Wife of Alleged 6ix9ine Attacker Sets Up GoFundMe

Rafeal Medina is one of three men accused of attacking Tekashi 6ix9ine. On Thursday evening, Medina, joined by Octavious Medina and Anthony Maldonado, was booked into a county jail for assaulting the rapper.

The wife of one of the men who attacked the rapper, Jaime Medina, created a GoFundMe account to help with legal fees for all of the men involved. The money will not only be used for her husband but for the other men that jumped the artist.

6ix9ine was rushed to the hospital on March 21, 2023, with injuries to his jaw, ribs, and back. The rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was attacked by a group of men inside a south Florida gym. On Thursday, March 30, 2023, authorities arrested three people in connection with the assault, which was captured on camera.

In 21 hours, the campaign only raised $10 out of its original $100,000 goal.

She wrote, “The go fund me is for everybody involved.”

“My husband is Rafeal Medina,” the woman wrote. “I can’t talk much about the situation because it’s still on going, but my husband stood up for what he believes in— which unfortunately, ended in an altercation. It didn’t have anything to do with clout, my husband doesn’t even have social media.”

According to the wife, the internet made up “false assumptions,” regarding why her husband and the other men jumped the rapper.

“Rafeal is a hard-working, loving father and husband, who made a mistake; There are no excuses, but we are hoping that during this time, we can come together, support and donate to the GoFundMe for the entire cause and for the attorney fees,” she said.

Jamie Medina also asked people to “refrain from the negativity” because “there’s enough of that already.”

She ended the paragraph by thanking people for “all of the support.” The wife also listed her CashApp for people who wanted to give their donations to her directly.

Update: The GoFundMe page has been taken down.

Megan Thee Stallion Gives Show-Stopping First Performance Since Tory Lanez Verdict

Megan Thee Stallion is back, and gave a wonderful performance after taking a lengthy break since November. Moreover, she performed at her hometown of Houston at the March Madness Music Festival AT&T Black Party. Not only was this her first performance of the year, but also her first since her highly publicized case against Tory Lanez came to a guilty end for the Canadian star. While that case is still developing on his end, it’s clear that Megan is moving on to bigger and better things. For example, her collaboration with Doja Cat, “Taste Me,” is rumored to be released next Friday.

Furthermore, the “NDA” MC received a lot of love from her day ones while playing for Houston, both in person and on social media. What’s more is that her return even prompted some old wounds to heal up, albeit from her opponents. 1501 label boss Carl Crawford praised her for the comeback despite their industry feud and back-and-forths. Last month, the former MLB star issued somewhat of an apology to Megan Thee Stallion, and his latest message about the festival indicated a new album and world tour on the way.

Megan The Stallion Kills Her First Performance After Break

“Unfortunately, me and Megan haven’t talked since 2019,” Crawford remarked. “We been going through what y’all seen online. That’s unfortunate, too, because I never wanted to go have a situation where I was going back and forth with her on the internet. I never had problems with Megan Thee Stallion, but this social media stuff turned it really sour. You take this social media stuff out of it, and we won’t have a problem. You won’t hear me mention Megan Thee Stallion’s name unless it’s a big-time interview.”

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old is also making massive moves in the film industry, according to reports online. Moreover, the Safdie Brothers and Adam Sandler reportedly tapped Meg to star in their next film. While it’s far from her first acting role, the fact that she might link with the Uncut Gems team in a sports memorabilia-based flick is quite exciting. Still, there’s nothing quite like seeing the Stallion rock a live show. Check out another clip of her performance below and return to HNHH for the latest on Megan Thee Stallion.

Cam’ron Wants Mario Chalmers Drug Tested Before Their 1-On-1

Cam’ron says that he wants Mario Chalmers to get drug tested before their one-on-one game. The New York rapper called out the former Miami Heat player in a video posted on Instagram, Saturday. Chalmers had previously called him out in a post of his own the day before.

“Aye Killa Cam, I see it all, I hear it all,” Chalmers began. “It ain’t sweet over here my boy. I don’t know what you thinkin’, I don’t care about that money, whatever I made last year, let’s run this up, let’s get the bag and I’ma show you why I am who I am, and why I been where I been. Holla at me.”

As for Cam’ron’s post, he kicked things off by asking where Chalmers has been the last few years. He most recently played for the Memphis Grizzlies in 2018. “Where you been, where the fuck you been?” Cam’ron asked. “Talkin’ ’bout where you been, where you at now n***a! It’s dark and ya eyes are dilating. You on that Blue Magic bro, I know n****s on that ‘I stand by it, I guarantee it.’ That’s what you on, bro. And bigger than basketball, I’m concerned, man. I know life threw you a few curveballs, pause, but yo, you can’t start that shit bro.” He continued: “And if we play you gotta take a drug test. I’m like Judge Mathis with that heroin, I know a heroin addict when I see one. Yo bro, I’m concerned and if we play you have to take a mandatory drug test before, during, and after the game. Call me man if you need help, besides basketball I’m concerned.”

Cam’ron initially claimed that he could beat Chalmers in a one-on-one game during an episode of his sports talk show, It Is What It Is. The Dipset rapper launched the show earlier this year.

Draymond Green Slams NBA For New CBA: “Players Lose Again”

Draymond Green isn’t happy with the new collective bargaining agreement between the NBA and the NBPA. In a series of tweets posted on Saturday afternoon, the Golden State Warriors star tore into the new deal. The issue Green began with was a change in the salary cap that will hinder high-paying teams’ ability to bring in more talent. Other changes included in the CBA are a new 65-game minimum to qualify for awards and marijuana being removed from the banned substances list.

“The NBA is curbing the ability of the highest-spending teams, such as the Golden State Warriors and the LA Clippers, to continue running up salary and luxury tax spending while still maintaining mechanisms to add talent to the roster,” Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN explained. “The NBA is implementing a second salary cap apron — $17.5 million over the tax line — and those teams will no longer have access to the taxpayer mid-level in free agency. Those changes will be eased into the salary cap over a period of years.”

In response to the report, Green wrote on Twitter: “Players lose again…. Smh! Middle and Lower spectrum teams don’t spend because they don’t want to. They want to lose. So increase their spending capabilities, just to increase them. They continue to cut out the middle. And this is what we rushed into a deal for? Smdh! Never fails.”

In more posts, he responded to the new in-season tournament expected to start next season. Players will be paid $500,000 for the championship game. “What happened to the 1mm they said when this idea was first introduced?!?!” Green wrote. “Sheesh we lost 500k there too!” When a fan implied he’s greedy for being unhappy, Green fired back, “You mean the people who generate billions to make millions? Yeah those people!” In other posts, he complained more broadly about the agreement.
