Miley Cyrus Endures Wardrobe Malfunction During NYE Performance

Miley Cyrus’ 2021 consisted of several notable live performances. The multi-genre pop star hit the stage with artists like The Kid LAORIG Herbo and Megan Thee Stallion, as well as hosting Saturday Night Live earlier this month with Pete Davidson.

For NBC’s New Year’s Eve special last night, Miley and Pete linked up again to be the show’s hosts. As they celebrated the end of a hectic 2021, Miley was tasked with entertaining the crowd by performing some of the biggest hits of her career.

Of these hits, Miley decided to play “Party in the USA,” which some would consider the most beloved song in her catalog. She had briefly retired the song during Donald Trump’s presidency because the Trump team used it during his campaign. However, after Joe Biden was elected to take over the oval office last fall, she reinstated the song to celebrate the candidate she endorsed: “Now THIS is a PARTY IN THE USA! @JoeBiden @KamalaHarris”

When performing “Party in the USA” last night on NBC, however, she had a wardrobe malfunction as the top of her outfit came undone. Instead of pausing the show to perhaps go backstage and rectify the situation, she decided to power through. Without a hitch, she continued performing the party anthem for a stellar showing.

She played off the situation well, joking about saucy, nearly-nude outfits she has rocked in the past: “Okay, people are officially watching my t*ts out. This is still the most amount of clothes I’ve worn onstage.”

Rihanna Shows Off Savage X Fenty Lingerie To Welcome In The New Year

Rihanna celebrated the new year by sharing several new photos and a video on Instagram to show off a lace set from her lingerie brand, Savage X Fenty. The singer also reflected on living up to her New Year’s resolutions.

“When you actually lived up to your New Years resolution….pressure applied,” she captioned one photo, with a check mark emoji.

If her New Year’s resolution was to build the Savage X Fenty brand, it was unquestionably a success. Back in February, the company reached a $1 billion valuation, and in August, Rihanna became a billionaire herself.

“New year, same savage,” Rihanna captioned the video.

In the new posts, she can be seen modeling the Romantic Corded Lace Push Up Bra ($64.95), the Lace Brazilian ($22.95), and the Lace Garter Skirt ($44.95).

Rihanna’s focus on building her fashion brand has fans desperate for new music. The last album released by the Barbadian singer was Anti, back in 2016. Recent comments, however, have given fans hope that 2022 might bless them with new music from Rihanna. Earlier this month, she told the paparazzi that it’s coming “soon,” and is “going to be worth it.

George Lopez Has Ambulance Called For Him As He Felt Sick Mid-Show

Each year on New Year’s Eve, the stars come out to either perform or make appearances to join the nationwide holiday celebration. In accordance with that tradition, beloved actor-comedian George Lopez planned to do the same yesterday in Auburn, WA yesterday at a casino for his fans.

Before he was set to perform a comedy set at 8 p.m. local time at Muckleshoot Casino Resort, George took the stage around 4 p.m. to greet the crowd. However, at this time, George was visibly ill, and struggling on stage. He kept apologizing to the crowd for being out of sorts, and eventually exited the stage for medical attention.

While an ambulance was called to tend to him, it is unclear if he was taken to the hospital or not. The resort soon released a statement about his future set being cancelled: “It is with sincere apologies that we must announce the cancellation of tonight’s 8 pm performance by George Lopez. Please contact your point-of-sale for refund information.”

According to TMZ, a source at the event named Sabrina Alvarez said the whole crowd could sense something was wrong with Lopez: “You could tell something was wrong, but it was not clear what was wrong.”

As the Omicron variant of COVID-19 surges across the country, it has not been revealed what sickness George was fighting yesterday. Hopefully more information will come out soon and he will be safe and healthy in the future.

The Weeknd Teases New Album: “Let’s Just Drop The Whole Thing”

The Weeknd says he won’t be doing an extended rollout for his upcoming album and instead wants to “just drop the whole thing.” The Canadian singer teased his upcoming project by sharing a text conversation he had with La Mar Taylor, the co-founder of XO Records, on Instagram to kick off the new year.

“Happy New Year brother! What we thinking??” Taylor asked The Weeknd.

He answered: “Happy new year! Everything feels chaotic again. Music can heal and that feels more important than another album rollout. Let’s just drop the whole thing and enjoy it with the people… XO.”

He also included a picture of a smashed iPhone.

Neither The Weekend nor Taylor revealed a title or release date for the highly anticipated album. His last project, After Hours, was released in 2020.

While The Weeknd didn’t release a new album in 2021, he stayed busy by dropping several popular collaborative singles including a remix to “Save Your Tears” with Ariana Grande, appearing on Doja Cat’s “You Right,” and several more. Additionally, he was named the Global Artist of the Year at the 2021 Apple Music Awards.

Adele To Buy Sylvester Stallone’s Beverly Hills Mansion

Adele’s comeback to chart-dominating pop music in 2021 was as spectacular as advertised. Her fourth studio album 30, the first Adele album in six years, was one of the highest selling projects of the year. Although she plans to perform the album every weekend in Las Vegas for the next few months, she still loves the LA life.

This week, Adele began the process of purchasing a new home in Beverly Hills. The previous owner, Rocky star Sylvester Stallone, had been living there since the 1990s, but is now moving across the country to Miami. The 3.6-level acre property has six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a gym, sauna, steam room, infinity pool, cigar room, screening room, custom bar, art studio, 2-story guest house and much more.

When Stallone first decided to move back in February, the house was listed at $110 million, but with no takers at that price, he lowered it to $80 million. However, it seems that Adele’s realtor got her a great deal, as she looks to pay $58 million for the property instead.

This will be Adele’s third home in Los Angeles, as she had reportedly been looking for a larger place to stay than her current two Hidden Valley homes nearby.

It seems that the success of her new album, tied with the fact that she is dating Rich Paul, sports agent for Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, has led the British singer to anchor down in Hollywood.

“Squid Game” Creator Is Reportedly Already In Talks With Netflix Regarding Season 3

It’s been a few weeks since Netflix’s Squid Game took over the news cycle, but according to Complex, it likely won’t be long until the South Korean series makes its way back onto our social media feeds. Back in November, it was confirmed by director Hwang Dong-hyuk that season two was already in the works, but now, it’s being reported that the creator is already discussing the possibility of a third season with the streamer as well.

The focus of the forthcoming second installment is said to be “the story of [Lee Jung Jae‘s character] Seong Gi Hun unravelling [the mysteries of the organization behind the game],” according to an interview given by Dong-hyuk awhile back.

“The overarching plotline of Season 2 will be the story of the people that Gi Hun meets and the people he chases after.” The director added that, as far as season three goes, it’s likely that he and the platform will “be reaching some sort of conclusion [to their discussions] soon.” The 50-year-old Seoul native said, “We know that many people are waiting, so everyone is working hard to prepare for the next season with a positive outlook.”

Following the confirmation of Squid Game‘s return in November, Dong-hyuk told the media, “I have the basic storyline, the broad plan, so we’re in the brainstorming stages. I think with the success as big as this one, I almost feel like it would not make sense to create a Season 2 and I also feel like there are going to be some fans kind of trying to stalk me where I live and do something to me if I don’t give them a second season. So I’m going to go ahead and say there will be a second season. But as for when I cannot tell you now.”

Normani Previews New Single & Drops Off Hot Selfies On IG Ahead Of The New Year

Normani is sending 2021 out with a bang. On the last day of the year, the former Fifth Harmony member gave her followers a taste of what she’s been working on in the studio as of late.

In a clip uploaded to her Instagram page this afternoon, the 25-year-old can be seen sitting in her vehicle with the windows up, music faintly playing in the background. As she rolls the window down, we see her in a barely-there shimmery top, a pair of black leather pants, and some matching sunglasses, and sparkly earrings, singing along to the moody track.

“Dear 2022,” she captioned the clip, which concludes with Normani rolling the window back up as the camera pans up into the sky. From the looks of things, we can expect some seriously amazing releases from the “Wild Side” singer as we welcome the new year.

Elsewhere on the app, the Atlanta-born singer shared a sultry photo dump showing off her on-brand outfit for the evening. Some snapshots find her posing (and casually thirst trapping with some side boob), while a video in the middle zooms in on the gorgeous chainmail detailing of her shirt. “Willing to bet on myself,” she captioned the post, proving to her followers that her energy in 2022 will be anything but meek.

The second last photo gives us a back view of the performer’s look, and others see her seated in what looks like the same car where she recorded the preview of her forthcoming release.

It remains unclear when we’ll hear new music from Normani, but after seeing what she did with her live performances and the music video for “Wild Side” this year, we can’t wait to see what she’s cooking up in the future.
