Chris Rock Responds To Fan Yelling “F*ck Will Smith” During Comedy Show In Boston

The slap heard around the world last weekend continues to cause a stir in the media. Just a few days after the incident at the 94th Academy Awards, Chris Rock kicked off his Ego Death tour in Boston, where crowds were reportedly rowdy – some people even loudly slandering Will Smith, who hit the comedian.

As the New York Post reports, on Thursday night, an employee said patrons at the Wilbur Theatre had “a lot of extra energy,” which was evident from the start of the Grown-Ups actor’s 8 PM set time.

“Someone yelled out ‘F*ck Will Smith’ and [Rock] went, ‘No, no, no,'” an audience member who wished to remain anonymous told the outlet. “[Rock] said it like five or six times as he walked across the stage.”

During his Wednesday night performance, the South Carolina native briefly addressed the assault, admitting to the crowd that he was “still processing” being slapped, although he plans to discuss what happened at “some point.”

Last evening’s routine was mostly focused on new material. “He kinda just shook it off,” ticket holder Adam Brown recalled. “He didn’t want to talk about it.”

“He’s gotta take some time to really figure out how he wants to deal with it,” another audience member speculated. It’s also been noted that several attendees were removed from the venue due to their behaviour, although they believe they shouldn’t have been.

“We weren’t heckling Chris Rock,” the Boston native explained. “We had front-row seats. We were endorsing him, responding to his jokes. He was interacting with us but security took us out.”

Are you surprised that the 57-year-old has been keeping mostly quiet regarding his altercation with Will Smith, or do you respect the comedian’s decision to focus on his other material at this time? Let us know in the comments.

Lil Durk Reacts To The Iced Out Eternity Band India Royale Bought For HIm

Lil Durk might have an impressive jewelry collection already but the latest piece he was gifted seemingly outshines the other iced-out pieces in his possession. The rapper’s fiancée, India Royale, went on Instagram where she revealed a stunning new ring that she copped for her soon-to-be husband from NYC Jeweler.

“All 1 carat each Emerald cut eternity band for @lildurk from @indiaroyale … All GIA dont get it twisted,” Izzy captioned his post with Durk’s ring.

India shared the photo on her page, writing, “How I’m coming for mine. It look so good on him.”

Durk sounds like he was completely shocked by the luxurious new diamond ring. “The ring @indiaroyale got me fucking all my rings up lol,” he wrote. “I gotta go to store.”

The rapper and his girlfriend have been dating for a few years now, and Durk finally put a ring on it in December. During his homecoming show at WGCI’s Big Jam Concert at the United Center, the rapper popped the question in front of thousands of fans. The engagement ring he proposed with reportedly cost upwards of $1M.

In related news, Durk is fresh off of the release of his latest project, 7220 which shot up the top of the Billboard 200 upon its release and continues to sell high numbers, weeks after it dropped.

Check out the ring below.

Man Arrested for Murder of Young Thug’s Son’s Mother

A man has been arrested in the fatal bowling alley shooting of the mother of Young Thug’s child.

Joshua Fleetwood was arrested and taken into custody on Thursday, according to TMZ. He was charged him with felony murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and is currently being held in Atlanta’s Fulton County Jail.

LaKevia Jackson, 31, was shot and killed March 17 in Atlanta after she reportedly got into a dispute over a bowling ball that escalated into gunfire.

Jackson’s mother claims that the suspect waited 20 minutes in the parking lot for her daughter before shooting her as she was leaving a birthday party at Metro Fun Center in Atlanta.

“I didn’t know that was going to be the last time I talked to my baby,” Sherina Jackson told CBS46. “I could hear her over the phone crying and screaming then her best friend said she’s not breathing! … I lost my baby all over a bowling ball.”

Jackson and Thug share a 14-year-old son, Kyvion Jackson. The two reportedly met before Thug was famous while they were both living in the same apartment complex.

Nicki Minaj Will Be The First Guest To Join James Corden For The Return Of ‘Carpool Karaoke’

Say what you want to about James Corden, but he’s got a winner in Carpool Karaoke. The late-night segment is an absolute delight, one of the few completely wholesome things to look forward to in our modern-day hellscape of the internet. Sure, it’s basically easy PR for celebrities, but watching the Stranger Things kids belt out Biggie Smalls or Cardi B struggle to parallel park are fun little ways of both bringing these people down to earth and commiserating in our common faults.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 safety protocols, the bit has been off the air for the past two years, as social distancing complicated the filming too much to make it a regular occurrence. Well, social distancing guidelines have relaxed — for better or worse — and it’s pretty obvious the world could use more joy, so Corden and the gang are bringing the beloved segment back. Beginning on April 6, Carpool Karaoke returns to The Late Late Show with first guest Nicki Minaj, according to the show’s Twitter:

Nicki’s appearance will be followed on April 18 with another segment featuring Camila Cabello. The announcement lends fuel to the rumors that Nicki Minaj is planning to release an album this year after sharing a slew of singles and feature verses including her own “Do We Have A Problem?” and Coi Leray’s “Blick Blick.” Cabello’s also got a new album coming, Familia, which will feature Ed Sheeran and Willow. Check out the teaser above.

James Harden Called Out By Doc Rivers After Lackluster Performance

James Harden was playing extremely well for the Philadelphia 76ers just a few weeks ago. However, now things seem to be taking a downward turn as Harden is simply not playing to the level he is known for. Joel Embiid has had to carry the team on his back, and over the last week, the team has experienced some bad losses, including a defeat at the hands of the Detroit Pistons, who are among the worst teams in the league.

After having a bad shooting night, Harden was even thrown under the bus by his head coach, Doc Rivers. While speaking to the media, Rivers went out of his way to say that his bench was not the problem last night, however, he did note that Harden was a big factor in why the team lost.

“Well, [the bench] didn’t struggle,” Rivers said. “They didn’t get a lot of shots in their defense. I think during that stretch, it was more James than them. So you know, yeah, it’s just a tough night.”

It remains to be seen if this is something that will go over well with the Sixers star. Harden has always had motivation problems, and being called out like this probably won’t help matters.

You can see the highlights from last night’s game, down below.

NBA Youngboy Offers A Taste Of What’s To Come With “The Last Slimeto Sampler”

NBA Youngboy is out of prison and on house arrest but he’s clearly putting his time inside to good use. He’s already unveiled his project, Colors earlier this year, along with BETTER THAN YOU with DaBaby, and those two were only the warm-up. The rapper announced his new project, The Last Slimeto recently, which is expected to contain over two dozen songs.

Last night, the rapper unveiled the tracklist, which is expected to contain 30 songs in total. However, it seems like he’s allowing fans to digest a third of the project before the Aug. 5th release date with The Last Slimeto Sampler. Containing previously the released single “I Hate Youngboy,” the new project consists of the final 11 songs on The Last Slimeto.

Check out the latest from Youngboy Never Broke Again below.

Tee Grizzley Offers Aggressive Bars And Autotune On “Buss It All Down”

Tee Grizzley is one of the best artists out of Detroit, and he is certainly a fan favorite in his city. Throughout his career, he has helped popularize the fast flows, clever bars, and piano lines that have become synonymous with his region’s sound. With each new track, you can’t help but admire the stickiness of his hooks, and on the new track “Buss It All Down,” he certainly does not disappoint.

This song features those dope piano lines we have come to expect from Grizzley, all while the 808s do their fair share of talking. As for Grizzley, the artist brings forth some aggressive bars, all while his vocals have some autotune on them. It makes for a very solid formula that fans will most definitely enjoy.

Let us know what you think of this new track, in the comments down below.

Quotable Lyrics:

I grew up around weight flippеrs (Weight flippers)

Fast forward and a lot of shit done changed, n***a
