Bill Cosby Found Liable, Jury Rules He Did Sexually Assault Teen In 1975: Report

Some people scoffed at Bill Cosby going to trial over allegations of sexual assault from the 1970s, but a jury thought otherwise. The disgraced comedian has been facing an onslaught of accusations that span decades as dozens of women have come forward with their stories. These alleged victims include women in and out of the entertainment industry, from models to actresses to those involved in college sports.

In this most recent civil case, a woman named Judy Huth alleged that she first met Cosby when he was filming a movie at a park. The then-teenage Huth would reportedly go on to befriend the then 38-year-old Cosby, who invited her to her certain events and parties.

Huth alleged that she and a friend went with Cosby to a tennis club before the comedian invited the young ladies to his house where he served them alcoholic drinks. Huth was reportedly 16 at the time, and after the trio had drinks, Cosby allegedly took the girls to the Playboy Mansion where he was said to have told them to tell everyone they were 19.

While there, Huth accused Cosby of taking her to a room on the vast property and sexually assaulting her. She first brought forth her allegations back in 2014.

A 12-person jury handed down a verdict today and, according to CNN, found that Cosby did assault the then-teen and “awarded Huth $500,000 in damages. No punitive compensation was awarded.” While this would commonly be seen as a defeat, Cosby’s attorney Andrew Wyatt isn’t too concerned because Huth didn’t receive the punitive damages that she sought.

Ari Lennox Explains Delay In Releasing Sophomore Album

Beloved Dreamville songbird Ari Lennox’s single “Pressure” is still an R&B jam that her fans continue to stream non-stop, but truth be told, the world is waiting on more music. It was back in 2019 when Lennox delivered her applauded Shea Butter Baby debut project, and while we haven’t necessarily been without anything new since that time, the singer’s dedicated fan base wants more.

Over on Twitter, fans thrive on firing off tweets to and about their favorite artists, and Ari Lennox found herself in the crossfire. A fan wrote, “I’m blaming the label for not releasing the album at this point. I know it’s done. They’re tripping.”

However, Ari let her supporter know that Dreamville & Co. isn’t necessarily at fault. Like many of her peers, Ari claimed that it was her need to create the perfect project that may be causing a bit of a delay.

“Boyeeee it’s me,” she said. “I’m a baby perfectionist. She’s not ready yet [heart eyes emoji][red heart emoji]. My sophomore baby is coming soon.”

That’s about all the information the singer was giving up, so it’s unclear when that anticipated album will arrive. Still, her fans seem to understand that as a creative, things take time. This news comes not long after Lennox announced that she would no longer be traveling by airplane as it is a fear of hers, so if a show requires her to fly, she won’t make it.

Travis Scott Shows Off $5.5 Million Bugatti

Travis Scott is pushing a multi-million dollar whip.

The “Hold That Heat” rapper was spotted driving through his home of Brentwood, Calif. on Tuesday in a new Bugatti Veyron Chiron Super Sport. The rare sports car, which has a top speed of over 300 mph, starts at $3.5 million, but according TMZ, Travis’ ride cost a whopping $5.5 million. Only 30 of the vehicles were made.

Travis gave fans a peek of his pricey new whip, posting a photo of the steering wheel and blue interior while in the driver’s seat.

Meanwhile, he continues to face numerous lawsuits over the deadly Astroworld festival, where 10 people died and hundreds more were injured following a crowd surge.

Travis has been slowly returning to the spotlight since the November tragedy. He performed at the Billboard Music Awards last month and will headline his first festival since Astroworld at Day N Vegas in Las Vegas in September.

He also continues to work on his long-awaited album Utopia and drop a series of Nike collaborations. His Cactus Corp. Air Trainer 1 received over 1 million raffle entries in just 30 minutes when it launched last month, a sign that his star power hasn’t waned.

French Montana, Jadakiss, And Benny The Butcher Walk Through With ‘Bricks & Bags’ On Their New Collab

In just a few days, French Montana will release his fifth album Montega, an effort that is produced entirely by Harry Fraud. The project will arrive just seven months after French released his fourth album They Got Amnesia, a 21-track effort that featured appearances from Rick Ross, Kodak Black, Pop Smoke, Lil Durk, Doja Cat, Saweetie, Fivio Foreign, Ty Dolla Sign, Moneybagg Yo, and many more. Before Montega, French and Harry decided to drop off one more single, this one being “Bricks & Bags” with Jadakiss and Benny The Butcher.

The new record is carried by a hook that Jadakiss and Benny repeat throughout the song, as they rap, “I should’ve signed to Coke Boys, but I was selling dope, boy.” Together, Benny, French, and Jadakiss deliver sharp verses on the song in that order as they all rap with confidence over the Harry Fraud-produced beat.

“Bricks & Bags” follows “Blue Chills” which French released last week. The release is one of four singles from Montega as French previously shared “Drive By” with Babyface Ray and “Alcatraz.”

You can listen to “Bricks & Bags” in the video above.

Montega is out 6/24 via Epic Records. You can pre-order it here.

Jennifer Lopez Uses Gender Neutral Pronouns During Duet With 14-Year-Old Child Emme

Jennifer Lopez’s kids may only be 14 years old, but they’re already doing incredible things, like dueting with their superstar mom onstage in Los Angeles.

As Page Six reports, the Hustlers actress tapped one of her twins, Emme, to sing alongside her at the Dodgers Foundation’s Blue Diamond Gala, and patrons couldn’t help but notice how deliberate Lopez was in using they/them pronouns while introducing her child.

“I ask them to sing with me all the time but they won’t, so this is a very special occasion because they’re very, very busy and booked and pricey,” the Grammy Award-winner teased ahead of her rendition of Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years” with the talented teenager.

“They cost me when they come out,” she kept joking, “They’re worth every single penny because they’re my favourite duet partner of all time. So if you would indulge me.”

While most of the attention was focused on their singing, the duo also wowed with their outfit selections for the evening. While Emme paired an oversized hot pink shirt and shorts with a black hat and boots of the same colour, their mom rocked a feather-trim-covered turquoise ensemble.

Kim K “Consulted Multiple Therapists” Before Introducing Pete Davidson To Her Kids

For Kim Kardashian, the decision to walk away from her marriage to Kanye West wasn’t an easy one, though the 41-year-old appears to be much happier for it.

On Tuesday, June 21st, the reality star appeared on The Today Show, and during her interview, she opened up about her budding relationship with Pete Davidson, and how she navigated life as a single woman after being tied down for so long.

According to the SKIMS founder, waiting until six months into her relationship with the 28-year-old comedian to let him meet her four children was incredibly important. “Luckily I have a sister that’s been through it all and we talked about it,” she shared, speaking on Kourtney Kardashian’s situation with Scott Disick and their three shared children in the wake of their split.

“I consulted with a few therapists and friends that have been through it,” the California native added. “Different things work for different people. You just have to do what’s right and try to be as respectful and cautious as possible.”

Following her tumultuous split from Ye, Kim said she “waited a good 10 months” before she felt ready to put herself out there again. “I think you definitely need that time to yourself,” she declared.

“But once you’re ready to get out there, I felt like I just wanted new energy and something different. [The relationship] definitely took me by surprise.

While things have been just peachy in paradise with Pete, the media mogul was also spotted reconnecting with her ex at their eldest, North West’s basketball game near Thousand Oaks just a few days ago – read more about that here, and tap back in with HNHH later for more pop culture news updates.
