Russell Wilson Reveals His Goals For The Rest Of His Career
Russell Wilson had a very successful start to his career in the NFL as he immediately won a Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks. Unfortunately, this success tapered off after going to a second Super Bowl in 2015. Wilson always has a solid start to the season, but the team trails off at the end. This year, the Seahawks have had numerous problems on the field, and there are rumors that Wilson will want to bounce due to the team’s lack of performance.
Wilson has been adamant that he wants to stay in Seattle and ride things out. At this point, it’s hard to imagine Wilson playing for any other team, especially given all that he has done in the community.

While speaking to reporters today, Wilson made the revealed what he hopes to do with the rest of his NFL career. As Bob Condotta reports, Wilson is looking to win three more Super Bowls to end his time in the league. He was also asked about whether or not he could do it in Seattle, and as it turns out, Wilson is hoping for this to be the case.
This should be good news for Seahawks fans who have been hyper-aware of Wilson’s current predicament. Hopefully, these comments will help quell some of the rumors that continue to circulate.
“The Joe Budden Podcast” Boasts Insane Year-End Stats After Rory & Mal Split: Report
At the end of every year, fans and artists alike go to social media to share their year-end streaming numbers, and this week, The Joe Budden Podcast has come forward with an impressive stats sheet of its own. This year notoriously found both Rory and Mal — two of the show’s longest-running cohosts — booted from the show after an irreparable rift between Joe Budden and Rory, so countless fans have been checking to see if its viewership faltered throughout all of the drama.
However, The Joe Budden Podcast‘s self-reported numbers suggest that it hasn’t. Additionally, all of the numbers featured in its “2021 Audio Breakdown” exclude views on Patreon, and even with that major audience being unaccounted for in the year-end rundown, it appears that the JBP is showing no signs of stopping.

According to HipHopDX, The JBP managed to accumulate over two million plays per week for a total of 104,000,000 plays in 2021, despite the Rory and Mal-related drama. Furthermore, the podcast boasted a 78% average completion rate while releasing an average of two podcasts, which averaged out at three hours and 15 minutes each, every week.
Check out the full infographic, posted by The Joe Budden Podcast‘s official Twitter account, below.
While many fans have been quick to admit that they were wrong to assume that the podcast would fail without Rory and Mal, others have pointed out one of the glaring statistics featured on the stat sheet: the “Countries Reached” section. The JBP reports that it reached 214 countries in 2021, but some fans aren’t too sure about that figure, considering that the United Nations only recognizes 195 countries in the world. Whether that number was padded or merely the result of a typo, the rest of the numbers featured in The Joe Budden Podcast‘s “2021 Audio Breakdown” are definitely impressive.
Are you surprised that Joe Budden’s podcast is still doing so well following Rory and Mal’s exit earlier this year? Let us know in the comments what you think about these year-end numbers.

Fivio Foreign Previews “Say My Name” Song Sampling Destiny’s Child
Having the best year by far of his career in 2021, it looks like next year’s campaign might be even most impactful for New York rapper Fivio Foreign. The 31-year-old drill rapper performed the verse of his lifetime on Kanye West’s “Off The Grid,” which was a very obvious verse of the year contender. Now, it looks like he plans to follow that up with his highly-anticipated single “Say My Name,” which he has been teasing for a few months.
As his team looks to lock down a sample clearance for Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name” on the record, Fivio appears to have finished the recording and mixing process, sharing a sample of what to expect after adding a female vocalist to the track.
“Guess who,” wrote Fivio, previewing the song on TikTok. The record appears to feature Queen Naija, who hinted that it’s her voice in the comments.
Back when we interviewed Fivio at Rolling Loud in New York a few months ago, he spoke about this song and said that, because Beyoncé is signed to Columbia like him, the process of clearing her sample was easier than some may have thought.
“She’s signed to Columbia! But I fuck with Beyonce. Like I’ve been a fan of Beyonce since I was young. So that’s what’s coming up next. You know me, I stick to the script,” he said at the time.
It looks like “Say My Name” is still being planned for his next big single, considering his promo this week. What do you think of the record?
@fivioforeign If the answer is correct. I’m sayin who it is ❗️
Fat Joe Gets Cooked Over New Photo: “Gotta Stop Painting That Damn Beard”
The internet remains undefeated. A few short months after Fat Joe’s beard stole the show during Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather’s fight, the rapper is trending again. This time, people are talking about a new photo as hundreds of fans believe that Joe either painted his beard on or used a permanent marker to get the look.
Sharing a picture of himself on a park bench, Joe flexed his new outfit but that wasn’t what people caught first. It seems as though everybody’s eyes gravitated toward the rapper’s chin, noticing that his beard was significantly darker than in other photos from over the years.

“Airbrushed beard flow,” commented Tierra Whack on the picture. DJ Khaled, N.O.R.E., and others all left supportive messages in the comments, but his fans weren’t as kind, taking Whack’s approach.
“Bro, chill with that Crayola,” said one person. “Sharpie skills are on point,” added another. “Just switch the beard Joe before the price go down,” pleaded a fan.
It’s safe to say that his beard did not go unnoticed. So many people have taken to social media to sound off on how the 51-year-old’s beard looks, wondering if his barber painted it on or if he did this himself. One thing’s for sure — there aren’t too many people who think this is natural.

Ladies and gents, the final UPROXX Sessions performance of 2021 is here. In typical OPM fashion, Niko comes through with a mellow performance of his laid-back September single, “Never Change,” vowing to “always keep it player” — the overarching theme of his July 2020 project, pLAyer 4ever.
His first full-length since 2017’s Roll The Dice 2, pLAyer 4ever features appearances from the Bay Area rising star Larry June, Niko’s fellow LA native Mani Coolin, and, of course, OPM general Dom Kennedy. Black Teen Died In Police Custody, Ruled A Homicide
The recent death of 17-year old Cedric Lofton has been ruled a homocide. A Black teen that was in the custody of Kansas Police, died from “complications of cardiopulmonary arrest” according to an autopsy report reviewed by the New York Times. At the time of his death, Lofton was forced to lay face down before being handcuffed during which he also sustained a brain injury, acute respiratory failure, and acute kidney injury.
According to chief medical examiner Dr. Timothy S. Gorrill, the manner of his death was a homicide. “In my opinion, Cedric Lofton died as a result of complications of cardiopulmonary arrest sustained after physical struggle while restrained in the prone position,” Gorrill stated.

On Sept. 24th, Lofton’s foster parents called authorities, claiming Lofton was acting “erratic and aggressive”. Lofton allegedly resisted arrest and assaulted at least one officer. He was then transferred to a juvenile center and placed in a cell around 2:45 a.m. Authorities believe at around 4:25 a.m, the teen became “agitated” and assaulted staff. There were reports of a struggle during which Lofton was placed in the prone position shortly before he lost consciousness. He was transferred to a local hospital and died two days later.
The teen’s family is now seeking criminal charges against all law enforcement that were involved in his death. Representation for Lofton’s biological parents and his older brother stated, “You have an unarmed 135-pound teenager in custody that, without cause or provocation, is killed.” He continued, “the autopsy report is significant because it shows objective evidence about what happened.”
The DA’s office is expected to determine whether to pursue criminal charges next month, but County DA Marc Bennett pointed out that just because an autopsy report claims “manner of death” as a homicide, doesn’t necessarily mean a crime occurred.
