Draymond Green Loves Young Dolph & Yo Gotti, Doesn’t Get “Caught Up” In Rap Beefs

All eyes are on the NBA as the Western Conference SemiFinals are upon us, and this week, the Golden State Warriors were victorious over the Memphis Grizzlies. After Game 1, Warriors star Draymond Green enjoyed a few Young Dolph songs as he was in the late rapper’s hometown where he was also murdered back in November 2021.

During his press conference, Green spoke about his admiration for Dolph as an artist, as well as Yo Gotti and Moneybagg Yo. As far as Rap beefs are concerned, Green doesn’t even give it any focus.

“Always want to send my love to [Dolph’s] family and the city of Memphis,” said Green. “He was a staple. He was someone who took care of the community and gave back. Stayed in his community. He touched his community. So, I send my love and respect.” He went on to say that he has a routine of playing music from the city his team lands in, going on to add that “Dolph is incredible.”

Green also made sure to say that he has no interest in entertaining conversations about animosity between rappers. “I don’t get in people’s beefs. I am a Yo Gotti fan as well,” said the basketball star. “I love Dolph’s music, I love Gotti’s music, I love Moneybagg [Yo]’s music. Like I said, I’m not from Memphis, I don’t live in Memphis, so I don’t get caught up in that. I love all their music.”

Blac Chyna Announces Celebrity Boxing Match, Jhonni Blaze Wants In

She may have encountered a setback after a judge sided with the Kardashian-Jenners in court, but Blac Chyna’s hustle continues. For weeks, the world has had a front-row seat to the $100 million defamation trial that Chyna set forth against the famous family, and now that that portion of the legal drama has concluded, for the time being, the model-entrepreneur announced that she was gearing up for a celebrity boxing match.

These bouts in the ring can be lucrative for entertainers looking to make big money, and according to Chyna, it’s going down next month.

After sharing that the match has already been scheduled to take place on June 11, Chyna challenged her fellow celebrities to step up to the plate and go round for round. Singer Jhonni Blaze answered the call and shared a video of herself throwing a few punches in the ring. After the clip was reshared, she added a few more thoughts after receiving backlash.

“[Crying laughing emojis] dang why is it when I say something or I be like hey it’s for charity I’ll join or if I say I ain’t get a bbl or I can cook and sing play instruments or I wan to twerk I get bashed !” Jhonni wrote. “How am I look for clout when I’m jus to like any one else on social media commenting going w my friends and stuff why do y’all bully me !?!?”

Teyana Taylor’s ‘Last Rose Petal 2’ Farewell Tour Gives Fans Another Chance To Say Their Goodbyes

At the end of 2020, Teyana Taylor announced her retirement from the music industry after airing out her frustrations with her label Def Jam. The announcement came after she released her third album The Album which stood as one of the better R&B projects in 2020. Some wondered if they would receive a chance to say goodbye to the beloved singer, and Teyana gave them that with The Last Rose Petal tour last fall. That tour came to a close at the end of November 2021 which insinuated that Teyana’s retirement would begin, but as we now know, that is not the case.

On Tuesday, Teyana announced that she will once again hit the road thanks to The Last Rose Petal 2 tour. In a post about the new tour, Teyana explained her decision to head out on the road again. “TLRP2 is for all the cities that I did not get to hit during part 1,” she wrote. “However If you see a city on part 2 that I already did in part 1 those cites are getting encores because the venues was not big enough to hold the amount of people that showed up.”

The Last Rose Part 2 tour will begin June 19 in Washington DC with the Something In The Water Festival. Almost two months later, things will resume with a show in Los Angeles and The Last Rose Part 2 tour will continue for a little over a month before coming to an end on September 8 in Paris.

You can check out the full list of dates in the post above. Tickets will go on sale this Friday 5/6 and they can be purchased here.

DJ Mustard’s Wife Chanel Thierry Breaks Her Silence On Divorce: “More Than Heartbreaking”

It’s a sad day in the McFarlane household. On Tuesday afternoon, legal documents obtained by TMZ revealed that DJ Mustard filed for divorce from his wife, Chanel Theirry, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their separation.

Earlier in the day, the mother of three shared an upload to her Instagram feed that saw her still wearing her wedding ring, but in the hours since the news has begun making rounds online, she’s officially spoken out on the situation, confirming the couple’s split.

“Thank you for the kind words, thoughts, and prayers,” she wrote on her Story. “Anyone that followed me or knows me personally knows my family means the world to me. I’ve [dedicated] 12 loyal years and it is more [than] heartbreaking to see things end.”

While they’ve known one another since they were teenagers, and spent some time developing a friendship before they became romantically involved, Mustard didn’t propose until 2018, and they wed in 2020. From the sounds of a post that Thierry made at the time of their engagement, she was hoping to tie the knot much sooner.

“Finally after three years we decided to take a step out on fate, and date. When I got pregnant with Kiy I was so scared, you told me ‘I got you, I got us.’ I dropped out of college, moved out my moms, stayed in YG’s garage for a while (yup, that’s what love will do), then to your moms, until we got enough money to get our apt,” she recalled.

“No matter how much I pressured you ‘I don’t need a ring, let’s go to the court house’ you never folded. Constantly reminding me that ‘That’s not what we doing. When I do it, I want to do it on my own cause that’s what you deserve.'”

Mustard has yet to address the filing on his own page, although he has been posting content from his recent workouts. Check back in with HNHH later for any updates on your favourite famous couples.

Kanye West Sued By Pastor Over “Come To Life” Sample

Kanye West may be staying out of the spotlight for now, but that doesn’t mean that the 44-year-old is staying out of trouble. According to TMZ, Ye is being sued by a pastor over one of the tracks on his Grammy-nominated DONDA album for sampling without permission.

Legal documents obtained by the outlet reveal that Bishop David Paul Moten is suing the father of four over “Come To Life,” which he says uses his voice and one of his sermons both in the intro as well as looped throughout.

According to Moten’s lawsuit, “70 seconds of the five minute and 10-second long title” use his content, amounting to more than 20 percent of the song. The Bishop condemned Ye and the music industry for the way that they “willfully and egregiously [sample] sound recordings of others without consent or permission.”

The lawsuit also names UMG Recordings, Def Jam Recordings, and G.O.O.D Music with the defendant seeking damages from all parties.

As HipHopDX reports, this isn’t the only musical beef that Ye has been hit with recently. “Tide Pen” rapper Smokepurrp claimed that the Yeezus hitmaker owes him approximately $9 million over alleged unpaid songwriting credits from 2018’s “I Love It.”

In other news, D.L. Hughley chimed in on Pete Davidson’s new neck tattoo, which apparently pays tribute to Kim Kardashian and the four children she shares with Kanye West – read more about that here, and tap back in with HNHH later for more hip-hop news updates.
