This is a Verzuz that hasn’t even been confirmed and already it has caused havoc in Hip Hop debates. After Dr. Dre sparked interest in discussing who could go toe-to-toe with Eminem, Swizz Beatz shook things up by seemingly suggesting that Busta Rhymes would be a formidable opponent in a Verzuz match. There has been much talk about the desire to see Busta revisit his extensive catalog on the Verzuz stage but some have suggested that the rapper’s peers are too afraid to face off against him.

After a Busta and Em pairing was suggested, Hip Hop fans weighed in heavily with their choice of a winner. While visiting the Jalen & Jacoby podcast, Bay Area legend E-40 shared his thoughts on the hot topic and has decided that Busta would take out Eminem anyday.

“Busta Rhymes would eat Eminem in a Verzuz battle. I really believe that,” said E-40. “Busta Rhymes goes crazy, because, now, it’s turned into a performance type of situation. Busta Rhymes is animated, he got gas, he raps fast, all that. He do all that stuff that Eminem do. And Busta Rhymes got up-tempo slaps that get the party goin‘. Anytime you got up-tempo slaps, you’re gonna win.”

He made sure to praise Eminem as well, calling the Detroit icon “legendary.” However, E-40 would still place his bets on Bussa Buss. “The stuff he did with Mariah (Carey) and the stuff he did with Craig Mack…and he got his own slaps, and he’s animated.” Watch a clip of E-40 speaking about his Rap peers below.

The internet has been buzzing about the lawsuit recently filed against Chris Brown, but the singer is denying the allegations. Yesterday (January 27), we reported on the breaking news that Brown was facing a new lawsuit. According to reports, a woman only known at this time as Jane Doe alleged that Brown invited her to a yacht party at Diddy’s Miami, Star Island home. She accused Brown of drugging her before raping her in a bedroom.

Jane Doe is reportedly seeking $20 million in damages, and not long after the news began to circulate, Brown surfaced with a response.

“I HOPE YALL SEE THIS PATTERN OF [cap emoji],” he wrote. “Whenever im releasing music or projects, ‘THEY’ try to pull some real bullsh*t.” Later, he uploaded a photo of himself wearing several baseball caps to further emphasize his denial. Meanwhile, Tory Lanez jumped into the conversation to stick up for his friend.

“They really need to leave my dawg @ChrisBrownOfficial alone and just let him be great !!!!” wrote Lanez. “Everytime he got some good sh*t going on … or he start a album rollout here somebody come with some fake sh*t to drag him down !!!!! I’ve literally never seen the man be nothing but nice as f*ck to his fans and peers !!! Let the GOAT be the GOAT.”

Lanez’s remarks made him a target of the internet as people brought up his ongoing case with Megan Thee Stallion. Read through a few mixed reactions regarding this news below.

Kash Doll may have just welcomed her first son with Tracy T, but the 32-year-old is already thinking about adding another bundle of joy to their family. Earlier this week, the BMF actress hopped on her Twitter page to share her hopes for her second baby with her followers.

“I want a daughter, but how she’s gonna get here?” she wrote on Thursday evening, earning thousands of responses and tens of thousands of likes. Of course, some replied with smartass answers about how babies are made, but others took it upon themselves to remind the “No Lames” rapper that she’s already got a child.

“Girl you just had a son, let him get at least one first to think about [another] child,” one user responded to Kash. She was quick to shut down the critic, quote tweeting them and adding “I’m just saying future wise.. Damn.”

Others added, “them contractions will have you reconsidering baby #2 lol” and “nearest orphanage and adoption centre mami, let’s research together.”

When sharing the first photo of little Kashton Prophet Richardson, the new mother called her son “the love of [her] life.” “I’ve never felt this way before y’all, somebody finally have me wrapped around his finger,” she added in the sweet IG post.

Earlier this month, Kash Doll also clapped back at haters on Twitter who told the Detroit-born rapper that they were tired of seeing her sex toy ads. “Mute me, sis. They paid $15,000,” the Stacked hitmaker responded – read more about that here.

Rumours that Kanye West was scouting Los Angeles’ Skid Row for models began running rampant earlier this week, but representatives for the 44-year-old rapper have since shut those down. An exclusive report reveals that, while “Ye has a deep and solution-oriented commitment to addressing issues surrounding homelessness,” the claims are simply not true.

“This reported event is not on our schedule at this time nor are we aware of any product collaboration in development,” a Yeezy GAP spokesperson told the New York Post.

Initial reports alleged that the father of four has been working in tandem with Skid Row Fashion Week founder David Sabastian on a joint streetwear production, which was said to “have been largely inspired by the inhabitants of Los Angeles’ neglected Skid Row.”

TMZ claimed that Ye’s homeless-influenced clothing line would debut on February 22nd. It was also shared that a fashion show would take place, with homeless people residing in the area modelling the garments and 100% of the proceeds being donated to people in need.

While West may not be going through with Skid Row Fashion Week, he has been hard at work on Donda 2, which has a release date of February 22nd – though time will tell if it actually arrives on DSPs on time.

Tisha Campbell has some words to share with the men who she believes tried to sex traffick her while she was in Texas working on a film, TMZ reports.

A source close to the Little Shop of Horrors actress has told the outlet that the incident took place in Brownsville, which is approximately 10 minutes from the Mexican border. Campbell has been staying at a hotel in the area and was reportedly given a number to call for a taxi by another guest whose identity remains unknown.

Tisha has explained that there were no Ubers available in the area, but when the “taxi” arrived, she said that a man hopped out of the backseat, and “barked” at her to get in the vehicle, which is when she “knew things were very sketchy.”

The 53-year-old told him “no” as both he and the driver continued to insist that she enter the vehicle. Eventually, she told them to “f*ck off” before going back inside to the front desk where she informed the hotel staff of what had just happened.

The employee on duty was unsure why Campbell had been given the number, and the identity of both men remains unknown. The Oklahoma native didn’t contact authorities, and workers assured that she made it out of the area safely and without any further harassment.

“They got me f*cked up,” she has said of her alleged attackers. “I ain’t Gina bitch!”

Ezra Miller has a message for the Ku Klux Klan. On Thursday, January 27th, the 29-year-old shared a cryptic video to their Instagram feed, seemingly threatening members of the problematic organization’s North Carolina chapter.

“Look, if y’all want to die, I suggest just killing yourselves with your own guns, okay?” they told viewers, pointing their fingers at the camera while speaking. “Otherwise, keep doing exactly what you’re doing right now – and you know what I am talking about – then, you know, we’ll do it for you, if that’s really what you want. Talk to you soon, OK. Bye.”

In the caption, The Perks of Being a Wallflower star wrote, “please disseminate (gross!) this video to all those whom it may concern. This is not a joke and even though I do recognize myself to be a clown please trust me and take this seriously.”

“Let’s save some [lives] now ok babies? Love you like woah,” they concluded. As The Hollywood Reporter notes, it remains unclear exactly what prompted Miller to upload the video, and his rep could not be immediately reached for comment.

The New Jersey-born entertainer began trending after his rant caught the internet’s attention, with many people admitting that they were taken aback by Miller’s words. “Are you okay? Are you literally in danger I’m not even being sarcastic when I ask this,” one user wrote in the comments

John Wall has been stuck with the Houston Rockets for about two seasons now, and it is very obvious that he wants out. Wall has not played at all this season, and as it stands, the Rockets are working on a solution to find him a new team. Unfortunately, it is not going that well simply because Wall has arguably the worst contract in the entire NBA. On top of that, he is injury-prone, and not every team wants to deal with something like that.

Recently, there have been reports that Wall could be traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for the likes of Russell Westbrook, who has already played for the Rockets before. As wild as these reports may seem, there are some executives who could see it happening at the trade deadline.

Skip Bayless is one analyst who believes this would be a good move, and apparently, John wall does too. In the tweet below, Wall was caught liking Bayless’ tweet about the potential trade, which seems to indicate that the Rockets star wouldn’t mind playing with LeBron James and Anthony Davis. After all, with Wall on the roster, the Lakers would have better shooting, and they wouldn’t have a turnover liability as they do.

Azealia Banks to the rescue! Earlier this week, the Tarantula hitmaker took to her Instagram story to defend hip-hop legend Lil’ Kim, who was allegedly slandered by 38-year-old Bad Trip actor Eric André.

The Harlem native didn’t hold back as her rant began, writing, “I’m going on the @ericfuckingandre show to ask him why his mixed mutt ass thinks he has the right to make derogatory posts about the legendary Lil’ Kim’s looks when his mom looks like Tom Green and his dad looks like Tiffany Haddish with a mustache.”

“Nah y’all have really made it culturally okay to mistreat Lil’ Kim for decades and that shit makes my f*cking blood boil,” the “212” singer continued. “Just thinking about the sheer lack of respect and gratitude she gets for her contributions to women’s culture in general, let alone rap music, compared to the way y’all deify a lot of these ain’t shit rap n*ggas and call them ‘OGs’ makes me wanna fight everybody.”

Banks went on to empathize with the pain she imagines the 47-year-old has endured over the years. “How come none of y’all make fun of ugly ass Ed Sheeran the same way? Why is Bruno Mars allowed to look like the Hawaiian Punch man and get away with it? HOW ARE Y’ALL LETTING ROCKY OUT THE HOUSE IN A PEPLUM SHIRT WITH HIS BACK OUT?!?!”

On the next slide, the 30-year-old tagged André once again, telling the comedian that “his biracial card doesn’t hit,” going on to list “cute ass biracial kids” like Jesse Williams, Zendaya, Drake, Tinashe, Rashida Jones, Doja Cat, Obama, and even the “Kardashian-West spawn.”

“His mother’s inbred eggs and father’s faulty sperm created one of the ugliest mutts in the history of man,” Banks asserted. “A pound puppy. You have no right to comment on the appearance of one of the world’s most prolific pure-blooded Black queens.”
