The Braxton Sisters Claim Traci’s Husband & Former Manager Are Exploiting Her Death

It’s been two weeks since Traci Braxton succumbed to her year-long battle with esophageal cancer, and the Braxton sisters just want her at peace. However, the sisters believe her husband and manager are “exploiting” her death.

Against her wishes, Traci’s husband Kevin Surratt, and management have planned to have a viewing with Zoom links and a funeral service. “Traci did not want a funeral or wake. She did not want people looking all over her body. She specifically requested to be immediately cremated…There was a Zoom meeting that made it clear about what she wanted, and now her husband is trying to cash in on her name,” per a Braxton insider for Page Six.

Surratt moved forward against Traci’s wishes and held a viewing for her last week. Her sisters and mother chose not to attend, though her father did attend. It’s alleged that he was initially denied entry “for not being on the list.” The insider added, “He was so upset that he wasn’t on the list. Someone from the church recognized him and let him in and he had to sit in the fourth row.”

Surratt has since denied these allegations. He told Page Six that “my father-in-law and brother-in-law came in briefly. He also insisted that he invited the sisters but, “they did not show up.” Her husband claims that he honored her wishes and that she gave directions to the funeral home prior to her passing.

On Thursday (March 30), Traci’s manager, Cliff Jones is also holding an actual funeral service despite his managerial rights being relinquished before her passing. Sources claim that he reached out to gospel artists Kim Burrell and Byron Cage to perform at the service. The singers have since pulled out of the performance.

Page Six’s source did say that Traci’s body has been cremated and the family will hold their own private memorial on April 2, which would have been her 51st birthday.

Latto Says Her Label Has Tried To Silence Her From Clapping Back Online

At 23-years-old, Latto’s already made a strong impression on the rap game. She declared herself the Queen Of The Souf on her debut album, and 777 made it clear that she’s not letting anyone gun for her crown. In the lead-up to the album’s release, she continued to face significant criticism from the internet, from her comments about male artists trying to cross the boundaries of professionalism to the venue capacity of her shows.

Latto remains incredibly outspoken in the face of criticism, never shying away from pushing back against false narratives. Unfortunately, it seems like her label would prefer that she keeps some things to herself. During her recent appearance on the Joe Budden Podcast, she explained her frustrations with the business side of the industry, admitting that she “just wants to rap, bro.”

“There’s just so much stuff that I’m going through right now that I just didn’t know that people do,” she said. “It’s the business stuff that just like — it’s frustrating you because you can’t speak on certain stuff. They tell you to shut the fuck up but it’s like this is what I’m going through. Bitch, I don’t want to shut the fuck up.”

Joe then asked whether she means that they were asking her to be quiet in interviews, her music, or on social media. “On the label side, they’re like, ‘You’re on the Shade Room too much. Shut the fuck up.’ And the fans like, ‘shut the fuck up. You clout chasing.’ Or, I’m like, I’m venting?”

Latto then addressed the negative fan reaction to her openness on social media when she vents. She explained that people think that because she’s a celebrity with money that she’s exempt from having feelings. On the other side, she admits that fans feel validated whenever she claps back at them.

“I keep saying ‘Be Beyoncé to these bitches.’ I be like, ‘What would Beyonce do?’ Beyoncé ain’t going back and forth with a fake page,” Latto added.

Air Jordan 9 “Fire Red” Coming Soon: First Look

One of the more obscure Jumpman models from Michael Jordan’s youth is the Air Jordan 9. This shoe was never as popular due to the fact that Jordan was away playing baseball when this shoe came out. Regardless, there are some cool colorways of the shoe, and every year, Jumpman comes through with at least one new offering to make fans happy.

According to @zsneakerheadz on Instagram, this year’s first Air Jordan 9 will be in “Fire Red.” Of course, “Fire Red” is a pretty common motif in the Jumpman universe, and this Jordan 9 fits the bill extraordinarily well. The base of the upper is predominantly white, all while red is blasted on the mudguard and the back heel. There is no doubt that this is a vibrant model, and hopefully, we get some official images, very soon.

For now, it is being reported that this sneaker will drop on Thursday, November 5th, for a price of $200 USD. This date has yet to be made official, so stay tuned to HNHH as we will bring you all of the latest news and updates from around the sneaker world. Antonio Brown Will Only Get Ankle Surgery Under One Condition

Antonio Brown has been dealing with an ankle injury since last season, and many in his circle are aware of the fact that it needs surgery. In fact, just a few months ago, it had been reported that Brown was scheduled for surgery, however, he never actually went under the knife. Instead, Brown has been keeping it medicated, and he is perfectly okay with walking around with his ankle as is.

In an interview with TMZ Sports, Brown touched on his decision not to get the ankle worked on. As he explained, going through surgery rehab can take a lot out of you, and at this point, he is only willing to get the surgery if he has guaranteed work with an NFL team this Fall.

“I need to get my ankle fixed, but I just want to make sure I got an obligation or a commitment from a team,” Brown said. “It’s a lot for a guy to go do surgery without an idea of where you gonna work, or who you going to work for.” Brown then went on to say that he would love to play in the NFL again as football is his life. “I couldn’t even be in this position without being a football player,” he said. “So I never want to take that for granted. I would love to continue my career. I got a lot of game left in me.”

Some teams might find this offputting, as usually, a franchise wants you to be healthy before they sign you. Regardless, this is an interesting strategy from Brown, and only time will tell whether or not he is given another chance in the NFL.

Antonio Brown Reveals If He Would Ever Go Back To Tampa Bay

Antonio Brown is one of the best wide receiver talents in the league, and last year, he certainly got to show it when he was healthy. Unfortunately, Brown felt disrespected by the Bucs late in the season, and it led to a huge tantrum in which he stormed off the field after taking off all of his gear. Brown was immediately let go by the team, and now, he is a free agent with no place to go, at least for now.

Recently, Brown got to catch up with TMZ, where he was asked about his future in the league. At one point, Brown was asked if he would ever consider going back to Tampa Bay if they were to ask him. AB immediately shot the notion down, claiming that he felt too disrespected to ever go back there.

What makes these comments interesting is that Bruce Arians has since retired as head coach. Of course, he is still a part of the franchise, however, maybe this will make AB reconsider.

50 Cent Applauds Chris Rock’s Professionalism, Expects Lawsuit Against Will Smith

Chris Rock finally broke his silence on the Oscars slap on Sunday night. The comedian performed his first stand-up sets since the incident at the Wilbur in Boston on Wednesday night for back-to-back shows. During the night late performance, he briefly chimed in on the matter without mentioning anyone’s name in particular.

Rock didn’t directly mention the incident, saying that he’s “still processing what happened” but most people who attended his shows said that he was in good spirits.

50 Cent, who spent the majority of Monday morning recycling memes of Will Smith slapping Rock, came up with some encouraging words for the comedian this morning. The Power exec. shared the Hollywood Reporter’s headline following Rock’s set, praising the comedian for keeping his head high after the incident took place. “I don’t know how @chrisrock held his composure, but i’m glad he didn’t make a mess of the whole thing,” he captioned the post.

Less than 12 hours later, and Fif couldn’t help himself from sharing more video edits of Will Smith and Chris Rock. This time, it was an edit syncing the claps from the “Men In Black” instrumental with video of the slap. “This shit is funny till that law suit hit, here it come in 5, 4, 3, 2, $100,000,000,” Fif wrote. “yeah that’s how this kinda shit plays out!”

Tom Brady Reacts To Bruce Arians’ Retirement From Coaching

Yesterday, Bruce Arians dropped a bombshell on the football world as he announced that he would be retiring from coaching. Arians noted that he still loves the game of football and that he will be moving to the Bucs’ front office. As for the team’s next head coach, it will be Todd Bowles, who served as the team’s defensive coordinator over the last few seasons.

It was a huge move that many believe could be inspired by Tom Brady’s return to the field. In fact, Brady took to Instagram following the news as he penned a nice yet emotional letter to Arians. Clearly, Brady has a ton of respect for the Super Bowl-winning coach, and he is excited to continue working with him, albeit in a more limited capacity.

Per Brady:

“Thank you, BA for all that you have done for me and our team. You are an incredible man and coach, and it was a privilege to play for you. You are a true NFL legend and pioneer for all the work you have done to make the league more diverse and inclusive.

Smart, tough, and loyal are a few of the words to describe your style. I will always remember the conversations we had when you recruited me two years ago and all of the things we discussed came true. We all benefited from your leadership and guidance and I’m so proud of everything we accomplished. You were a huge part of the decision to join the Bucs and I’m forever grateful.

I’m so happy you will spend the much-deserved time with your loving and supportive family that has given so much to our communities. Congratulations on an amazing coaching career but more importantly, how you positively impacted me and everyone else in the game of football.”

It remains to be seen how good the Bucs will be this season, however, there is no doubt that they will be solid contenders in the NFC.

Kevin Durant Calls NBA Officials “Embarrassing” After Austin Rivers Ejection

This year has not been a good one for NBA officiating. In fact, it feels like the refs get increasingly worse, every single year. The league has a bit of a problem on its hands, and players have been complaining all season long. While some feel like the players are exaggerating, even the fans have noticed that the officials are inconsistent, and very rarely make the right call when presented the opportunity.

A great example of this happened last night as Austin Rivers was kicked out of his game against the Indiana Pacers. The reason? Well, he faked an elbow to the head of Lance Stephenson, and the latter sold it so well that it had the official fooled. From there, Rivers was simply shocked and took to Twitter after, saying “Never in my life have I been thrown out of Game for something so ridiculous.”

It was such an egregious act of incompetence from the officials, that even Kevin Durant had to get in on the action. He also went on Twitter and simply wrote “this is embarrassing.” Fans could not help but agree with the Nets superstar, as the ejection was easily one of the worst calls in recent NBA history.

Hopefully, the NBA can look at this and get things sorted out because right now, the league does not look particularly good.
