wondering where he will end up going.

Yesterday, it was revealed that the New Orleans Pelicans had sent a qualifying offer to Ball. As of Monday, various other teams can negotiate with Lonzo, and according to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, Ball is expected to sign a contract with the Chicago Bulls. As for the terms of the deal, it is very likely that Ball will sign for four years at $80 million.

Ball has been linked to the Chicago Bulls for quite some time now, so it only makes sense that he would want to sign with them heading into next season. With Zach LaVine on the roster, the Bulls backcourt is about to be special, and we’re sure the team will take a huge leap next season.

Logic Spazzes On Sample-Heavy New Track “God Might Judge”

After retiring from the rap game, fans had a sinking feeling that Logic would eventually return to the spotlight. Making music is one of those things you never truly retire from and it’s clear that Logic was getting that itch from the sidelines. On Friday, he made his comeback with Bobby Tarantino III which is filled to the brim with some exceptional tracks, including the effort “God Might Judge” which sees Logic and his producer at their best.

Logic’s longtime producer 6ix comes through with some truly exceptional beat switches, all while Logic spits bars about temptation, women, and the judgment that can come with all of it. The vocal samples throughout the song deliver a truly old-school feel, and overall, this is one of the best tracks on the project.

You can check out this new effort, below.

Isaiah Rashad’s Versatility Is On Full Display On “Darkseid”

Isaiah Rashad had fans incredibly excited for his brand new project called “The House Is Burning.” The album came out just last Friday and there are plenty of phenomenal songs to sink your teeth into. This is one of those bodies of work that has zero skips, however, it’s still healthy to find favorites amongst the tracklist. For many, the album’s opener “Darkseid” is especially special as it displays Rashad setting the tone for the entire project.

With this track, we get some smooth vocal samples and some jazzy instrumentation, all while Isaiah Rashad spits bars that will leave you motivated and inspired. Just yesterday, this song was tweeted out by the likes of Kevin Durant, and it is easy to see why. Rashad continues to impress fans and it’s clear that the project was well worth the wait.
