Soulja Boy Claps Back At Boosie Online, “Don’t Call My Phone B***h”

Soulja Boy has never been one to shy away from beef, and this time is no different. After claiming online that he’s “one of the last straight rappers in the game,” Boosie tweeted a response letting him know that “everybody ain’t gay.”

Not long after, the “Pretty Boy Swag” rapper held nothing back in his clap back at Boosie, telling him “b*tch don’t call my phone.”

“I’m one of the last straight rappers in the game, n****. Everybody gay, n****,” Soulja Boy claimed in a recent Instagram Live.

“We promoting beef. We promoting violence,” he also said, adding, “We not painting our fingernails, n****.”

Clearly taking offense, Boosie tagged Soulja on Twitter, writing, “EVERYBODY AINT GAY @souljaboy U KNOW WHO STAND ON BUIZNESS FOR THE  REAL GANGSTERS.”

The “Set It Off” rapper then added, “CANT LET U SAY THAT MY NIGGA U KNOW IM [100 emoji] MY G.”

Soulja then made it clear that he wasn’t going to be checked, tweeting back, “I said what I said. You know what I meant. You wanna do something? I say what the f**k I want to. Didn’t you let a n**** just b***h u on a diss track? U ain’t stand on S**t n****.”

“I feel like @BOOSIEOFFICIAL don’t even like me b***h don’t call my phone,” he later said in a follow-up tweet.

Apparently squashing things before the day was over, Boosie tweeted back a laughing emoji, saying, “U JOCIN BRA. I AINT F**KING WITH YOU TODAY. HELLNA.”

“N ANY N**** SAY MY NAME  I SNAPBACK EVERTY TIME no [cap] U ON ONE TODAY,” the Louisiana native also joked.

Also extending an olive branch, Soulja responded back, “U know I f*k wit u OG, but I’ll crash out. Let’s just keep it koo and get this money.”

He then tweeted, “We def know u not gay Boosie come on now.”

Earlier this month, Boosie fired back at Gabrielle Union after the actress said that he had “a lot of d**k on his mind in a resurfaced interview.

Targeting her husband’s sexuality, the 40-year-old later tweeted in response, “The whole world know I love women n the world know your husband love d**k.”

Known for his controversial comments on Zaya Wade and Nas-X” class=”text-word” target=”_blank” >Lil Nas X, he also tweeted about Dwyane Wade at the time, “Go bang him with that dildo n wait on a script you lil white girl.”

Jabari Manwa Of Brockhampton Appears To Be Teasing His Solo Era Under His New Moniker, Saga Bouy

Brockhampton as we know it may be over, but its individual members, who we’ve come to know and love over the years, have exciting new projects underway. In a clip shared to social media, Brockhampton member Jabari Manwa appears to be teasing a solo era.

Manwa, who seems to be going by Saga Bouy now, was known for his role of handling much of the group’s music production, however, also penned many of Brockhampton’s hooks.

In the video, Manwa is seen driving through a city, sitting in a bedroom, and taking calls from someone by the name of love. Snippets of different songs can be heard throughout the video, however, the sounds are slightly obscured.

It sounds like Manwa will be taking on an alternative R&B sound for his solo Saga Bouy era, which, thus far, sounds similar to the likes of Don Toliver and Ty Dolla Sign. In a 2021 interview with Vulture, conducted as a group with Brockhampton, Manwa explained that he is inspired by an eclectic sort of sounds.

“We do listen to a lot of older rap,” Manwa said. “I feel like you can hear it in the album. Throughout the making of [our Technical Difficulties singles series], I was really big into Beastie Boys and Dr. Dre.”

He continued, saying, “Whereas, with the album that we had before, I was listening to Lil Baby, Lil Uzi, Cardi B, a bunch of shit. But that didn’t resonate with what was going on in the world. I felt like we had to go back and study a lot of those older songs because they had a lot of meaning in them, as opposed to sh*t going on today. I feel like we were trying to meet that quality, that timelessness a lot of those records have.”

LeBron James Could Be Traded This Summer, Says NBA Insider

LeBron James just turned 38 years old today. At this point, everyone knows that he is approaching the end of his career. In fact, he even spoke about retirement this week. However, it is clear that James can still play at a high level and that he is motivated to do big things.

Unfortunately, the Lakers have not given him the roster he needs to compete. There have been calls for the Lakers to make a move, however, they don’t seem to have the faculties to do that right now. If anything, they will have to wait until the offseason.

According to a report from Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated, there is a scenario in which the Lakers would have to straight up trade LeBron James. Essentially, if they can’t secure free agents like Kyrie Irving or Draymond Green, then LeBron will have little reason to want to stay. Overall, it creates a bad situation for the Lakers.

LeBron James Trade?

Per Mannix:

“Let’s face it: LeBron James’s decision to extend his contract with the Lakers was a mistake. It was a mistake for James, who doesn’t need the guaranteed cash, pushing his deal through 2023–24 limited his leverage. It was also a mistake for L.A., which didn’t have the pieces to build a title contender around James and (this season, anyway) doesn’t have the flexibility to do anything with him.

“In an ideal world, the Lakers use the cap space created by Russell Westbrook’s exit next summer to sign Kyrie Irving or Draymond Green, flip a draft pick or two and vault back into contention next season. But if that doesn’t happen, can the Lakers really go into 2023 with James, Anthony Davis and whatever group of castoffs they can assemble around them? Would James want to? Dealing James would take some chutzpah, but if L.A. whiffs on big-ticket items next offseason, is there really a better choice?”

It seems unfathomable that LeBron would be traded. However, even Wayne Gretzky was traded. At the end of the day, everyone has their own interests and if LeBron and the Lakers don’t align, then they must part ways.
