As one of the alpha male chimpanzees tries to take control of the group in order to mate, things take a deadly turn.

In the clip which stemmed from BBC Earth, David Attenborough explains that the alpha male must keep order and control amongst the family so that only he can find a mate.

He has a wingman, or a friend that helps him keep guard over the rest of the chimps.

Unfortunately for the alpha, things take a turn when the rest of the group forms a mutiny. They outnumber the two chimps easily, and all hell breaks loose. The chimpanzees break tree branches, launch rocks, and eventually gang up on the alpha. In the end, the cost is his life.

It’s something right out of ‘Lord of the Flies’ but it’s reality. It’s a stunning into glimpse into a species similar to ours in many ways, but also vastly different. Posted By Ghost

Kanye West Reportedly Wants His Social Media Posts Kept Out Of His Upcoming Court Hearing With Kim Kardashian

It’s been more than a year since Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West, but the two are still fighting. Earlier this week, Kardashian requested to have the divorce expedited by the court while Kanye himself is still putting up a fight to win her back. Now Kanye has reportedly filed legal documents to have his social media posts kept out of their upcoming hearing. According to TMZ, the rapper has argued that Kim does not know that he wrote the posts despite the fact that they’ve been shared on social media accounts like Instagram.

“Kim claims she read something online allegedly by Kanye and characterizes the posts in her declaration as misinformation,” Kanye’s lawyer says according to TMZ. “Kim needed to offer the social media posts into evidence, and show that the posts were written by Kanye.” For what it’s worth, Kanye’s team did not deny that he’s behind the posts in the documents. Their argument instead is that Kim hasn’t done enough to prove that Kanye wrote them.

On top of that, Kanye’s lawyer reportedly says that the prenup between Kanye and Kim can no longer be viewed as valid, claiming there’s a presumption in California that prenups signed after 2001 are invalid, and that the only way that they can be validated is through a trial or if both parties agree to uphold its terms. It seems that Kanye will not agree to the terms, which means that a full-blown trial will be required, thus stifling Kim’s attempts to expedite the divorce.

JAY-Z Victorious In Dispute Against Perfume Company, Wins Over $4.5 Million In Royalties

In 2012, JAY-Z inked a deal with Parlux, a perfume company who would manufacture the “Gold Jay Z” line of perfume. Parlux became frustrated with Hov and claimed he breached their contract when he did not attend the 2014 Gold Jay Z launch at Macy’s, as well as missing promotional appearances for the perfume line for “Good Morning America” and in Women’s Wear Daily.

This led to Parlux filing a suit against Sean Carter, better known as JAY-Z, where they would seek a $68 million settlement for JAY failing to uphold his end of their deal. In the lawsuit, Parlux and their attorney Anthony Viola “accused the star of failing to properly promote his Gold Jay-Z cologne line” which caused $18 million in lost revenue: ““If the defendants had fulfilled the contract, if they have upheld their end of the bargain, Parlux would have had a runaway success. We would have netted $67.6 million in net profits.”

But JAY-Z disagreed, insisting they instead owed him $2.7 million in royalties. He eventually testified in court in October 2021, along with his lawyer Alex Spiro. Hov’s argument against the suit is that Parlux never provided the adequate products and effort into the “Gold Jay-Z” line that he anticipated, and was always frustrated with the work they provided.

He would eventually be cleared of any breach of contract in November. Now, a few months later, JAY has claimed another victory over his estranged perfume partners, as an appellate court ruled on Feb. 24 that he is entitled to over $4.5 million in royalties. 

In the court’s unanimous decision, Justice John Higgitt claimed that Parlux still made money off of Hov’s name even after they claimed he breached their contract: “The record is clear: Parlux sold licensed products after July 31, 2015, but failed to pay royalties on those sales.”

All in all, it seems like JAY-Z’s triumph over Parlux indicates that they were trying to pull a fast one on him, but justice has been served.

Milan Fashion Week is in full swing over in Italy, as hoards of over favourite celebrities and fashionistas flock to the beautiful country to sit front row at the seemingly endless roster of designer shows.

Despite the fact that she’s expecting her first child, Rihanna still made the trip to the luxurious city, where she turned heads while attending the Gucci Fall/Winter 2022-23 show as the guest of honour with her rapper boyfriend, A$AP Rocky.

As Page Six Style notes, the Bad Gal maintained her trend of opting for bold maternity style – completely baring her bump for the world to see instead of covering it as society often pressures women to do.

The 34-year-old paired a latex crop top with low-slung, black, dragon-print pants and a large fuzzy lavender coat. Her accessories consisted of layered necklaces (including a flashy Briony Raymond cross), a shiny metal headdress, and her lilac eyeshadow and red lipstick paired beautifully with the look’s details.

As for Rocky, the New York native wore a sleek all-black fit, paired with mustard-coloured ski gloves – one of which carried a monogrammed Gucci suitcase in hand.

Recently, the Fenty Beauty founder had a discussion with Refinery29 about her unique approach to styling herself as a pregnant woman. “Right now I’m really into pushing the idea of sexy,” she shared.

“When women get pregnant, society tends to make it feel like you hide, hide your sexy, and that you’re not sexy right now, [but] you’ll get back there and I don’t believe in that shit… I’m trying stuff that I might now have even had the confidence to try before I was pregnant. The strappiest, the thinnest, and the more cutouts the better for me.”
