Tyreek Hill Recieving Death Threats Due To Mahomes Comments

New wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins Tyreek Hill sparked outrage from fans of his former team, the Kansas City Chiefs, when he called his new quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, “more accurate” than his former quarterback, Patrick Mahomes. Now, the Georgia native says he has received multiple death threats from irate fans across his social media accounts on his podcast It Needed To Be Said

“Every social media account I own, I got death threats on,” the 28-year-old former Super Bowl champ said. “Which is ridiculous.”

Hill said that some of his statements were taken out of context. “They really didn’t see what I said,” Hill said. “A lot of people are just acting off emotion”

Mahomes himself said he was “surprised” by the comments, but Hill made it clear in Tuesday’s podcast that he still respects his former teammate, and was just trying to build a connection with his new one.

“We all know Patrick Mahomes is great,” Hill said. “We know that. We know that. But, right now, I’m going into a new season with a new quarterback who’s trying to head in the same direction as Patrick and do great things and lead this team to a Super Bowl championship, who’s also great, in my opinion. He just doesn’t have the accolades of yet. I believe in him.”

Anthony Davis For Kyrie Irving Trade Rumor Gets A Reality Check

With the NBA offseason set to go down on June 30th, the rumors have been getting out of hand. For instance, there are now reports circulating that the Brooklyn Nets and Kyrie Irving are going to go their separate ways, which could very well lead to a sign and trade. Other reports have stated that Kyrie and the Nets are looking for a solution, but the internet seems glued to the more dramatic scenario.

In fact, one of the trade rumors that is floating around is how the Los Angeles Lakers might trade Anthony Davis for Kyrie Irving. This would be a massive trade, although it doesn’t make much sense when you consider the unique relationships that LeBron has with AD and Kyrie, respectively.

On the most recent episode of his podcast, ESPN insider Zach Lowe spoke about a potential AD and Kyrie Irving trade, noting that people should get that idea out of their heads.

“I’ve been told in no uncertain terms Anthony Davis is not getting traded,” Lowe said. “So let’s get that out of the way, let alone [traded] for Kyrie Irving.”

Kim Kardashian Reveals Kanye West Came Up With “SKKN” Design

Kim Kardashian is one of the busiest figures in the fashion world right now, with her “SKIMS” clothing brand and “SKKN” skincare line gaining more notoriety and fame every day. In a recent Instagram video where she showed off the BTS creative process for SKKN, complete with mood boards and packaging models, Kim spoke about how her estranged ex-husband, Kanye West provided creative input for her brands.

“And of course, my creative process wouldn’t have been complete, and I always give credit where credit is due, without Kanye, without Ye,” said the 41-year-old icon. “He brought his team and introduced me to Willow and we came up with the new name, that was actually his idea and the packaging shapes were his and even the fonts he did just like SKIMS.”

It’s interesting to see Kim give Ye props for his contributions, especially given the two’s tumultuous divorce process and various social media battles and controversies. Still, the Kardashian mogul has a few controversies of her own to handle when it comes to SKKN, including a 2021 cease and desist from Beauty Concepts LLC over the brand name and criticisms that it is too similar to Lori Harvey’s “SKN by LH” brand. Some fans have even claimed that she only gave Kanye credit so he would take the fall for these issues.

Whatever the case, Kim gave credit where credit was due, and amid so much news about their break-up and how it’s affecting them, at least it seems they are there for each other in the business sense. Check out the video clip from Kim’s IG stream below.

An Emotional Robin S. Thanks Beyoncé Profusely For Being Sampled On ‘Break My Soul’

“Show Me Love” by Robin S. isn’t just a banger: It’s one of the ultimate 90s house bangers. The diva house classic dominated top-40 radio when it came out in 1990 and has maintained its pizzazz in the 30-plus years since. The remixes and then the remixes of the remixes are still dancefloor staples at clubs around the world because Robin S. brought pure heat to the thunderous groove. And now as we begin to reckon with hip-hop’s inevitable shift towards dance music production thanks to Drake’s surprise dance music album, Honestly, Nevermind, and Beyoncé’s surprise single, “Break My Soul,” it’s time to give credit to innovators like Robin S. when it’s due.

This is exactly what Beyoncé did on “Break My Soul.” The “Crazy In Love” star’s new track uses the infectious stem from “Show Me Love” throughout her new single and it’s just the greatest hat tip imaginable to Robin S. In a recent video that surfaced of Robin S., she’s over the moon at the inclusion of her hit on what’s sure to be one of this summer’s biggest pop music hits.

“This is Robin S. and this message goes out to the Queen Bey herself, Beyoncé,” the emotional singer said in the clip. “To Jay-Z, to the entire team… Thank you so much for giving me my flowers while I’m still alive. I am honored and I am excited to see what else can happen.”

Robin S. said her son called her to say that she was “trending all over the place,” and that even though she was not contacted ahead of time before “Show Me Love” was sampled in “Break My Soul,” she added, “Maybe we can do a collab together. That’s always a dream.”

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Shades Three-Point Shooters While Flexing Scoring Record

Los Angeles Lakers legend and the NBA’s all time leading scorer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar went on the “Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” earlier this week, where he reminded everyone watching that he still holds the top spot on the scoring list in hilarious fashion.

This came after Fallon asked the 6-time NBA champion how the game has changed since his time in the league in the 70s and 80s. Abdul-Jabbar responding saying how the game is much different from when he played, and voiced his disapproval of how basketball has changed.

“Not like that, there were good three point shooters, back then you might get ten three point shots in a game, now there are 10 three point shots in a quarter. It seems like today it’s a three-point shooting contest.”

Kareem scored 38,387 points over the course of his career with the Lakers and the Milwaukee Bucks. He currently holds a 1,000 point cushion on the second all time leading scorer and fellow member of the Lakers organization LeBron James. James could overtake Abdul-Jabbar next season. In the 2021-2022 season, James finished with 1,695 points, so if he can replicate the success he found last season, King James can earn himself another crown.

Abdul-Jabbar has had one of the most decorated careers in sports history. Prior to joining the NBA, he won three NCAA titles with the University of California Los Angeles, and added two Player of the Year awards to his resume. He joined the NCAA Hall of Fame in 2007.

But his deeper impact came in the NBA. Along with his six championship rings, Abdul-Jabbar’s trophy case is filled with six NBA MVP Awards, the most by any single player, 11 All-Defensive team selections, 15 All-NBA team selections, and is currently ranked third on ESPN’s ranking of the 75 best NBA players of all time.

Former Commanders Player Slams Dan Snyder In Scathing Tweet

Former linebacker for the Washington Commanders Su’a Cravens took to Twitter Wednesday morning to put Commanders owner Dan Snyder on blast amid multiple legal battles against the Commanders organization.

The Commanders have been the focus of an investigation and hearing from Congress due to allegations of sexual assault and harassment, which Snyder backed out of due to a “buisness conflict.” Controversy grew Tuesday morning, as a woman accused Snyder of asking her for sex and groping her in a private area of one of the team’s private planes. Amid the growing swarms of scandals, Snyder is now under attack from one of his former players.

Cravens, who was drafted by the team in the second round back in 2016, called Snyder a “poor excuse for a human being.” Snyder has been in command at Washington since 1999, and Cravens expressed his desire for that tenure to end.

Cravens played just two seasons in the NFL after piling up injuries, being traded by Washington to the Broncos to finish his career in 2018. Since leaving the NFL, Cravens has taken up broadcasting, working for his alma mater, the University of Southern California’s football radio broadcast show. Cravens played three seasons at USC before declaring for the draft. In his three seasons, he racked up over 130 tackles, nine interceptions, 10.5 sacks, and four forced fumbles. He was named a team captain his junior year.
