By now, it was expected that we would have already received the new Kid ‘n Play-inspiredHouse Party reboot. The famed franchise of fun films was first launched in 1990 and starred Hip Hop icons Kid ‘n Play. The movies have long been considered classics, and for this new generation, LeBron James is offering an updated version with his House Party film.

It seems that there have been some delays with the movie’s release, and Christopher “Play” Martin caught up with TMZ to give more insight into LeBron’s influence and why the original release date has come and gone.

“He’s very involved,” said Martin. “He has complete ownership, to my understanding at this point. The release was supposed to be on HBO Max, July 28, and then. no one knew what happened ’cause it got pulled from the schedule. But from—I’ll leave it like this. From a very reliable source, probably don’t get no [more] reliable than this, that the King himself, that now it’s gonna be a theatrical release.”

When asked if he believed the film could be a blockbuster, Play was cautious with his answer.

“Well, it depends,” he answered. “I don’t know how people will feel about how good the film itself will be. That, itself, we’ll have to see. But all of that being said, I think it’s exciting. I think it’s exciting for Kid and I, I think it’s exciting for a new generation of actors that are involved now, but when you’re dealing with a classic, you know what I’m saying, it kind of speaks for itself.”

He went on to praise the actors in the film and looks forward to the world seeing the final product.

Ben Simmons has gone through a lot over the past year. From his falling out with the Philadelphia 76ers to his rocky start with the Brooklyn Nets, Simmons has not played a single game of basketball in quite some time. This is a very difficult predicament for the NBA star, although it is clear that he is eager to get back on the floor and show people that he can still play at an extremely high level.

As for Simmons’ personal life, he is going through a new hardship as he just ended his engagement with UK TV host and Instagram model, Maya Jama. The two had been dating for quite some time, and recently, they got engaged. Unfortunately, it seems like they realized their relationship just won’t be able to work.

As a source told the York Post, “It’s been a difficult time for them. While they both care for each other so much, they truly gave it their all and realize that they just come from two different worlds. They now understand they don’t have the time they thought to dedicate to this relationship.”

Simmons has to commit to playing basketball in the United States all year while Maya Jama has to remain overseas. This situation simply isn’t possible for the two, and now, they are ending things on good terms.

This is clearly sad for both sides, but it is good to see them splitting up on good terms.

Throughout the last few years, Josh Gordon has been through a lot when it comes to his NFL career. On numerous occasions, Gordon has broken the NFL’s drug policy, which has led to a whole host of indefinite suspensions and subsequent reinstatements. 

This is especially sad given the fact that Gordon was a spectacular NFL talent who could have been a superstar had there been any sense of consistency throughout his career. Now, he is simply a journeyman wide receiver who struggles to remain on rosters. For instance, Gordon played with the Kansas City Chiefs last year but was waived by the team on Tuesday.

Fortunately for Gordon, he has received some good news. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the wide receiver has signed a contract with the Tennesee Titans. For now, Gordon will have to deal with being on the practice squad, but with some hard work and dedication, he could find himself on the 53-man roster by the start of the NFL season, which goes down next Sunday.

Gordon is someone that many fans are rooting for, and you can’t help but hope that he ends up finding the success that eluded him in the early stages of his career.

Megan Thee Stallion keeps on going up. Shortly after the release of her new project, Traumazine, the rapper began showcasing her acting skills on the small screen. It began with her appearance on P-Valley but now, she’s made her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Last night, Megan Thee Stallion’s highly-anticipated cameo in She-Hulkbegan circulating online. Meg plays a fictionalized version of herself, as she enlists She-Hulk as her new attorney. The two twerk in She-Hulk’s office as “Body” plays in the background. “Oh, you are way more fun than my last lawyer,” Megan says, to which She-Hulk replies, “I will kill for you, Megan Thee Stallion.”

“Dial it back,” Meg responds.

The clip appears in the post-credits of the show and fans were pleasantly surprised to see the Houston Hottie appear in the show. She also made an appearance in the courtroom where she yells, “That’s right! There’s only one Megan Thee Stallion,” in the middle of a hearing. In the scene, Jennifer Walters a.k.a. She-Hulk represents her former co-worker Dennis in his lawsuit against a “Tinder Swindler” ex-girlfriend who he believes to be Megan Thee Stallion. It turns out that it’s actually an  Asgardian shapeshifter pretending to be Meg who finesses him for six-figures.

Head writer Jessica Gao told EW that it was actually Jameela Jamil, who plays Titania, who suggested Megan Thee Stallion. Prior to that, they envisioned some woman of stature, whether an actress, model, or musician, to take on the role. Gao also explained how they were adamant about capturing Megan in her full, authentic element.

“I had to keep telling [the camera operators] to tilt the camera down — get the butt,” Gao said. “Their reaction was to stay on the face, and I was like, ‘Down, down, down!'”

With Megan Thee Stallion’s debut in the MCU, we wonder if we’ll see her in the Marvel Cinematic Universe again in the future. Check out a few reactions below. 

They have quickly become one of the most volatile Hip Hop couples but Blueface and Chrisean Rock are solid. The pair have been going strong for years, but like clockwork, the couple has emerged in videos physically assaulting one another in heated, public altercations. Chrisean has been arrested multiple times since sparking her relationship with the rapper, including one for allegedly stealing his vehicle and attempting to drive across the county.

In a recent interview with TMZ, the pair promised that they would no longer engage in such violent behavior, at least not publicly, and it seems that DaniLeigh and GloRilla have a bit of advice for the hot-headed couple while chatting with Hollywood Unlocked on the MTV VMAs red carpet.

DaniLeigh knows all about the world weighing in on a famous couple’s relationship, as her rise and fall with DaBaby played out on a global stage. “You see things on the internet and then there’s real life so you never know what’s going on,” she said. “So, I just hope they stay safe and loved, and happy.”

Meanwhile, GloRilla had a few words of her own, adding that social media users and fans “be doing too much.”

“Just keep your business off the internet because everybody [is] doing the same thing they’re doing or [worse] but they just making them look bad because everybody [is] in their business,” said the rapper. “There’s people worse than them… “Just leave them folks alone.”

Tinker Hatfield’s Air Jordan 3 has stood the test of time as one of the greatest Air Jordan sneakers to ever exist. It is the shoe that helped save Michael Jordan’s relationship with Nike, and it is a model that has stood the test of time for many, many years. Heading into 2023, it appears as though this shoe will be getting some new colorways, including an old player exclusive that Michael Jordan wore while playing with the Washington Wizards.

In the image below, courtesy of @zsneakerheadz, you can see that this model has a white leather upper. As for the color-blocking, this shoe is a lot like the “True Blue” model although the main difference is that the red is replaced with Wizards gold. The blue on the midsole is also a lot glossier, which leads to a much more regal-looking shoe that longtime Wizards fans will certainly appreciate.

As it stands, this Air Jordan 3 does not yet have a release date, however, fans can expect it to drop in the Summer of 2023.
