Kanye West And Beach House Were Spotted In The Studio Together

Well here’s one that nobody had on their 2022 bingo card: Kanye West and Beach House appear to be in the studio together. Or maybe we could have seen this coming? Does anything surprise us with Kanye anymore these days? On the heels of releasing 16 tracks from Donda 2 directly onto his stem player this week, Ye posted a series of photos on Instagram from a studio session with two people who are very clearly Beach House’s Alex Scally and Victoria Legrande.

Beach House, who just released their double album Once Twice Melody last week, had a tour stop at The Sylvee in Madison, WI last night, and tonight, they’re performing at The Palace Theatre in St. Paul, MN. So assuming the series of photos aren’t from an old shoot, then it’s a good bet that these were taken in or near Madison or St. Paul.

West was in Miami this past Tuesday for the Donda 2 listening party and could be back in Chicago at this point. It’s also plausible that Beach House made a two and a half hour drive to Chicago after the Madison show to link with West and then took an hour and a half flight to St. Paul before tonight’s show.

Donda 2 co-producer John Cunningham took to Twitter to confirm the validity of the photo:

Regardless, even though you didn’t ask for it, we have proof that Kanye and Beach House linked in the studio. And for what it’s worth, this wouldn’t be the first time a prominent rapper has taken an interested in the dream-pop duo. The Weeknd famously sampled “Master Of None” for “The Party & The After Party” on his 2011 debut, House of Balloons, while Kendrick Lamar sampled “Silver Soul” on “Money Trees” off of his 2012 breakthrough, Good Kid m.A.A.d City.

Rick Ross Didn’t Want To Pay $10,000 To Have Ten Trees Cut Down, So He Put On A Cowboy Hat And Did It Himself

If you want something done right, you got to do it yourself, right? Rick Ross seems to live by that mantra, as he made clear with a hilarious string of Instagram Story posts on Saturday morning. Ross, who is fresh off a deluxe release of his eleventh album, Richer Than I Ever Been, and videos for “Wiggle” and “Little Havana,” revealed a dilemma he faced: He wanted ten oak trees in his backyard cut down and the price to do so was $1,000 each. That amounts to a grand total of $10,000.

You might think that’s chump change to a successful artist like Rick Ross, but he decided there was a cheaper way to get it done. Ross sent a friend to purchase two chainsaws, which he says cost about $2,000. Then he put on a cowboy hat to cut down the trees himself. “They must’ve forgot who the f*ck I am,” Ross proclaimed after he put on his cowboy hat. “I’m hands-on, I’ll cut down my own motherf*cking trees. You can’t charge The Boss $1,000 a tree to cut it down, I’ll cut down my own motherf*cking trees. I gotta make room for my animals! I’m the biggest boss, y’all ready to go cut these trees down?”

True enough, the next few videos on his Instagram Story captured Ross taking the chainsaw to one of the oak trees. While it wasn’t the smoothest chop, Ross eventually cuts down the first of ten trees. After it falls down, Ross briefly celebrates before jokingly chasing down the person behind the camera.

EARTHGANG, JID & J. Cole Are Feeling “Fire Emoji” This Week

Leading the way on this week’s short and sweet Fire Emoji playlist update is the long-awaited EARTHGANG track, “WATERBOYZ,” which includes incredible features from 31-year-old Atlanta native JID, and “No Role Modelz” rapper Jermaine Cole.

“Sanitation, we stay out the wastes / Sunset, he wanna stay at the one / Get a woman, run away to L.A. where the devils waiting / And the hoochies pop p*ssy for Pucci,” the DiCaprio 2 hitmaker raps near the end of his verse.

Next up, we have Kodak Black, who delivered banger after banger on his newly released Back For Everything album. The track we’ve decided to highlight is the fifth title, “On Everything,” which first surfaced online as a snippet in early January, and finds the Florida native reflecting on his growth in life lately.

“I’ma rose gold all your diamonds and accessories too / I know I’m a ugly-ass lil’ n*gga, but I look better with you / We puttin’ SG on everything for whatever we do / I keep a maid in some lingerie, got a see-through roof,” the controversial rapper cooly spits.

Last up on our list this week is Lil Durk’s alleged NBA YoungBoy diss track, “AH HAAA,” arriving ahead of the Chicago native’s forthcoming album. Less than 24 hours after the song was uploaded, YB shot back with a clever response of his own – read more about that here, and check back in with HNHH next Saturday to see what Fire Emoj-worthy tracks we’ve added to our latest playlist update.

Mooski Goes “Scuba Diving” On Latest Single

Mooski is now two weeks away from his debut album Melodic Therapy 4 The Broken, which he has dropped three prior promotional singles for. Now, he is back with the fourth, releasing “Scuba Diving” of Friday (Feb. 25).

As opposed to his downtrodden single from last week “Soul Bleed,” “Scuba Diving” is more of an upbeat, romantic track that sees him tap into his sensuality with his partner. The young R&B star’s vocals are always the shining light of his music, and it is no different on “Scuba Diving,” as he harmonizes his way through the groovy cut.

Mooski’s sexual references to “scuba diving” are clear as he cannot wait to get back home to his woman and sleep with her.

The rollout for Melodic Therapy 4 The Broken has brought tons of momentum for Mooski, and fans have a good deal of material to prepare for the album.

Kendall Jenner’s Nude Photoshoot Has IG Users Calling Out The App’s Community Guidelines

Kendall Jenner is once again feeling the heat. It seems as though any time a member of the Kardashian-Jenner family posts something on Instagram, haters will find a reason to critique them, and the 26-year-old model’s latest upload is no exception.

For her most recent cover shoot, Jenner graced the front of i-D Magazine, switching up her signature, silky black hair for a choppy, red pixie cut that’s just barely visible under a black cowboy hat. On her body, the KUWTK star rocked a pink monokini, complete with multiple flirty cutouts in the front, and a red and white cup from In-N-Out.

While the cover left little to the imagination, it actually wasn’t the most attention-grabbing photo from the shoot. In one feature picture, Jenner can be seen posing completely nude, laying on her side with her breasts exposed – her legs wrapped around one another in a way that accentuates her hips.

Seeing as Instagram has an infamous history of censoring any woman who dares post their nipple on the platform, some have been wondering why the eldest Jenner sister’s NSFW picture remains on her page, over 48 hours after being posted.

“Glad you’re able to post nudes on IG, when thousands of other women get deleted daily for posting things that aren’t even this naked,” one upset Twitter user wrote earlier this week. “Keep up the good work, maybe they will let everyone post nudes now. Oh, it doesn’t work that way. Sucks for us I guess.”

Others called Jenner out for the timing of her post, and how it looked insensitive to some for her to share provocative photos one slide before addressing the ongoing Russia-Ukraine crisis.

Megan Thee Stallion Says She’s Receiving Death Threats

Megan Thee Stallion is under attack.

Amid the drama surrounding her assault case involving Tory Lanez, the “Savage” rapper reveals that she has been receiving a series of disturbing messages attacking her and even threatening her life.

She shared a shocking message from an Instagram user named “megantheestallionsbiggesthater,” who wrote, “Megan Needs To Be Shot And Killed.”

And this is only one of the many harassing comments she receives daily from cyber bullies. “This is the type of sh*t i get online and see EVERY DAY,” said Meg.

Just days earlier, Megan slammed DJ Akademiks for “spreading false narratives” claiming that Tory’s DNA was not found on the weapon used in the shooting. Several reporters refuted the report, saying that the tweet was sent out before the hearing even started.

While Tory claimed Akademiks wasn’t lying, the L.A. District Attorney released a statement saying the “evidence substantially supports the charges” against Lanez.

In response to a shady tweet from Tory, Megan shared a text message in which he appeared to apologize. However, he denies that he was apologizing for shooting her.

“Good D*ick had me fu**ing 2 best friends …. and I got caught,” tweeted Tory. “That’s what I apologized 4 . … it’s sick how u Spun it tho …”

Megan fired back, “Ni**a you shot me you know whats what you were apologizing for. You keep putting a narrative out that me and my friend fell out abt you and thats not true! Why are you skipping over the shooting just admit you shot me bc she definitely aint do it and I aint shoot my damn self.”

A pre-trial hearing is now scheduled for April 5.
