J. Prince Buys Himself a Private Island: “They Said It Couldn’t Be Done”

After making power moves for decades, J. Prince has finally fulfilled one of his dreams. The Rap-A-Lot Records icon has been a fixture in the music industry and helped create the Texas wave that fans continue to celebrate, and it’s time for Prince to take a giant leap. The rich and famous often like to show off their luxury whips and expensive jewelry, but not everyone has the right number of zeroes in their bank accounts to buy themselves a private island.

Eddie Murphy, Julia Roberts, Leonardo Dicaprio, Steven Speilberg, and dozens of other wealthy figures have copped themselves a private location surrounded by crystal blue waters, and J. Prince has added his name to the list. Prince shared a video of his new home, albeit at a distance, and he spoke about making his dream a reality.

“They said it couldn’t be done,” said Prince. “They told me I was dreaming too big. They told me I was crazy. They said it was impossible. I done made the impossible possible. Prince Island number one. Loyalty for life.” He’s understandably keeping the location of his tropical digs under wraps, but by the sound of things, we may be seeing a string of Prince Islands in the years to come.

BROCKHAMPTON’s “Count On Me” Visual Stars Lil Nas X & Dominic Fike

We have Lil Nas X news that doesn’t involve Satan shoes or “MONTERO” being stripped from streaming services. BROCKHAMPTON recently released their album ROADRUNNER: NEW LIGHT, NEW MACHINE, one of two projects that they plan on delivering this year. Their “COUNT ON ME” single has been a favorite among fans, so it’s only appropriate for them to drop off a music video that stars the likes of Lil Nas X and Dominic Fike. The visual opens with the two artists making their way into the woods before things start to take a strange turn.

In true BROCKHAMPTON fashion, everything becomes a tad trippy as the visuals begin to warp. Things get frisky between Nas X and Fike, as well, as they are seen getting close and making out in a few steamy scenes. The visual ends on a brain-melting note as NasX and Fike’s animated nude bodies intertwine. “I guess i’m a video vixen now,” Lil Nas X tweeted. Check out the music video for “COUNT ON ME” and let us know what you think.

Brockhampton Lets Lil Nas X And Dominic Fike Embark On A Trippy Journey In Their Video For ‘Count On Me’

Brockhampton has promised two albums this year, and the first, Roadrunner: New Light, New Machine, arrived last week. Already there’s a new video for one of its tracks, and it finds the boy band teaming up with two of his musical peers, Lil Nas X and Dominic Fike. The two star in the video for “Count On Me,” the second single from the new album, and it begins with Lil Nas and Fike riding in a Jeep as they kick off while cracking jokes like, “Who the f*ck is Radiohead?” Things take an unexpected turn when the two singers end up in the midst of a seemingly drug-infused trip that ends with surprising make-out session.

Roadrunner: New Light, New Machine enlists ASAP Rocky, ASAP Ferg, Danny Brown, Jpegmafia, Charlie Wilson, and more for the thirteen-track effort. Prior to the project’s release, Kevin Abstract, the groups’ lead vocalist, delivered news about Brockhampton’s future in a tweet. “2 brockhampton albums in 2021 – these will be our last,” he wrote. Exactly when that second album will arrive remains to be seen, but it appears that after a long run that started back in 2016 with their debut mixtape, All-American Trash, Brockhampton will be no more come 2022.

You can watch the “Count On Me” video above.

Roadrunner: New Light, New Machine is out now via Question Everything/RCA Records. Get it here.

G Herbo Explains How He Knew Fiancé Taina Williams Was “The One”

The love between G Herbo and Taina Williams is real. As most rappers take on a more distant persona when it comes to showering their significant others with love and affection online, G Herbo doesn’t hesitate to shine a light on his fiancé. The pair will soon welcome their firstborn and as they prepare for their little one, Herbo is reflecting on how he knew that Taina was “the one.”

The Chicago rapper recently caught up with the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast where he spoke about his life, career, and highly publicized romance with Fabolous’s stepdaughter. During the chat, Gillie Da Kid wanted to know what was it about Taina that made Herbo switch up his lifestyle.

“I ain’t go lie, to be honest, I feel like, I really feel like opposites attract in a way,” said Herbo. “I ain’t never really—she just pure, through and through. You know what I’m sayin’? She not afraid to like, express her feelings, tell me how she feel about stuff. Even when it’s like, I don’t understand it all the time, she’ll tell me something where I feel like she kinda like, dissin’ me a little bit. But she really ain’t, she tellin’ me something that really build me.”

“She really makes me feel like a man, like complete,” he added. “I’m at comfort when I’m at the crib. She take care of home. If I ain’t have no girl, bro, I’d be really livin’ like, crazy. I probably wouldn’t have no furniture at my crib.” Check out Herbo speaking about his leading lady below.

Chet Hank’s Ex Kiana Parker Sues Him For $1 Million, Alleges Domestic Abuse

His Rap career and his “White Boy Summer” may need to take a backseat until Chet Hanks gets his legal issues in order. We’ve previously reported that the son of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson was involved in an alleged physical altercation with his ex-girlfriend, Kiana Parker, earlier this year. The former lovers blamed the other for the incident and now, Parker is suing the famous spawn for allegedly abusing her on several occasions “between October 2020 and January 2021,” reports TMZ.

Parker has previously accused her ex of telling her that no one would take her allegations seriously because he’s “Chet Hanks” and she was “just a ghetto Black b*tch.” Court documents state that Parker accuses Hanks of threatening to take both their lives in a murder-suicide and adds that when she attempted to leave him, he became aggressive, resulting in her hitting him in the head with a pot.

The couple was sharing a home in Sugar Land, Texas, and on Chet’s side of things, he has alleged that Parker not only attacked him, but she stole money. Now, it’s being reported that Parker is suing Hanks for $1 million, but his attorney reportedly suggested that the lawsuit was nothing but a money grab.

“We consider the claims filed by Kiana Parker to be a shakedown,” says attorney Marty Singer. “The lawsuit filed by Ms Parker is in response to the lawsuit filed by Chet Hanks against Ms Parker on March 4,2021.” He added, “Her claims are completely false, fabricated and fictional.” Parker has been granted a temporary protective order against Hanks.

City Girls Chat With Megan Thee Stallion About Rough Upbringing In Miami

There has been an increasing number of women entering the Rap game in recent years and Interview Magazine wanted to highlight the “dominance” that has been taking place. The publication allowed Megan Thee Stallion to interview the City Girls as all of the ladies spoke about their upbringings, differences, and roads to success in the music industry.

As the City Girls were just taking off, JT was dealt a blow when she was carted off to prison. The rapper recalled how quickly everything happened and while she was inside, Yung Miami was doing her best to hold things down. “JT went to jail and I used to have to beg the DJs to play our song,” recalled Yung Miami. “She’d be like, ‘B*tch, I’m in jail. I’m not thinking about no f*cking music.'”

The City Girls also spoke about how their upbringing influenced their style of music. “The struggle, the fast life, the stealing. Growing up around my mom and auntie, they were always talking to men for money,” said JT. “I’ve never seen my mom in a real relationship… That’s what I grew up around, that type of life, the stealing and hustling. That’s where the influence comes from in the music, besides growing up in the Slip-N-Slide Records era, when we had the raunchy music with Trick Daddy and Trina. That’s all we really know.”

Yung Miami agreed and added that she comes from a similar background. “The stuff that I saw growing up were shootings,” she said. “My momma used to steal. My daddy was selling drugs. My mom used to sell clothes for us to get by. She’d just steal clothes and sell them. That was basically my upbringing, just growing up in the struggle.”

It seems that City Girls Summer and Hot Girl Summer are still on track even though all three ladies have significant others. Yet, JT admits that she’s not as much of a wild child as her groupmate. “I feel like Caresha has more of the City Girls side to her, the whole aura of it,” said JT. “She’s a party girl. She’s lit. She’s going to be shaking her ass and I’m probably going to be standing there mad about something.”

“That’s what’s good about being in a group, because if it was just me by myself, everybody would just be like, ‘Damn, I hate them because them bitches is boring,'” she added.

Durant Calls Shannon Sharpe A “Drunk Uncle” Over Fake Quote About LeBron

The dust recently settled on his controversy with Michael Rapaport and now Kevin Durant has a brewing beef with Shannon Sharpe. The Brooklyn Nets forward wasn’t having it earlier today (April 13) after Sharpe attempted to quote the basketball star while on Undisputed. In the segment, Sharpe quoted Durant as saying, “If LeBron James is the GOAT, I beat the GOAT twice and hit the shots in his building. What does that make me?”

It’s a boastful comment, to say the least, but the problem is, Durant claims he never said it. A basketball fan account on Twitter circulated a meme that attributes Durant to the quote, but it has been labeled as fake. Durant reshared a clip of Sharpe on Undisputed and added, “Y’all drunk uncle out here lying again. When did I say this @ShannonSharpe???????????????????????????”

Shannon went on tv responding to this quote like I actually said this,” Durant added. “Gullible fans will believe it, or say ‘you was thinking this anyway’ it’s comedy at this point.” The sports icon added that Sharpe refused to address the controversy online, but Sharpe told him that they could speak privately.

“KD, IF* you wanna talk to me. I’m not hard to find, but I’m not going bck and forth on social media,” tweeted Sharpe. “Whatever our differences are. They can be handled out of the eye of social media.” That wasn’t an acceptable response for Durant. “We can talk in front of everybody, it ain’t that serious Shannon, u go on tv in front of everybody pushing fake [sh*t] but now u wanna talk in private??? Why u lying on tv Shannon???”

In the end, it looks as if Sharpe blocked Durant. In response, the Nets baller wrote, “But I’m sensitive.” Check out some highlights below.
