Lamar Odom Is Reportedly Open To Dating Taraji P. Henson Again

He has already spoken about his time dating Taraji P. Henson over a decade ago, but there is more than Lamar Odom has to say about his equally as famous ex. The former Los Angeles Lakers icon is known for his marriage to Khloé Kardashian as they put their romance on display and even wed on reality television, but not everyone was privy to the knowledge that Odom broke up with Henson to be with his ex-wife.

Because Odom has been so open about all facets of his past and subsequent recovery following a near-death experience, when Page Six caught up with the sports icon, they decided to ask him if he would rekindle with a former partner. Specifically, they wanted to know of all of the women he’s dated, which he would reunite with if he had the chance.

According to the outlet, Odom chose Henson.

“Because I love Taraji. It’s a love thing. It’s about who you love,” he said. Odom and Kardashian reportedly dated for only three weeks prior to tying the knot. “Taraji is a cool girl. Matter fact she’s here [in L.A.]. I got to see her at the BET Awards… Maybe I’ll get to shoot my shot at her again.”

He was said to have added, “I think the difference between Taraji and Khloé is how they was brought up. Their upbringing, which makes people different and [affects] the way they think. I think Taraji is more skillful in what she does as an actress compared to what Khloé does.” Yet, he reportedly told the outlet that Kardashian was “a great wife.”

In other Lamar Odom news, you can find him on the brand new season of Celebrity College Hill airing on BET+. Check out a few teasers for the series below.

Ariana Grande’s Stalker Breaks Into Her Home: Report

For years, Ariana Grande has been subjected to fans that often get a little too close for comfort. Entertainers know all too well about fans who don’t respect personal boundaries—from people who run up to them in the streets to others who show up on their doorsteps. Back in 2020, Grande began making headlines over a particular stalker who not only wouldn’t leave her alone but would also harass her mother, as well.

Later, a temporary restraining order would become more permanent after a judge ordered it to be effective for five years, but that hasn’t stopped one man from making repeated threats.

According to TMZ, back in September, Aharon Brown was arrested after he reportedly showed up at Grande’s home, armed with a “large hunting knife” and spewing frightening threats. He allegedly told the singer’s security, “I’ll f*cking kill you and her” when he wasn’t given access to the Los Angeles residence and once the police responded to the scene, he was taken into custody.

Although a restraining order against him has been set in stone, Brown showed up at Grande’s Montecito home over the weekend on her 29th birthday. “He was supposed to turn himself in Tuesday for violating the restraining order, but Sunday he traveled to Montecito and broke into her house,” stated the outlet.

It is unclear how Brown gained entrance, but it was noted that Grande wasn’t home. He faces “charges of stalking, burglary, damaging power lines, violation of a court order and obstruction.”

Brown has reportedly pleaded not guilty to the charges but remains in police custody at this time.

French Montana, Harry Fraud, & Rick Ross Light Up On “Kind Of Girl”

Joint albums that arrive when rappers and producers team up are widely celebrated in Hip Hop, and days ago, French Montana and Harry Fraud finally shared with the world their full project. French and Fraud delivered Montega, a record that takes a step back from the sounds that have taken over Rap in recent years and instead, highlights productions that bleed New York City.

Features on Montega are nothing to mess with as the joint project features looks from Chinx, Quavo, EST Gee, Babyface Ray, Benny The Butcher, Jadakiss, and Rick Ross. Rozay’s addition to “Kind of Girl” was definitely a song that fans took to social media about, so it only made sense that we highlight this vibe.

This track features a stellar sample of “Since I First Laid Eyes On You” by Lou Courtney, so stream “Kind of Girl” and share your thoughts.

Billie Eilish And Finneas Received An Invitation To Join The Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences

Three months ago, Billie Eilish and Finneas both won their first Oscar award after they took home the trophy for Best Original Song thanks to “No Time To Die.” The feat joined Billie and Finneas’ past Grammy wins, putting them halfway towards securing the coveted EGOT title, something Jennifer Hudson recently did. As they continue to work on that, the successful duo may now assume a new role with The Academy. Billie and Finneas were two of 397 artists and executives that were recently invited to join The Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences.

The news was shared by Deadline, which said that this year’s class includes 71 Oscar nominees and 15 winners, with 44% being women and 37% coming from underrepresented communities. The grand total of 397 invites is two more than last year’s class which was preceded by a jump in membership as The Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences worked to diversify its rolls and expand its international footprint following the #OscarsSoWhite backlash in 2015.

Other invitees to the 2022 class include actors Caitríona Balfe, Jamie Dornan, Jesse Buckley, Michael Greyeyes, Olga Merediz, and writers Zach Baylin, Jeremy O Harris, Adele Lim, and Jon Spaihts.

In addition to winning Best Original Song for “No Time To Die,” Billie and Finneas also performed the song at the 2022 Oscars, and prior to that, they won a Critics Choice Award for it.

Jimmie Allen Taps T-Pain & Cee-Lo Green For Summer-Ready “Pesos”

Days ago, multi-platinum-selling country star Jimmie Allen shared his latest album Tulip Drive (via Stoney Creek Records/BBR Music Group), and the standout singer-songwriter featured a track that caught the attention of Hip Hop. The summer-ready song “Pesos” hosted looks from none other than icons T-Pain and CeeLo Green, so, of course, fans of all three artists quickly placed the track on heavy rotation.

The recent Grammy nominee previously spoke about pulling from and being inspired by his life experiences while crafting Tulip Drive—even sharing that the album’s title was derived from the street his late grandmother grew up on.

“A lot of the songs on this album are from that time period. This is the first album where a lot of the songs are actually written based off a lot of my own personal life experiences – from relationships, the hardships of life, to the parties & the good times,” said Allen. “A lot of these songs are based off things I went through when I was in later in high school and college, at a place where I was just learning a lot of life lessons from my grandmother. I wanted to honor her by naming this album Tulip Drive, after the street she lived on in Lewes, DE.”

This is a light-hearted, fun song that is perfect for a vacation or party playlist for those looking to dance and release all of their cares. Stream Jimmie Allen’s “Pesos” featuring CeeLo and T-Pain and let us know what you think.

Quotable Lyrics

They say that happiness, that your money can’t buy it (Happiness, can’t buy it)
Well, I’m still gonna try it

Candace Owens Calls T.I. A “Fraud” & “Goon” Over 2019 Revolt Summit Panel

Things got a tad spicy back in 2019 when the Revolt Summit hosted a panel focused on varying issues about Black culture, politics, and Donald Trump’s agenda. Activism, politics, and entertainment collided on the stage that featured  T.I., Killer Mike, Candace Owens, Steven Pargett, Katrina Pierson, and Tamika D Mallory. It made for quite the discussion, especially as Owens is an avid Trump supporter and often speaks out against the Black community, so when she faced off with T.I., things became tense.

It looks as if Owens has reflected on that time during her sit down with DJ Akademiks for his Off The Record Podcast, and in a clip shared online, she opened by calling T.I. a “fraud.”

“That situation got me so angry because T.I. was the only person that I knew prior to stepping onto that stage,” said Owens. She claimed that she and the rapper actually met a year before Revolt Summit through Kanye West. “We had spoken on the phone for like, hours on the phone about what our opinions are politically.” Akademiks poked the bear by suggesting that T.I. was giving Owens a hard time.

“It was crazy because when I spoke to him on the phone he was like, ‘I agree with you on this, I agree with you on this,’ agreed on everything we talked about. No debate. The only thing he said was, ‘I just can’t behind Trump.’ That was the only thing he ever said on the phone. ‘I can’t get behind Trump.’ Every other topic, we talked about Black America, he agreed with, he was so kind.”

However, Owens claimed that when it came to meeting face to face on stage, things took a turn.

“He turned into a performer!… So, I say now, T.I. is a fraud, he is a very little man physically and mentally, he’s a small man. To do that for what?” Owens accused T.I. of “halting” a serious conversation that day “by acting like a goon.”

We can only wonder about how the self-proclaimed King of the South will respond. Check out the clip of Owens below as well as the Revolt Summit discussion.

Xzibit Accuses Viacom Of Owing Him Major Stacks From “Pimp My Ride”

By now, many of us have heard about the illusion that was once Pimp My Ride. The hit series aired for six seasons back in the mid-2000s on MTV and featured rapper Xzibit as the host of the customized car show. Every day people would turn over their vehicles, all of which were on their last legs, and depending on the season, West Coast Customs or Galpin Auto Sports would turn the rides into unbelievable works of driveable art. However, long after the show concluded in 2007, secrets about Pimp My Ridebegan to unfold, including revelations about cars becoming inoperable because the customized work wasn’t usable.

Xzibit is revisiting his time on Pimp My Ride, but not because he’s looking back at fond memories. The Rap icon uploaded to Instagram what looked to be paperwork from his time on the series and alleged that there is still money owed to him.

“While I’m at it, hey @viacom_intl why is it you’ve made millions off the show #PimpMyRide I carried on my back and and found ways to cut me out?” Xzibit questioned in his caption. “Like saying I would get percentages of all merch sold let alone streaming(which wasn’t even in the contract) and putting in the fine print ‘with my name and likeness’ then proceed to take my ‘name and likeness’ off of ALL the merchandise including dvd sales after season 1? To top that you guys went back and EDITED all of my music out of ALL entire seasons in order to avoid paying me for my publishing.”

“Let’s talk about worldwide syndication!!!! Wow. Hey, guys, my number is still the same. Hit me up. Or…… Can anybody hit me with a law firm who isn’t afraid of Viacom to get me right? Robert M. Bakish President of Paramount Global @mtv.”

No word on if Viacom has responded to Xzibit’s complaints. Check out the rapper’s post below.
