Kendrick Lamar’s Fiancée Shares Father’s Day Tribute To The “Mr. Morale” Rapper

Kendrick Lamar’s fiancée, Whitney Alford, published a lengthy tribute to the Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers rapper on Instagram, Sunday, in honor of Father’s Day. Last weekend also marked Lamar’s 35th birthday.

“Today I am more than happy to celebrate the men in my life,” Alford began the caption for the post. “I choose to celebrate them for stepping up instead of stepping out, for providing, for assisting us women, for healing, for showing up physically and most importantly for showing up emotionally.”

The post includes a picture of Alford and Lamar with their two children.

She continued: “In my life I’ve witnessed a great majority of father’s run from their responsibilities. I now understand that they were running from their own pain but children were left behind. I understand they couldn’t properly communicate with women so kids suffered the consequence of their absence. I understand they needed validation and most times it was sought after outside of the home. And it was quite painful for all of us who knew this upbringing.”

Lamar and Alford began dating while attending Centennial High School and have remained together throughout the many years since. They got engaged in April 2015 and welcomed their first child in July 2019.

“I was almost 30 the first time I celebrated Father’s Day and it’s still one of the hardest for me.” Alford went on. “I know there are many women like me. So men it’s not as important for us to celebrate you, as it is for You to celebrate You. Celebrate your contribution to the next generation. I am grateful for the men that are showing me a different picture, my lens was very narrow before but not anymore.”

Kyrie Irving Reacts To Nets & Lakers Rumors With Cryptic Tweet

Kyrie Irving is a player who marches to the beat of his own drum. In fact, some fans have made the joke that Kyrie treats the NBA like a part-time job and that he doesn’t care about how much time he misses. While that may come as a fun joke to some, it is no laughing matter for the Brooklyn Nets who are ultimately the ones who lose out in this situation.

Today, a report from Shams Charania showcased just how much Kyrie and the Nets don’t see eye-to-eye. Both sides are negotiating a new deal and as it turns out, they have hit an “impasse.” It seems like Kyrie wants a long-term deal, while the Nets are not prepared to give him that.

Now, there are rumors that the Los Angeles Lakers or New York Knicks could be players for Kyrie. This news has shaken up the NBA today, and now, Kyrie is giving his reaction. As you can see in the tweet below, Kyrie posted a three-second video that doesn’t really say much of anything. The timing here is obvious, and it seems like the Nets superstar is simply amused by everything that is being said right now.

This is a developing story, so stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest news and updates from around the NBA world.

Ace Hood has been a source of motivation through his catalog. And this year, he’s taking his career to new heights. He’s recently gone independent and dropped off M.I.N.D. earlier this year, which he described as the first part of a new series titled, A Hero’s Journey. And while he’s only a few months removed from his last project, he’s already unloading new music to hold fans down with in the coming months.

Over the weekend, Ace Hood dropped off his latest single, “Energy,” and it’s a record for his day-one fans. Ace flexes his lyrical dexterity on the record over head-spinning production. It’s a head-bopping banger but its also a record that speaks towards remaining positive no matter the circumstances.

The latest from Ace Hood is expected to appear on his forthcoming project, Body.

Young man fresh from the jump back
Energy feel like contact, it’s that pack

Nipsey Hussle’s Family Launches Marijuana Dispensary In L.A.

Nipsey Hussle’s family is opening a licensed marijuana store in Los Angeles called The Marathon Collective. A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the store was held on Saturday in Canoga Park.

Hussle’s brother, Samiel “Blacc Sam” Asghedom, told CBS News that the late rapper had always dreamed of opening a legal cannabis store.

“Marijuana, a lot of times people were going to jail,” Blacc Sam told the outlet. “Once it started legitimizing, it was a goal… We got to get into this legitimately.”

He added that Hussle “looked at it like alcohol during Prohibition. This is something that Hussle wanted — that we wanted. I’m just happy to be able to open it up.”

Blacc Sam also explained that opening the store “was good for the whole family.”

Hussle and his brother’s passion for marijuana was recently documented in The Marathon Cultivation, a short 35-minute film uploaded to YouTube in honor of the opening of The Marathon Collective.

Speaking with CBS News, Blacc Sam also discussed the family’s decision not to attend the trial of Hussle’s alleged murderer, Eric Holder.

“I will say that I got somebody there on our end,” Nipsey’s brother shared. “A lawyer just kind of sending me the feedback so I can stay on top of what’s happening day-to-day. My mother and grandmother will ask me questions so I’ll give them the feedback.”

The Marathon Collective is located at 7011 Canoga Ave, Canoga Park, CA.
