Blazers Reportedly Offered This For Ben Simmons

It is well known at this point that the Philadelphia 76ers have been shopping around Ben Simmons. His time in Philadelphia is coming to an end soon, and the Sixers want as much value for him as possible. There have been plenty of rumors as to where he could possibly go, with the Portland Trail Blazers at the top of that list. Damian Lillard needs a high-caliber player to align with, and many believe that Simmons could be that guy since he wouldn’t have to play the point.

In a new report from The Athletic, it was revealed that former Blazers GM Neil Olshey had offered the Sixers a package for Simmons, although the Sixers wanted more. That package included CJ McCollum, a first-round pick, and a young star with a lot of potential. As you will read, the Sixers wanted a lot more and the Blazers were not having it.

Per The Athletic:

“Sources say the Trail Blazers, under Olshey, discussed the framework of a trade for Simmons, moving CJ McCollum, a first-round draft pick and a young player such as Nassir Little or Anfernee Simons to Philadelphia. The 76ers, sources said, at one point asked the Trail Blazers for McCollum and multiple draft picks and multiple draft swaps, which Portland rejected.”

With Olshey gone now, there could be some room for negotiations to begin again. After all, the Blazers need a spark, and Simmons could very well be the guy to provide that. Otherwise, Lillard might decide he no longer wants to be with a team that refuses to make moves.

Rick Ross Has Genius Marketing Strategy For New Album

Have you seen the Rozay Money Truck driving around your city? Ahead of the release of his upcoming new album Richer Than I Ever Been, Florida rap legend Rick Ross has found the perfect way to promote the project, printing his logo and the album’s release date on Garda trucks collecting money from businesses across the country.

While Rozay has famously rapped about stacking his money inside Brinks trucks, it appears as though the iconic rapper has teamed up with Garda, another money-collecting truck service, to promote his new album.

“If you had the opportunity to WIN ONE MILLION DOLLARS.. Would you spend it on your FAMILY, YOURSELF or your COMMUNITY????” asks Ross on Instagram, sharing videos of his Garda trucks driving around. “WHAT WOULD MEAN THE MOST??? DM ME YOUR ANSWER.”

He didn’t clarify if he was going to be sending a million dollars to whoever had his favorite answer, but that does seem to be what he’s implying. Considering his album is titled Richer Than I Ever Been, getting your promotion done on Garda trucks is a pretty clever move.

The album drops in a few days and we’ve already heard a couple of songs from it. Check out the reported tracklist here and let us know what you think about his Garda trucks.

SZA’s “I Hate U” Tops Apple Music & Spotify Daily Charts

Back in August, SZA tweeted a link to a three-pack of SoundCloud singles and said she was just “dumping random thoughts.”

“Joni,” “I Hate You” and “Nightbird” were posted to a random SoundCloud account, and after a four-year wait since 2017’s Ctrl, fans swarmed to hear new music from the TDE songstress

“I Hate You” quickly became a TikTok favorite, and nearly four months after it was originally released, SZA brought the record to Apple Music and Spotify last Friday (December 3).

Re-released as “I Hate U,” the song picked up right where it left off. After just one day, “I Hate U” sat atop the Apple Music Top 100: USA and Spotify’s Top 200 United States charts. The record continues to dominate the charts, and as of the time of publication (December 6), “I Hate U” remains atop both platform’s daily U.S. charts and is cementing itself as a bonafide smash.

Over the weekend, SZA took to social media to thank her fans for their unwavering support, and pushing the former SoundCloud loosie to the top of the charts.

“Y’all really made my biggest debut a SoundCloud jam and I dunno how to say thank you enuff,” she tweeted. “Sorry if it’s annoying BUT I REALLY AM SO THANKFUL AHHHH PLAY I HATE CHU TIL HE HATE CHU.”

While there has been no official word on when fans can expect another full-length effort from the 32-year-old, “I Hate U” is a solid consolation, and according to the charts, the excitement for new SZA is as strong as ever.

What do you think of “I Hate U” dominating the Apple Music and Spotify daily charts? Let us know down in the comments.

Erykah Badu Introduces Fans To Her 27-Year-Old Fiancé, Responds To Age Critics

Erykah Badu isn’t sure why, in most articles about her, journalists feel a need to mention her age. After showing off her love with her partner JaRon Adkison this week, gossip articles were posted on several websites about the age difference between them. Adkison is reportedly 27-years-old and Badu is 50-years-old (forgive me, legend!), so folks have naturally had questions about how they’re able to have such a strong bond despite having twenty-three years between them.

This week, Erykah formally introduced the world to her man, sharing a photo dump on Instagram and celebrating their love. When people started making a big deal about the age difference, the iconic singer sent off a tweet, asking why people always feel entitled to mention her age (and other women’s ages over thirty) when stories are being written about them.

“Why every time there is an article about a woman over 30 the journalists mentions the age?” she asked. “‘Erykah bardu’, 50 does the splits … e. Badu 50, had feelings …’ It ain’t my birthday, or death day. So, What does this MEAN?”

Badu isn’t the only celebrity woman that has had to deal with this for years. She certainly won’t be the last either, unfortunately.

Check out her photos with her fiancé below, as well as her tweet against age critics.

Joe Burrow’s Dislocated Finger Injury Gets An Update

Joe Burrow has been the backbone of the Cincinnati Bengals since getting drafted by the team in 2020. While he ended up getting injured in his rookie season, he has put on a show in his sophomore year, albeit, there have been instances of inconsistency. Yesterday, the Bengals took on the Los Angeles Chargers, and in the end, it was the Chargers who came away with a very convincing win.

Throughout the first half, Burrow could hardly get anything going and even injured his pinky. The dislocated finger was on his throwing hand, so you can probably guess that it was bothering him throughout the game. At numerous points, Burrow grimaced in pain, although he eventually got through it and finished the match.

Now, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, fans should expect some good news from Burrow, moving forward. The Bengals quarterback is determined to play through the injury, and it doesn’t appear as though this is going to be a long-term injury. Of course, this is great news for the team as they are currently fighting for a Wild Card spot in this year’s playoffs. With a record of 7-5, they have a chance to squeak in, which would be a major accomplishment in Burrow’s second year.

Burrow’s injury status continues to be a developing story, so stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest news and updates.

Damian Lillard’s Alleged Grievance With The Blazers Detailed In New Report

Damian Lillard has been the franchise player for the Portland Trail Blazers for a decade now, and unfortunately, the team doesn’t have much to show for it. Of course, this is not Lillard’s fault. Instead, it is the fault of management, who has refused to give Lillard a team that he can truly win with. The Blazers roster has always been inconsistent, and after a rough start this season, it almost seems like a foregone conclusion that they won’t make it to the postseason.

After the firing of GM Neil Olshey, a lot has been made of Lillard’s status in Portland. In a new report from Shams Charania of The Athletic, it was even stated that Lillard came into this season angry, as the Blazers wouldn’t even consider Jason Kidd for the head coaching job. Not to mention, Lillard was allegedly upset about the lack of big roster moves.

Per Charania:

“But two key concerns of his [Lillard] were not accounted for last offseason: Lillard’s desire for roster changes and for Jason Kidd, then a Lakers assistant and now Dallas Mavericks coach, to be strongly considered for the Portland job opening after Terry Stotts was fired. Olshey instead targeted LA Clippers assistant Chauncey Billups as the new coach and did not make major changes to the roster, believing the current core was built for contention.”

It remains to be seen what this will mean for Lillard, moving forward. He is one of the best point guards in the entire league, and the Blazers need him on the roster if they want any chance at success. However, this is a player’s league, and if Lillard wants a trade, that’s exactly what he will get.

6ix9ine & NBA YoungBoy Collab Confirmed By Wack 100

Two of the most polarizing hip-hop artists will reportedly be partnering up to form one of the unlikeliest teams in recent memory. According to music manager Wack 100, Tekashi 6ix9ine and YoungBoy Never Broke Again have recorded a song together and it will be released in the coming months.

This news comes after it was suggested that YoungBoy wouldn’t be opposed to working with 6ix9ine during an interview with DJ Akademiks. Clearly, Wack 100 worked his magic because, just a few days later, the song is finished. Wack also provided other information about the controversial rapper’s upcoming return.

“It’s already done,” said Wack about YoungBoy’s song with 6ix9ine. “Listen, 6ix9ine’s European tour is done, his radio promo is already worked out, This is me. You know, business is business. Don’t get it fucked up.”

It seems as though 6ix9ine will be back in the public eye in the next few weeks, starting off in Europe. Interestingly enough, the rapper initially built his fanbase overseas in Eastern European markets where he performed as an up-and-coming artist. Now, he’s established and more divisive than ever, so his show experience will likely be a bit different.

Are you surprised to hear about YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s alliance with 6ix9ine? Or do you think it makes sense that they’ve teamed up?
