After being one of several artists dissed in NBA YoungBoy’s single “I Hate YoungBoy” months ago, 21 Savage is speaking out. The Louisiana rapper has been under house arrest in Utah as his federal case moves forward, and back in February, he dropped the track that mentions Lil Durk, the rapper’s fiancée India Royale, Durk’s father, the late King Von, Gucci Mane, Lil Baby, the 4PF crew, and 21. It was reportedly a response to Durk’s “AHHH HA” where the Chicago rapper was said to have taken verbal aim at YoungBoy, resulting in this response.

Prior to this exchange, in an interview with DJ Akademiks last Fall, 21 Savage was asked about the ongoing beef between former friends Lil Durk and NBA YoungBoy. At the time, 21 said that many artists won’t work with YoungBoy because of their loyalty to Durk. 

“You don’t have to pick sides,” he said at the time. “But you gotta be a certain type of artist to be in the middle.” More recently, 21 Savage caught up with Math Hoffa and was asked if he has done anything on his end to put this beef to rest. 

“Nah, hell nah,” he said. Sometimes, according to Savage, situations are too far gone for others to interject. “Certain sh*t you can’t even—you don’t try… Certain sh*t, you just know, ain’t no trying.”

The Rap world has lost several artists, and it seems as if that number is increasing exponentially in recent years, so there have been ongoing calls for peace. We’re not sure if those messages have reached NBA YoungBoy and Lil Durk, but considering that they are both still battling serious court cases, their peers want the two to put it all behind them.

The MTV Movie & TV Awards have come to an end for another year, but that doesn’t mean we’re quite ready to quit talking about the host’s outstanding outfit selection just yet. If you didn’t tune into last night’s show, you missed an incredible display of fashion via High School Musical starlet Vanessa Hudgens, who rocked everyone from Versace to Valentino.

The 33-year-old began the evening in a beautiful blue Vera Wang dress, featuring a dramatic train that was beautifully blessed by the breeze which happened to be blowing yesterday evening. Over on Instagram, Hudgens gave a shoutout to Mother Nature for assisting her and the custom look.

She kicked off the ceremony by letting her hair down, allowing the long, luscious locks to cover her shoulders – but not her glittery gold mini dress, which was paired with matching metallic platform sandals and simple accessories.

Versace was next on the docket for the “Say OK” songstress, who donned a two-piece set consisting of a baroque bandana bralet and a safety-pinned skirt before slipping into something more comfortable as she paid homage to the wildly popular Netflix original series, Squid Game.

Another series that Hudgens showed love for was HBO’s Euphoria, channelling Sydney Sweeney’s character Cassie Howard in a pale blue floral dress, a matching gingham top, and a cowboy hat, as well as braided pigtails to complete the look.

Following that, she caught everyone’s attention in a shockingly pink piece from Valentino, which she matched with a pair of towering seven-inch tall pumps, and for her final look of the evening, she appeared to pay tribute to Selina Kyle of The Batman, who was most recently portrayed by Zoë Kravitz.

Months after revealing that he was on a sobriety journey, YBN Nahmir has gone viral after getting into an argument with a troll. The YBN rapper has been going through major changes within the last few years, especially as his comrades Cordae and Almighty Jay have dropped the YBN from their monikers. The trio has stated that they’re still like brothers, aside from the occasional online spat, but for industry reasons, they had to make adjustments to move forward with their careers. 

Meanwhile, we haven’t heard much from Nahmir in recent months as he has reportedly been sorting out his personal life, but a few DMs caused him to become a trending topic after he allegedly threatened to shoot up someone’s mother’s house.

“You’re from Fort Worth, let’s be honest. I’m from North Long Beach,” Nahmir reportedly said in an audio clip sent via DM. “Like n*gga do you filthy like really beat your motherf*ckin’ ass. N*gga, all that lifting weights and all that is out that sh*t do not matter [laughs]. Really f*ck that bro, and I’ll just shoot you in your face right after cuz, like.”

In another clip, he added, “I’ll come to Forth Worth and beat your ass and shoot your mama house up, dude. Be honest with yourself.”

After she and her sisters took over Italy in their gorgeous Dolce & Gabbana designer outfits for Kourtney Kardashian’s wedding to Travis Barker, Kim K’s feed has returned to business as usual, which means plenty of Balenciaga.

On Sunday, June 5th, the 41-year-old returned with a new carousel for her 316M followers – this one captured by a very special photographer. “Pics by North,” she wrote in the caption, crediting her 8-year-old eldest child as the camerawoman who captured the impromptu at-home shoot.

Though recent uploads have seen her ready for vacation (and even rocking a teensy tiny g-string bikini on the beach), this time around Kardashian opted to cover most of her body, pulling on some skin-tight Balenciaga leggings and a cropped zipper-front hoodie in the same hue.

She carried one of the brand’s signature hourglass bags – also pink – in her hand, and protected her eyes from the camera’s flash with some silver sunglasses. As Page Six notes, The Kardashians star wore an identical outfit in a different colour scheme during her trip to London with boyfriend Pete Davidson last month.

Speaking of Davidson, he and his socialite girlfriend appear to be getting increasingly serious, as he was just spotted on a solo shopping trip in Los Angeles with her 6-year-old son Saint West, who held the Saturday Night Live alum’s hand as they navigated The Grove together before grabbing a bite to eat at The Cheesecake Factory.

It’s Gemini season and celebrities are showing off how their ringing in their birthdays in style. Kanye West, Johnny Depp, Kendrick Lamar, Ice Cube, Lauryn Hill, and several others will be celebrating another year around the sun during this time, as is Vic Mensa who has decided to spend some time taking in the beautiful sites in Colombia. 

Back in December, comedian Tiffany Haddish and a few friends visited Colombia as she did it big for her 42nd birthday, and while we’re sure the partying was epic, Mensa shared a few photos of his vacation as he lounged, relaxed, and freestyled while walking the streets.

On Instagram, the multifaceted Roc Nation artist dropped off several envy-worthy photos as he took in ocean views during a boat ride and, well, other views of a lady friend kicking back in a jacuzzi. Mensa also added a brief clip of him walking down the street as someone with a radio played beats while dropping a few bars to show off their skills. 

Mensa joined in to have a bit of fun, and when we asked him about the exchange, he joked that it was a regular “battle.”

It seems as if Blueface always has some drama surrounding him and often, it involves the women in his life. For years, there has been contention between Blueface and his family, most notably his mother and sister. Years ago, we reported on the physical altercation that resulted in several videos being shared online after the rapper allegedly kicked his sister out of his home by pushing her down the stairs. Although they reconciled after that disagreement, a more recent, violent altercation took place.

Blueface’s girlfriend-non-girlfriend Chrisean Rock reported beat up not only Blueface’s mother but his sister as well. There were reports that others were involved in the incident, resulting in the sister’s husband allegedly being jumped and knocked out.

Just when you thought there wouldn’t be any more updates about this situation, the sister, Kali, returned to say that her husband left her. Later, Blueface’s mother, Karlissa Saffold, reacted, stating that it wasn’t her fault that her son-in-law decided to end his marriage. She also noted some accusations that her daughter has made against her.

“It’s not my fault he played sleep while they beat you up,” she wrote. “It’s not my fault he took out over there. My husband bought you 2 cars after that pretend husband wrecked them. How dare you lie and say he would have me sleep in a car. Now you have no dad again [face palm emoji][shrug emoji].”

“I sacrificed 10 times more than most of y’all mommas. I’m not giving no Fs about none of these kids. Spoiled and ungrateful. Hell I still clean ALL they tooms and wash ALL they clothes,” she added. “It’s time for momma to have a life. Take care of y’all own dogs, kids, and homes. I’m out [praying hands emoji] I quit.”
