Chloe Cherry Dishes On Her Transition From Acting In Porn To Starring In “Euphoria”

If you think the cast of Euphoria is wild on-screen, just wait until you find out what they get up to in real life. During an interview with Nylon, 24-year-old actress Chloe Cherry opened up about her journey from the world of adult entertainment to acting onset alongside stars like Zendaya, Dominic Fike, and Alexa Demie.

Before she appeared in the HBO series, Cherry got some practice in while performing in a porn parody that imagined a hookup between Z’s Rue and Hunter Schafer’s Jules. “My friend and I, who’s also an adult movie star, we were just both huge fans of the show and we thought that that one scene [with Rue and Jules] was just so beautiful,” the Pennsylvania native shared.

“When you’re making a porn parody, the best way to make them is scenes like that, where they’re already insinuating that sex is about to happen. So that’s usually what people would want to see in terms of a porn parody. Fans really, really liked it. They thought it was awesome.”

Euphoria director-writer-creator Sam Levinson first discovered Cherry on Instagram and thought that she seemed funny. She admitted to being a “huge fan of the show” before ever being asked to audition, so it was an “unreal” experience for her to see the cast in person.

“Everybody’s so beautiful and so nice, and they all have amazing personalities, and they’re all so talented,” the entertainer told Nylon. “It was just so much talent in one room, so much sense of humour and just great sense of fashion. Everyone’s really smart and very just, creative and talented.”

When faced with the inevitable question of what it was like to transition from porn to regular television – if you can call Euphoria that – Cherry revealed that she didn’t find that much of a difference between the two worlds.

“I’m an actress, just through and through an actress,” she said, adding that she’s “acted for a long time” and has aspirations of continuing to expand her resume in the future.

After Pulling His Music Off Spotify Due To Joe Rogan, Neil Young Is Now Criticizing The Platform’s Audio Quality

Neil Young has officially pulled his music off Spotify, citing his distaste for the streaming service giving a platform to known anti-vaccine conspiracist, Joe Rogan. In the past, Neil has taken umbrage with streaming services that didn’t support high quality sound, even going so far as to create his own mp3 player at one point.

Now that most of his music, at least, is off Spotify, he’s taken back up that old point to further criticize the platform. Today, Young wrote a short missive on his site about the situation, and he also repeatedly notes that when he left Spotify “I felt better,” and encourages listeners to really dig into their experience with the platform. Read it here or check it out in full below.

“When I left SPOTIFY, I felt better.

Digital music has been with us about 40 years now. Digital, rather than reproducing copies of the music as we did back in the analog day, reconstitutes it from 1s and 0s and plays back data that you hear as music.

This allows business people like those who run SPOTIFY to cut the quality right down to 5% of the music’s content. It’s just math. It’s easy to do that with digital, thus allowing more songs and less music to stream faster. That’s because 95% is missing. Thats what SPOTIFY the Tech company does. SPOTIFY then sells you the downgraded music.
When I started everyone got to hear all the music. 100%.

AMAZON, APPLE MUSIC and Qobuz deliver up to 100% of the music today and it sounds a lot better than the shitty degraded and neutered sound of SPOTIFY. If you support SPOTIFY, you are destroying an art form. Business over art. SPOTIFY plays the artist’s music at 5% of its quality and charges you like it was the real thing.

AMAZON, APPLE MUSIC and Qobuz now deliver the real thing. SPOTIFY is ripping you off and has been since day 1. No goosebumps from SPOTIFY sound!

Switch to one of the alternatives – companies that support the arts. Real sound is available there. AMAZON, APPLE MUSIC and Qobuz You just have to leave Spotify and go to a new place that truly cares about music quality.

I met Danile [sic] Ek when he started SPOTIFY. it sounded to me like he was really going to be getting into it. That was a long time ago. I wonder what happened.

When I left Spotify, I felt better.

I support free speech. I have never been in favor of censorship. Private companies have the right to choose what they profit from, just as I can choose not to have my music support a platform that disseminates harmful information. I am happy and proud to stand in solidarity with the front line health care workers who risk their lives every day to help others.

As an unexpected bonus, I sound better everywhere else.

Rick Ross And The-Dream Enjoy The Nightlife Of ‘Little Havana’ In The Song’s Official Video

In the video for “Little Havana” from Rick Ross’ eleventh studio album Richer Than I Ever Been, a title card introduces the song’s guest monologue from Willie Falcon, explaining just who the former kingpin is for those who heard him on the original but didn’t understand his significance to the Miami rapper’s music.

The video also adds a counterpoint from Ross himself, framing Falcon’s opening monologue as a phone conversation between the two men as Willie looks over his gorgeous tropical surroundings and Ross surveys his luxuriously appointed, fully stocked liquor shelf. As the beat kicks in, Ross and The-Dream, the song’s other featured artist, cruise through the nighttime Miami streets in a Rolls-Royce convertible taking in the city’s neon-washed nightlife.

In addition to “Little Havana,” Ross’ latest album also includes the singles “Outlawz” featuring 21 Savage and Jazmine Sullivan, and “Wiggle” featuring DreamDoll. The 12-song album, which also featured Benny The Butcher, Blxst, Future, Wale, and Wiz Khalifa, was followed up by a deluxe version that added three new songs including “Vacheron” featuring Golden Era veteran AZ and “Not For Nothing” with frequent Ross collaborator Anderson .Paak.

Babyface Ray Shares The ‘My Thoughts 3/Pop’s Prayer’ Video From His Debut Album, ‘Face’

For the past year, Babyface Ray has been a rapper on the rise, standing at the forefront of the emerging Detroit/Michigan underground rap scene along with fellow Motor City natives like Icewear Vezzo and Rio Da Yung OG. Today, he finally arrived as a fully-fledged rap star with the release of his debut album, Face. Along with the album’s release, Ray also shared the video for the standout track “My Thoughts 3,” which splits the video with “Pop’s Prayer.”

In the video, Ray performs the two songs amid snowy Detroit suburbs and overlooking the frozen Lake Michigan with the city center looming over the background. The songs themselves lean toward reflective, as Ray takes stock of this transitory point in his life while he prepares to crossover to being one of the hottest names in rap.

Face, out now via Empire, features 20 songs, with production from big names like DJ Esco, OG Parker, Pooh Beatz, Sledgren, and Southside. Meanwhile, guest artists on the debut album include fellow Detroiters 42 Dugg and Icewear Vezzo, Chicago drill mainstay G Herbo, rising Atlanta songwriter Landstrip Chip (who appears alongside coke rap veteran Pusha T on “Dancing With The Devil“), and world-class cool guy Wiz Khalifa.

OG Parker Details How ‘No Fuss,’ PartyNextDoor’s First Solo Single In Two Years, Came To Life

PartyNextDoor releases are rare — unless you’re the gifted and ingenious producer known as OG Parker, of course.

OG Parker and Party in the studio, creating music? Regular. They are good friends, after all. In the music business, however, just because a producer records a song with an artist, doesn’t mean that the song will actually see the light of day. With that understanding, somehow the award-winning hitmaker was miraculously able to get a solo record from the elusive crooner, and it’s a seductive poetic vibe titled “No Fuss.”

Ready and made for Party, “No Fuss” sees the OVO Sound singer gently opting to be a lover, not a fighter. “Don’t wanna feel pain / Don’t want no fuss or fight,” he insists throughout the song. According to Parker, “No Fuss” was originally a track created from a pool of beats that he had shared. While on a Costa Rica trip, Party played “No Fuss” for Parker for the first time. After hearing it, the beatmaker instantly hinted that he wanted the song for his upcoming EP, Moments. Without hesitation, Party apparently replied, “I got you.”

“He’s literally like my brother so it’s a little different,” Parker explained of the ease it took to obtain such a sonic rarity over a Zoom call. “He’s a very secretive person, he keeps to himself and he only f*cks with people he feels like are family.”

“No Fuss” is the second single to be released from Moments and is the follow-up to 2021’s “Rain” featuring Chris Brown, Layton Greene, Latto, and PnB Rock.

“It’s about 70% to 80% done, I would say, and we’re looking for it to come out a little bit after summer,” he revealed to me in an interview last year. He also mentioned in the same interview that Party (among others) would possibly be on it and here we are with a brand new single less than a year later.

I know fans want to know what this means as far as a new PartyNextDoor project, so I definitely asked. The truth is, we may never know and neither does Parker.

“Nah, I honestly don’t,” Parker told me with a pause and grin when I asked if there’s more PND on the way. “I don’t even like talking about that.”

He quickly assured me that Party is always in the studio and they have a lot of “crazy” music together, though. Whether or not a follow-up to 2020’s Partymobile will arrive in 2022 is a mystery in itself but for now, let’s thank OG Parker for this rare PND audible treat after starving for two, long, years.

Press play on OG Parker and PartyNextDoor’s “No Fuss” up top.

Ben Simmons Sweepstakes Lose A Team Ahead Of Trade Deadline

Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers have been heading towards divorce for a very long time. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been a single solution to this matter, as Simmons continues to hold out from playing, all while the Sixers can’t get a single team to commit to a trade. At this stage, the Sixers simply want way too much for Simmons, and teams are not interested in committing a ton of assets for no reason whatsoever.

The Sacramento Kings were one of the main teams in the running for Simmons, and they had even offered players like Buddy Hield, Tyrese Haliburton, draft picks, and more. Despite these offers, the Sixers refused to budge, even though the Kings seemingly gave them the best package of any team on the market.

Now, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Kings are officially pulling themselves out of the running for Simmons. After putting a ton of effort into getting a deal done, the Kings are fed up of the demands that the Sixers are dishing out. Simmons is simply not worth it for them anymore, and with the trade deadline coming up in two weeks, the Kings are looking elsewhere to improve their basketball team.

As for the Sixers, it seems like GM Daryl Morey has become mum to the fact that Simmons will only be traded in the summer. Needless to say, not an ideal set of circumstances for this Sixers roster.

Kodak Black Responds To People Calling Him Ugly: “I Ain’t Never Been Ugly, And I’m Rich As F*ck”

Kodak Black, 24 year old Florida native, gets comments on his looks often. His hairstyle is unique to the area of Florida he originates from, so the fact that it isn’t widely seen or commonplace might play a role in this. The comments don’t phase or bother him though, and he spoke about it in a few simple sentences on his Instagram story.

Astrida Valigorsky/Getty Images

“A n***a handsome as sh*it. Even though I’m from the ugly corner 1800 Block.” said the “Super Gremlin” rapper. As previously mentioned, this is an area in Florida and his overall style and demeanor is representative of it. Kodak Black frequently speaks about his old neighborhood in his music. He continued to say “Y’all stop playing with me, man. Sometimes people in The Shade Room comments try to play me like I’m ugly or something. I ain’t never been ugly, and I’m rich as f**k.”

Regardless of differing opinions on his looks, the “rich” part of his statement is undeniable. Throughout the duration of the brief Instagram clip, Kodak flashed his grill, watches, chains, and bracelets a multitude of times. With the recent success of his albums and his wildly popular track “Super Gremlin,” which went platinum in 2 months’ time, his finances are surely set for the future. He even flaunted a Maybach to celebrate the success of the aforementioned track.

Maybe taking the time to speak on the subject means that the comments bother him, or maybe he just wanted to flex on how much he doesn’t care. Either way, he’ll still be making money and showing off his diamonds every chance he gets.

Are DDG & Halle Bailey On A Baecation?

DDG and Halle Bailey are stirring up dating rumors again as the two have been spending more and more time together. Whether or not they are posting photos together, social media users have noticed many similarities in their Instagram posts. Some are even asking in Halle’s comments if DDG took the photos.

The rapper and the singer both posted on Instagram last night, with their locations revealing crystal clear waters. DDG had his location revealing the Maldives Islands, while Halle kept her location a mystery. Despite the missing geotag, it’s easy for fans to assume they are in the same place, especially since they have already been spotted together a few times.

The Little Mermaid actress and DDG were recently seen attending Usher’s Residency in Las Vegas. A video of the pair sitting together at the performance went viral as fans revealed their opinions about the rumored relationship. Although, neither of the two has released any comments confirming their relationship.

The two were also rumored to have been on another vacation together earlier this year as they were both posting photos in a snowy location, regardless of the fact neither of the two disclosed if they were in the same place. Meanwhile, fans also noticed at the time that DDG’s ex Rubi Rose had also been posting all bundled up in her winter wear a day later…

DDG had previously been linked with Rubi Rose as they were known for some of their messy situations throughout their on-and-off relationship.

Do you think DDG and Halle Bailey make a cute couple?

UPDATE: Pusha T’s Manager Steven Victor Says He’s Still With Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music

Pusha T recently posted to his Instagram page with a picture of a signed contract. The image drew all kinds of speculation, considering the caption didn’t delve into any details about the contract’s stipulations and/or components. Many believed that Pusha T was leaving Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music label (on positive terms). The one thing the caption did was mention Kanye West, and the misunderstandings stemmed and branched out from that point.

Steven Victor made some clarifications on the topic in a conversation with Complex. Victor, manager to Pusha T, told the publication: “He’s still G.O.O.D. Music, he’s just not signed to Def Jam anymore.” The contract in question reflects Pusha T’s fulfilled contractual obligations to Def Jam, not G.O.O.D. Music itself. Victor continued on to say that Pusha T’s upcoming album, It’s Not Dry Yet (INDY), “is his last album on Def Jam.”

These updates make a lot of sense. What many consider to be Pusha T’s solo magnum-opus, Daytona, was entirely produced by his “brother” Kanye West.

Victor explained a bit more, stating that Push and Kanye are locked in 100%. “He might re-sign with Def Jam, it’s just the whole point of it is that he’s still with Kanye regardless to wherever he ends up with his next projects. It will be with Kanye.”

Steven Victor took to Twitter to clarify this misunderstanding on a social platform as well. He tweeted out “STILL WITH YEZOS !!!!!!!!!,” referencing the name that Pusha T used to refer to Ye in his Instagram caption. It would seem that everything is G.O.O.D. after all.

After the success and acclaim of Daytona, are you happy to hear that Pusha T and Ye aren’t parting ways musically? Share your thoughts below.
