Kirk Cousins & The Vikings Get Devastating COVID-19 Update

Every single major sports league in North America is having a hard time with COVID-19 right now. The pandemic continues to rage on and numerous players throughout the NFL have been getting it pretty bad when it comes to the virus. With the playoffs on the horizon, it is clear that teams need all hands on deck, however, that might not be possible as the cases continue to mount.

For the Minnesota Vikings, their playoff hopes are pretty well out the window, however, they still want to finish the season off strong. This weekend, they will be going up against the Green Bay Packers, and after defeating them the last time out, there was hope that they could do it all over again.

According to Adam Schefter, that task has just gotten a lot harder as the Vikings have lost Kirk Cousins this weekend due to COVID-19. Cousins started feeling some symptoms recently and it forced him to get a test. That’s when Cousins ended up testing positive, ultimately forcing him out for at least five days. Now, the Viking swill have to play Sean Mannion who is on his way off the COVID reserve list.

This remains a developing story so stay tuned to HNHH as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest updates and details.

Drake Wishes LeBron James A Happy Birthday With Hilarious Photo

December 30th was a big day for LeBron James as he officially turned 37 years old. Despite his age, LeBron is still one of the best players in the NBA and over the last six games, he has managed six-straight 30-point games. While he may not be as great as Michael Jordan, there is no doubt that LeBron is at the very least the second greatest basketball player to ever step on an NBA court.

With LeBron celebrating his birthday, many took to Instagram and Twitter to wish him a very happy birthday. One of those people was none other than Drake who has been friends with LeBron for a very long time. Despite LeBron’s ability to destroy Drake’s beloved Raptors, the rapper figured yesterday was a good time to at least show some love to his good friend.

“More life to one of my best friend’s the [king]” Drake wrote. This was paired with a hilarious image of Drake cheesing and laughing while speaking to LeBron at an event. It just goes to show that these two really are friends off of the court, something that was demonstrated when Drake was on The Shop all the way back in 2018.

Hopefully, LeBron had a wonderful birthday, even despite all the issues with the Lakers right now. After all, sometimes you got separate your job from the rest of your life.

MESSIAH! & Mavi Sink A Buzzer Beater With “SO MUCH HATE”

Earlier this week, Mavi and MESSIAH! celebrated Kwanza by dropping off a gift for their fans, an uplifting three-minute track titled “Kujichagulia (M.O.E).” Days later, the two artists have returned with another equally impressive collaboration, right in time for New Year’s Eve.

Titled “SO MUCH HATE,” MESSIAH! and Mavi’s latest track finds the close collaborators questioning aloud why people insist on hating on others, and over the course of four minutes, each of the Charlotte, NC artists delivers bar after bar after bar. The song’s soulful Nova Blu production ties everything together, making for a light-hearted, yet lyrically dense effort from the KILLSWITCH rappers

Check out MESSIAH! and Mavi’s second new track of the week below, and let us know in the comments which lines are your favorite from “SO MUCH HATE.”

Quotable Lyrics

I put a pin in it, they opinions pebbles in my ocean
And they still fishing, I just gotta deal with it
Ultimately, I’m a opal, so I gleam different
Light hit different, Cuban, I can buy your whip with it
I don’t ever get no time to think, it make me quick with it
Walk inside the label, and I think like Iceberg Slim with it

Lil Uzi Vert Flexes His Latest Facial Piercing

Lil Uzi Vert is one of the most fashionable artists out there, so it should come as no surprise that he is always looking to get new body modifications, especially on his face. Everyone remembers just a few months ago when Uzi opted to get a special pink diamond for his face, which ended up being more of a health hazard than anything else. In the end, Uzi stopped wearing it, but that hasn’t stopped him from getting some other pieces of jewelry.

For instance, the artist recently hit up a pierce so that he could get a special double-piercing on his left cheek. As you will see in the video below, Uzi was a champion while getting the piercing, as he barely flinched the whole time.

The piercing Uzi got was a nice double stud that is attached by a silver chain. The actual piece of jewelry looks pretty good, and it matches his other work quite nicely. From the ear piercings to his lip to his nose, the cheek piercing definitely does not look out of place here at all.

At this point, it wouldn’t be surprising if Uzi got some piercings in more provocative locations in and around his face. After all, he did once put a diamond in his forehead. With that being said, fans should expect even more creativity.

Chris Bosh Teases Fans With A Return To The Court

Chris Bosh is already in the Basketball Hall of Fame, although that has not stopped fans from asking if he will ever come back to the NBA. Bosh was forced to retire a few years ago due to blood clot issues, and it was a huge blow to the Miami Heat given everything he had done for the organization. Luckily, his contributions were enough to get him into the Hall of Fame and receive recognition amongst some of the best to ever play the game.

As for the Miami Heat, they are currently dealing with an abundance of COVID cases, and it forced them to sign former Heat star Mario Chalmers. Of course, Chalmers played with Bosh, and the story inspired Bosh to tease fans with a potential return.

Hey @mchalmers15 tell them we can bring back the ol pick and roll! Let’s get the band back together! I’m in shape,” Bosh wrote. It remains to be seen if Bosh was actually serious about making a return, although for now, we will venture a guess and say this was simply a joke. After all, Bosh does have health issues that could prevent him from taking the court.

If he were to return, however, it would be a huge win for the Heat fanbase. Bosh is a beloved player and it would certainly be a fun comeback story to commence 2022.

HNHH’s 2021 New Year’s Eve Playlist

It’s hard to believe that another year has passed, and so many things have changed (and yet, haven’t– as many places return to strict rules and lockdowns in the wake of the omicron variant).

Kim and Kanye got divorced; Kanye and Drake rekindled their friendship; R. Kelly was convicted while Bill Cosby was released from prison. Biden entered the White House. Honestly, it’s just been a wild year, but there have been some glimpses of normalcy amidst it all. For one, the increase in vaccines and testing allowed for in-person gatherings to become a bit more frequent, including concerts and festivals.

With all of the highs and lows of 2021, we need to cap off the year with the right vibes. Fortunately for you, we’re here to provide you with straight fire for your NYE playlist, filled with some of the best bangers of the year. Of course, projects like CLB and DONDA offered some immediate highlights but it was the newcomers who truly shined this year, like EST Gee and Nardo Wick. It was only right that they held a few places on the playlist as well. We also got new music from Rick Ross, Roddy Ricch, Money Man, Baby Keem, and more.

Check out the NYE playlist below.

Hit-Boy Forsees A Playboi Carti Collaboration

Hit-Boy’s production discography is immaculate, and as he concludes a year in which he has supplied Nas, Big Sean, Don Toliver, Nardo Wick, Russ, Cordae, Conway The Machine, Sada Baby, Tee Grizzley, Maxo Kream, and countless others with top-tier beats, Hit-Boy is already eyeing his next collaborator for 2022.

On Thursday, the Grammy Award-winning producer gave his fans and followers a lot of insight into the music that he is currently working on, from a half-finished album with Snoop Dogg to an album worth of material ready to go with both Roddy Ricch and Don Toliver. However, the biggest surprise of the day came when Hit-Boy revealed that he may have something in the works with Playboi Carti.

In one of his recent Instagram posts, Hit-Boy shared a screenshot of his DMs with the Whole Lotta Red artist, and although most of their conversation is redacted, one final message from Carti is visible: “I’m with u 4Ever.”

For the post’s caption, Hit-Boy wrote, “My brudda @playboicarti tapped in we haven’t worked since ‘Other Shit’ off his first album. y’all @ my boy and tell him y’all wanna see us back in.”

Revisit Hit-Boy and Playboi Carti’s previous collaboration, the Playboi Carti track “Other Shit,” below, and let us know in the comments if you’re excited to hear what the artist and producer are working on.

Lakers Trade Rajon Rondo To The Cavaliers: Details

This season has not been a good one for the Los Angeles Lakers as they have taken numerous missteps. The team is currently sitting at a record of 17-19 which puts them on the verge of being ousted from playoff contention. It’s a harsh reality for a team that brought on a ton of veterans this season, including Rajon Rondo who played for the Lakers when they won the title back in 2020.

Unfortunately, Rondo hasn’t experienced much playing time this season, and it seemed like the Lakers simply weren’t interested in changing that. Now, those suspicions have been confirmed as it was revealed by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN that Rondo has been dealt to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for Denzel Valentine.

As Woj reports, the Lakers will probably waive Valentine so that they can have an open roster spot that can be taken up by anyone of their choice. It remains to be seen who the Lakers will seek out here, although it should be interesting to see what the Lakers decide to do in the early stages of 2022.

Of course, the trade deadline is also coming up soon, so that will only make things more interesting. With that in mind, keep it locked to HNHH for all of the latest updates from around the NBA.

Quelly Woo Ends 2021 On A High Note With Brief New Project, “TOP PROSPECT”

In February, rising artist Quelly Woo dropped Tactical Pressure, a 9-track EP that sonically followed in the footsteps of the late Brooklyn Drill star Pop Smoke, and now, on the final day of 2021, he has returned with his second project of the year: TOP PROSPECT.

Like its winter predecessor, TOP PROSPECT does not come laced with any guest verses, but Quelly Woo is able to keep things interesting with a myriad of iconic and recognizable samples. On the intro track “Times Like This,” Quelly delivers a hungry performance over a tweaked version of Meek Mill’s “Dreams and Nightmares (Intro),” and on “UPGRADE YOU,” Quelly confidently attacks the instrumental to Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 2006 hit collab of the same name. The project’s production also pulls inspiration from more recently released tracks, such as Lil Uzi Vert’s sentimental Luv Is Rage 2 album cut “Dear Mama” and StaySolidRocky’s 2020 TikTok smash “Party Girls.”

In the end, the uncanny similarities between Quelly Woo and Pop Smoke may still be a lot for new listeners to accept, but with TOP PROSPECT, the Canarsie artist inches closer to carving out a lane of his own. Check out the ten-track project below, and let us know in the comments which song is your favorite.

2. SIZZLE
3. MAMBA MENTALITY
4. Motion
5. Clutch
