Nicki Minaj was furious with JAY-Z on Monday afternoon as the hip-hop legend helped pick Kendrick Lamar to perform at the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show in New Orleans. She felt her longtime collaborator and hometown rapper Lil Wayne should’ve gotten the nod.

“Denying a young black man what he rightfully put into this game for no other reason but your ego,” she wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “Your hatred for BIRDMAN, Drake & Nicki got you punishing Lil Wayne?!?!!! LIL WAYNE!!!!!!!!!! THE GOAT?!!!!!!!!!!! Nola what’s good?!!!!!! Eminem stood firm on having 50Cent come out. A white man. Sh*t sad. House N****R TINGZ. but it’s GOOD FI DEM!!!!!!! No loyalty? Welp. then n****z will keep son’ing you!!!!!”

Tory Lanez Prison Cell Raided Following “Prison Tapes” Success

These last two months have been extremely good for Tory Lanez and his fans. Well, in the case of the Canadian rapper, about as solid as they will probably be. The incarcerated MC has been dropping multiple tracks per week thanks to his creative release schedule. Up until July 24, the multi-talent had been unleashing some old tracks throughout his career that never got to see the light of day at the time of their recording. They were labeled as “Lost Tapes”. However, Tory decided to compile all of these songs into one playlist known as the “Free Tory Playlist”.

However, that wasn’t the full extent of it. On IG, he would go on to announce —via prison phone call— that he was going to record new songs from his cell, calling them “Prison Tapes”. Overall, his fanbase has been eating up these tracks, with a handful them cracking the top 10 most popular category on his Spotify account. Sadly, though, they may be no more, according to DJ Akademiks’ akademikstv sub-brand.

A source close to Tory revealed that he had his prison cell raided. During that, they confiscated any potential recording equipment, which obviously puts all of this in serious jeopardy. Immediately, tons of his fans are jumping to the conclusion that Roc Nation (Megan Thee Stallion’s management team) conducted this. “ROC Nation working OT rn”, one IG user jokes. “Someway some how this is Megan’s fault”, another quips. Childish Gambino Is Postponing The North American Dates Of ‘The New World Tour’ To Focus On His ‘Physical Health’

Donald Glover, a.k.a. Childish Gambino, had to postpone the Houston, Texas, show of his The New World Tour over the weekend due to illness. Now, the rest of the North American dates on the trek have been called off (for now), too.

“hey everyone. unfortunately i have to postpone the rest of the north american tour to focus on my physical health for a few weeks,” Glover wrote on X on Monday. “hold onto your tickets. ALL tickets will be honored for the upcoming dates in north america when they are rescheduled. thanks for the privacy. thanks for the support. thanks for the love.”

The New World Tour kicked off earlier this month, following the release of Glover’s final album as Gambino, Bando Stone & the New World. “It really was just like, ‘Oh, it’s done.’ It’s not fulfilling,” the Community star told The New York Times about retiring his long-time moniker. “And I just felt like I didn’t need to build in this way anymore.” He added, “Success to me is, honestly, being able to put out a wide-scale album that I would listen to. For this album, I really wanted to be able to play big rooms and have big, anthemic songs that fill those rooms, so that people feel a sense of togetherness.”

Beyonce is apparently charging artists $2 million for a feature, according to the hacker who got access to Lil Durk’s Instagram page. The anonymous person broke into the rapper’s account over the weekend and shared a photo of him with Beyonce. Now, he says she asked for $2 million to appear on one of his songs in direct messages. “2 million cash for a Beyoncé feature I seen his dm,” they wrote.

When DJ Akademiks shared the post on Instagram, fans in the comments section couldn’t understand why she’d be charging so much. “A Beyoncé feature ain’t worth no 2 million im sorry this ain’t 2009, I respect her craft to she a goat,” one user wrote. Another wrote: “BEYONCE can do a 1,000,000 features with Durk. And the 40 plus year old women who listen to it still won’t buy an album or ticket to Durks concert. I know that truth hurts. Now go ahead and give me your best insults. You are not funny, nobody knows you…etc.”
