Mariah The Scientist Shows Off Young Thug’s Romantic Gesture From Jail

The rumors about the romance between Young Thug and Mariah The Scientist have only grown thanks to her latest Twitter update. Back in November 2021, Young Thug was seen canoodling with the singer, sparking gossip about the nature of their relationship. Following that interaction, the pair took in a sports game, adding fuel to the fire, and after they appeared in a music video together, their fans seemed to accept that these two were the next “it” couple in Hip Hop.

However, the alleged budding romance hit a snag after Thug was arrested earlier this year, along with Gunna and several of their purported associates.

As we’ve previously reported, the rappers were named in a RICO indictment where they stand accused of participating in gang activity and several crimes. They have denied the allegations against them, and as both Gunna and Thugger fight their cases, Mariah has surfaced to show that a special someone has surprised her with a romantic display.

“Couldn’t ask for better,” she wrote in the caption of a photo that showed a room filled with balloons that spelled “Mrs. Sold Out Dates.” In another image, a bed had several red and pink balloons above it along with a message spelled out in rose petals.

“See U Soon Love, Jeffery,” it read. Young Thug’s real name is, of course, Jeffery Williams. It is expected that Thug will remain incarcerated until his trial, which is expected in 2023.

Elon Musk’s Dad, Errol, Says He’s Not Proud Of His Son

Elon Musk’s father, Errol Musk, admitted that he’s not proud of his son during an interview on Australia’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show, over the weekend. When asked to explain, he clarified that his family has seen accomplishments on a large scale for a long time.

“No. … I mean, we are a family that have been doing a lot of things for a long time,” he said. “It’s not as though we suddenly started doing something. So we’ve all been, you know, as a family all doing things … from the very beginning and, um, so, I mean, the kids were traveling with me around the world when they were tiny. They’ve been doing pretty much very interesting things. We’ve been down to the Amazon together, for example. We’ve been to China, you know, long ago when it was quite difficult to get there.”

Errol added that he feels his son is “not as happy as he’d like to be” because he believes he is “behind schedule.” Errol also remarked that Elon’s younger brother, Kimbal, is his “pride and joy.”

As for the lack of success in Elon’s love life, Errol added, “He has to find a woman to give up what she’s doing, and that’s not easy.”

He also briefly addressed the recent headlines about him having a baby with his stepdaughter, Jana Bezuidenhout.

“I was married to her mother for two years in the ‘90s. … She was actually placed in foster care,” he said.

Vanessa Bryant Sets Record Straight On DeMar DeRozan Nike Deal

Earlier today, it was revealed that DeMar DeRozan had signed a four-year deal with Nike. Shams Charania originally broke the story and stated that DeRozan would actually be the face of the Kobe Bryant sneaker line. Nike had just come to terms on an agreement with the Bryant estate, and it made sense to have DeRozan representing his idol.

Throughout his career, DeRozan has always worn Kobe sneakers, and it seemed like he was the defacto representative for Kobe’s sneakers. According to Vanessa Bryant, however, this is simply not the case.

In now-deleted comments on Instagram, Bryant came out and said “False. He is not the face of the Kobe line. No one is.” From there, Bryant went on to say “LOVE that he’s a Kobe supporter but the caption is false. It’s misinformation. Only Kobe is the face of his line. If that changes in the future, then I’m sure Nike and I will release a statement announcing it.”

Bryant has been very protective of Kobe’s brand and legacy since his passing, so it shouldn’t be a surprise to see her be so quick to dispel any rumors. Either way, it is clear that DeRozan is simply a Nike athlete with a particular interest in Kobe.

Southside Delivers Gritty Banger On “Whats Up”

Southside might be known for his production but every so often, he comes through with some bars. The rapper came through with some new music over the weekend with the release of “Save Me,” one of two solo tracks that he dropped on Sunday. “Save Me” finds the rapper taking center stage over sinister production with details of his bedroom fantasies.

Southside has been on a roll throughout the course of the year. Along with the release of singles like “Hold That Heat” ft. Travis Scott and Future and “Save Me” ft. Lil Durk, he also played a significant role on Future’s I Never Liked You and contributed production on Durk’s 7220

We’ll keep you posted on any more updates surrounding new music from Southside. Check his new song below.

Summer Walker Wants To Go Back To When T-Pain Was At His Peak & Lil Wayne “Had All His Locs”

This week is starting off with a walk down memory lane thanks to Summer Walker who did a bit of reminiscing. The expectant songbird has been planning her second birth as she recently announced that she and her boyfriend are pregnant with Walker’s second child, and it looks like she’s been reflecting on days of the past—when she believes the world was a more fun, laid back time.

“Take me back to when Bernie Mack & Dave Chappelle could say whatever he wanted in stand up & there was no ‘cancel culture,'” the singer wrote before adding a few more thoughts.

“To when there was no ig & every one, kids & adult had they fun outside,” she added. “Back to when people actually danced in the club. Back to when T-Pain was at the peak of his career. Back to when Lil Wayne had all his locs. Back to when lil booties mattered. Back to when I could hang up on a [ninja emoji] and my flip phone went CLACK!”

“Just take me back,” Walker concluded. Some people couldn’t tell if this was just the singer looking back or if she was working out ideas for a new song, but either way, Summer Walker received plenty of co-signs from fans who felt the same way.

Karlae & Yung Mal Join Forces On “My Type”

YSL is still keeping it pushing, despite some significant setbacks over the past few months. While Young Thug and Gunna might be locked up, artists like Karlae are still holding it down in their absence. This weekend, she served up a new single titled, “My Type.” Karlae’s latest effort showcases that she’s carving her own lane with a fusion of sultry R&B and gaudy flexes. Mal’s melodic flow perfectly meshes with the guitar-heavy production, as well as Karlae’s sing-rap flow.

Over the past few months, Karlae’s unloaded a handful of new singles in preparation of her forthcoming project including the Lil Yachty-assisted “Blind” and “Did That.”

Check her latest song below and sound off with your thoughts in the comments.

Quotable Lyrics
Flood my wrist, got it dancing in the rain
And my diamonds got moves like Jackie
Make the money flip, I jump off the ladder
Real big stepper, I don’t do no chatter
