NBA Teams Think Kyrie Walking From Nets Would Lead To KD Trade

With the NBA free agency period right around the corner, we now have rumors circulating in regards to none other than Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets. He is looking to sign a new deal with the team, and it appears as though both sides are at odds right now. Kyrie wants a long-term deal, and the Nets don’t want to give him one as Irving has some of the most inconsistent attendance records in the league.

This could lead to some trouble for the Nets, as having Kyrie walk would be a disaster. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Los Angeles Lakers would be the most aggressive team to go after Kyrie, and we’re sure LeBron would love to see it happen after Russell Westbrook was such a disaster.

Now, however, the Nets could be facing an even bigger problem. As Woj reported on ESPN today, Kyrie walking could lead to serious issues with Kevin Durant. In fact, many teams believe KD would demand a trade if Kyrie were to leave the team. That would leave the Nets without a single superstar, except for Ben Simmons, who hasn’t shown any desire to play the game of basketball over the last year.

This is a developing story that should get a lot more interesting once the offseason begins eight days from now. Until then, stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest news and updates.

Kevin Durant Gets Back At Colin Cowherd, 15 Years Later

When Kevin Durant was drafted back in 2007, he was mostly going up against Greg Oden to become the first overall pick. Eventually, the Portland Trail Blazers took Oden with that first pick, which allowed Durant to go to the Seattle Supersonics, who eventually became the Oklahoma City Thunder. In retrospect, that was one of the worst decisions in the history of the NBA as Oden could never get any momentum going due to injury problems.

At the time, Durant had raised suspicion from scouts as his combine numbers were less than ideal. He was unable to bench 185 pounds during his workout, and his speed was slow compared to Oden’s. This eventually led to a scathing rant from Colin Cowherd, who went on his radio show and slandered KD into oblivion.

Recently, this rant resurfaced on social media, and it eventually went semi-viral. In fact, the tweet was big enough for Kevin Durant to see. KD loves engaging in discourse on Twitter, and one can imagine he was licking his chops to say something here.

In the end, that is exactly what he did as he mentioned Cowherd, saying “Can I take a victory lap or I gotta wait until I retire?”

Cowherd’s take is one of the all-time bad takes in sports radio history. Oden never even played a full season’s worth of basketball while KD is on his way to being among the top five players to ever step on the court.

YG Announces New Single Ft. Tyga, BIA & 21 Savage

For the better part of the past 10 years, YG has managed to have the clubs ringing off every single summer. Whether it’s a politically charged album like “FDT” or a strip club banger like “Big Bank,” there really hasn’t been summer since the release of My Krazy Life where YG’s voice hasn’t echoed through radio stations and club speakers.

Earlier this year, YG slid through with his latest record, “Scared Money” featuring Moneybagg Yo and J. Cole. Now, he’s gunning for the summer with another massive collaboration. The rapper his Instagram where he announced his forthcoming record “Run” featuring BIA, 21 Savage, and Tyga. Though he hasn’t unveiled a snippet, the combination of artists alone is a promising sign that it’s about to be a smash.

It’s been roughly two years since YG unveiled his last solo studio album, My 4Hunnid Life. However, 2021 was still an eventful year. He dropped off a new 4Hunnid compilation record, 4Hunnid Presents: Gang Affiliated. Then, he joined forces with Mozzy for their joint project, Kommunity Service including the record, “Perfect Timing” ft Blxst. The rapper announced his upcoming album, Pray For Me in February. It seems like “Run” will help jump start the campaign.

Check out the official cover art for YG’s upcoming single, “Run” below and sound off with your thoughts in the comments.

Jason Derulo Reveals A Hidden Talent For Opera And People Are Shocked

It’s kind of an unspoken open secret in pop music that a lot of our favorite singers are actually even more talented than they show. Since simpler, catchier songs tend to be more marketable and popular (thus making a lot more money), many singers with incredible vocal talent often constrain themselves to music they can sell rather than demonstrating their full gifts.

Some fans are getting a taste of this thanks to a TikTok video taken during a Jason Derulo show, as the “Wiggle” and “Swalla” singer demonstrated another facet of his musical gifts. In the video, the classically trained singer launches into an impressively barrel-chested rendition of his song “Goodbye” in the style of the Andrea Bocelli classic “Time To Say Goodbye,” which it samples. The camera swiftly pans over to a fan in the crowd whose jaw is doing its best to find the floor, while the caption explains that the audience was “FLABBERGASTED” by the pop star’s operatic vocals.

Naturally, the TikTok quickly made its way to Twitter, where fans did a 280-character written version of the shocked face of the girl on the TikTok. From having trouble reconciling the booming voice in the video with Derulo’s role in the mind-breakingly bad 2019 film version of Cats to being utterly floored by yet another hidden talent from the constantly surprising singer, fans couldn’t contain their amazement at Jason’s previously unacknowledged gift.

Woman Recalls Unknowingly Becoming A Getaway Driver During The Killing Of Nipsey Hussle

Bryannita Nicholson testified in court on Monday that she unknowingly acted as a getaway driver for Nipsey Hussle’s accused killer, Eric Holder on March 31, 2019. She explained that she had been in a casual relationship with Holder for five weeks, when he asked her to take him off to the shopping center where Hussle’s clothing store, The Marathon, is located.

Nicholson explained that she was excited when she recognized Hussle and wanted a picture. She says Holder got out of the car at the sight of Hussle, while she continued to look for parking. Once she caught up with Holder, she remembers hearing accusations of snitching.

“Eric was asking Nipsey, ‘Did you tell somebody I snitched?’” she testified.

“I was just excited, I was just happy, I just wanted to show my Facebook friends,” she added.

The two got back in the car, at which point Nicholson says Holder pulled out a pistol.

“I was like, ‘What are you doing?’ You put that away, you ain’t going to shoot nothing outside my car,’” Nicholson recalled. “He did put it away.”

Holder then allegedly asked her to pull into an alley so that he could eat, but when the car stopped, he said that he would be right back. Soon after, she heard gunshots and Holder got back in the car.

“I was like, ‘What happened?’” Nicholson testified. “He said, ‘You talk too much I ought to slap you.’ And he was just like, ‘Drive! Drive!'”

Holder faces one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder, and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon. If convicted, Holder could be looking at life in prison.

Gorillaz & Thundercat Team Up On “Cracker Island”

Gorillaz has been quite active throughout the past few years. Along with re-releasing a bunch of their former projects as part of their 20th-anniversary celebration, they’ve also dropped off some new music. Last year, they shared the Meanwhile EP.

Today, the fictional band unveiled their latest single, “Cracker Island” with some help from Thundercat. Production duties on the record are shared between Greg Kurstin, Gorillaz, and Remi Kabaka Jr. The lead single arrives in the midst of their The Last Cult campaign, where Murdoc Niccals is the “self-appointed Great Leader.” While it remains unclear what The Last Cult is, it seems like a promising sign that Gorillaz will be dropping a new project soon.

“It’s nice to be back, I’m well into our new tune, it brings back weird and scary memories of stuff that hasn’t happened yet,” said singer 2-D in a statement.

Check the song out below.

In the end, it will be great
