Dave Grohl Says He ‘Would Never Wish’ To Leave Foo Fighters And Go Solo

Foo Fighters have been going strong for nearly three decades now. The band came together in 1994 and since then they’ve released ten albums and ten EPs, with their last project being last year’s Medicine At Midnight. The group has also won 12 Grammy Awards with their first coming back in 2000. Additionally, in 2021, Foo fighters were also inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. By all means, Foo Fighters has achieved everything and more together and it’s something that that their lead vocalist Dave Grohl recognizes.

Grohl and company are currently promoting the Foo Fighters’ new horror film Studio 666. During a recent interview with Sky News, Grohl spoke about his tenure with the band and how he doesn’t want to be like the main character of Studio 666. “The premise is based on a lot of really hilarious rock and roll cliches and stereotypes, right?” Grohl said. “The lead singer that wants to go solo and is at a creative war with his own band – and some lead singers do exactly that.” He added, “That’s something I would never wish to do because I actually like being in the Foo Fighters.”

These comments arrive as Foo Fighters are gearing up to bring their talents to a few festivals this year. The band will make appearances at Osheaga Festival, Boston Calling, Lollapalooza’s Brazil and Argentina festival, and more in 2022. They will also continue their North American tour with additional dates this year.

Jason Momoa & Lisa Bonet Working On Marriage: Report

Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet are reportedly working on their relationship after announcing they had split up, back in January. A source close to the couple revealed to Hollywoodlife that they moved back in together “two weeks ago.”

The source added that they “are very much back together,” explaining that “they decided to work on things rather than throw in the towel because they have so much invested in each other.”

Momoa and Bonet had been together since 2005. They married in October 2017 and share two children.

As for how the rest of the family is handling the attempt at reconciliation, the source said: “Everyone is really hoping that they can make this work this time around.”

The couple released a statement in January announcing that they would be ending their marriage.

“We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding ~and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring,” they wrote.

The statement continued: “We share our Family news~ That we are parting ways in marriage. We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy ~ But so that~ as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty.”

Talib Kweli Confirms New Black Star Album With Yasiin Bey Is On The Way

Back when Yasiin Bey was known as Mos Def, he and Talib Kweli formed the group Black Star and released an album under the same name. It went on to be hailed as one of the most lyrically and culturally dense albums in the Hip Hop archives, and listeners are excited for the duo to reunite for a new project.

In 2019, Talib Kweli began teasing and slowly revealing information in regards to the album. For a while, it only existed as a concept, an idea sought after but sat incomplete for decades. That summer, Kweli confirmed that the album (as it existed at that time) was completed, and that Madlib handled the production on the project. The only issue during that period was sample clearances, so fans began waiting for the body of work to hit the streets.

In early 2021, Kweli stated that the sample clearances were underway and that the album was complete. Obviously, his other statements didn’t result in an album release, so fans took this statement with many grains of salt. The saving grace, though, was that Black Star debuted a new song in May of the same year, doing so through their good friend Dave Chappelle’s podcast. But alas, no album came from the new update.

Although the newest update should also be received with understandable skepticism, Kweli took to his Instagram page to speak on the potential project:

The new Black Star album was recorded in hotel rooms and dressing rooms across the globe. I love how my brother @yasiinbey pushes me musically. #blackstarforever follow @blackstarkeepshining today…

Kodak Black Says Men Don’t Have To Shower Daily

Kodak Black recently dropped a controversial take on how often men and women should be showering, during an interview on Atlanta’s 105.3 The Beat. Black says that men shouldn’t be held to the same hygiene standard as women.

“N****s, we can rock. We ain’t even got to hop in the sprayer every day for real,” Kodak told hosts Jo Jo Alonso and Kodaq. “We aint really got to hop in the sprayer for real like that.”

While Alonso tried to contest that men have a more noticeable body odor, Kodak wasn’t feeling it.

The South Florida rapper noted that it’s not the same situation for women: “But [women], y’all gotta hop in that bitch every day. Soon after we [have sex] all kinds of shit and before.”

While there isn’t exact science on how often you should shower, Dr. Mary Stevenson, assistant professor of dermatology at NYU Langone Health, recently weighed in on the topic with Today. She explained that “you should be showering, bathing or cleansing yourself every two to three days,” but if you’re regularly sweating or working out, you should shower more often.

Detroit TikToker Arrested For Robberies After FBI Tracks Him Through His Videos

TikTok has made it easy for any creator to explode in popularity with a viral video. Whether it be dancing, music, art, sports, etc. the ability to go viral on TikTok is much easier than any other social media app. And, at times, this ability can come back to bite people.

Earlier this month, a series of robberies in Detroit led the FBI to aid in the investigation to find suspects. When looking at security footage of the robberies, they noticed the culprit was wearing white Nike shoes with red trim. These would end up being the shoes of 22-year-old TikTok star Chozen Terrell-Hannah.

Terrell-Hannah, whose username on TikTok is @chozenwrld, had garnered over 148,000 followers on the app, and his most popular video had around 7.9 million views and 1 million likes. After allegedly committing multiple robberies, a tip was placed to the FBI about his identity on Feb. 9 and he was found by the FBI on Feb. 11. He has now been arrested and charged for his crimes in Detroit.

An FBI Task Force officer involved in the case said that the same gun, backpack and shoes he wore during the four robberies were found in his residence when it was searched, and that he admitted to his crimes without resistance: “A search of the residence led to the seizure of items believed to be used in the armed robberies including a black Glock handgun, a black backpack with a floral pattern, a skeleton full bodysuit, and white Nike tennis shoes. (He) admitted to committing all four of the above-described armed robberies and acknowledged using the black backpack with a floral pattern in all four of the armed robberies.”

Ultimately, being a TikTok viral star hurt Chozen, but committing several armed robberies likely will not end well for anybody.
