Teyana Taylor & Iman Shumpert Celebrate 5 Years Of Marriage: “Happy Anniversary Queen”

On October 1, Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary together. From the looks of their Instagram pages, the couple spent the big day at home in Los Angeles, with their two children.

“Cheers to 5 years and 2 smiles. Happy Anniversary Queen. 10.1.16 #wegotlove,” Shumpert captioned his celebratory post.

Taylor, who posted the same picture as her husband, wrote, “5 years murrrrr’d. Happy anniversary love @imanshumpert.”

They kept their devotions short and sweet this year, but in the past, the pair have been known to sing one another’s praises endlessly.

“He’s my prince charming. My king charming,” the Coming 2 America actress told Wendy Williams back in 2018.

Earlier this week, Taylor also got the chance to hype her husband up when chatting with TMZ about his stint on Dancing With The Stars. Many Twitter users found themselves taken aback by Shumpert’s smooth moves, but according to his wife, it’s not all that surprising.

“I mean he’s at all my rehearsals,” she told the gossip site while at LAX. “He’s always jumping in my rehearsals and dancing with me.”

She continued, “I think he’s doing amazing. The lines, the techniques, his versatility. I love it!”

Back in 2020, the NBA player opened up to Madame Noir during an interview about the hard work that goes into a marriage.

“We’ve faced some tough times, overcome some tough stretches. Marriage is a constant body of work. You’re going to be proud of it. You’re going to step back and be like, ‘Wow.’”

Check out a sweet throwback post from the couple below.

Tom Brady is one of the greatest NFL players of all time, and in the eyes of many, he is the best team sports athlete ever. Considering the fact that he has a whopping seven Super Bowl titles to his name, it should not come as a surprise that fans would feel this way. Six of those championships came with the New England Patriots, while the last one was with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tomorrow night, Brady will be back in New England for the first time since leaving the team back in 2020. This matchup against his former coach is going to be extremely interesting, and the fans cannot wait to see how it plays out. In the video clip posted to Twitter, below, Brady is depicted in an animated timeline where he goes from his combine physique, all the way through his six Super Bowl titles with the Patriots. There are some incredible moments that are represented here, and it is the perfect encapsulation of everything he did while playing for that organization. Even if you’re a Patriots fan who is still mad at Brady, you can’t help but get goosebumps just by watching this.

The Buccaneers are favored to win this one and deservingly so. They are packed with talent while the Patriots are in a bit of a rebuild of sorts. At this point, Brady should feel very comfortable going back to Foxborough, and we’re sure his teammates are too.

Lebron James Previews Snoop Dogg, Benny The Butcher & Jadakiss Collab

Benny The Butcher has been one of the most consistent members out of Griselda this year. He’s stepped out of the shadows of Conway and Westside Gunn since the release of WWCD and has delivered some of the best hip-hop projects of the year. Plugs I Met 2 with Harry Fraud dropped at the top of the year and then, he followed it up with Trust The Sopranos with 38 Spesh and Pyrex Picasso.

2021 probably won’t end without Benny unveiling another body of work. However, it seems like he also has some new collaborations with some legendary figures. Lebron James took to Instagram this weekend where he previewed some new, unreleased heat from Benny The Butcher, Snoop Dogg, and Jadakiss. ‘Bron captioned the IG story, “@SnoopDogg this go crazy!!!! Whoa.” Per usual, LeBron’s nodding his head heavily while attempting to rap along to the lyrics.

It’s unclear what the record might be for or when it’ll be released but chances are, if Snoop Dogg gave LeBron the greenlight to preview it on his IG, it could be on its way soon.

While Benny has previously worked with Jadakiss in the past, the unreleased record would mark Benny’s first time collaborating with Snoop Dogg.

In related news, Snoop Dogg will be joining Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar for the Super Bowl halftime show next year. Read more about that here.

Cardi B Gifted Beautiful Hermés Birkin Bag While Attending Paris Fashion Week

For the past few days, Cardi B has been flooding her Instagram feed with pictures of her dripping from head to toe in designers like Mugler and Schiaparelli. Earlier today, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper took to her Twitter page to drop yet another luxurious flex on her followers.

“Wow people in France are sooo lovely. I can’t believe DemDem got me a Birkin and the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. I was in such shock. Thank you very much,” the mother of two wrote.

In the video, Cardi can be seen standing beside a larger-than-life floral arrangement, as well as a signature orange Hermés bag.

“I don’t know if this is like French courtesy, but like, French people are just so nice and sweet,” she says. “Every time I come to my hotel I have sweets and candies, but a Birkin?!”

The bag (which can cost anywhere between $40,000 – $500,000) was gifted to Cardi by a woman named DemDem, the wife of French rapper, singer, and composer, Maître Gims.

“I feel so loved, I want to be her girlfriend,” the 28-year-old said with a laugh while gearing up to unwrap her present.

Although she doesn’t need a reason to jet off on vacation, Cardi is currently in France for Paris Fashion Week, hence the aforementioned extravagant outfits.

In one of her OOTD snaps, the “WAP” singer can be seen posing with Offset wearing Schiaparelli. In the caption, she threw a nod to another fashion icon, Lady Gaga, with the lyrics, “I’ll get him hot, show him what I’ve got.”

Meek Mill, J. Cole & Wale Dominate This Week’s “Fire Emoji” Playlist

Over the past year, Meek Mill has been heavily teasing his follow-up to Championships. A few freestyles were scattered across the summer to build anticipation while the single, “Sharing Locations” ft. Lil Baby and Lil Durk has been on steady rotation. On Friday, the rapper finally released his new album, Expensive Pain. With 18 songs in total, the rapper brings some of his best work to date to the table. It was only right that we included “Outside (100 MPH)” for this week’s Fire Emoji playlist.

While J. Cole and Wale both came up under the Roc Nation team in the early stages of their career, it’s been a minute since we’ve heard them on wax together. The two connected back in 2018 for “My Boy (Freestyle).” Now, they’ve joined forces alongside Miami hit-making duo Cool & Dre for their latest effort, “Poke It Out.”

Memphis is currently having its reign in the rap game, again. We’ve witnessed the city’s scene influence and impact the game in ways that are often not acknowledged. Young Dolph’s Paper Route Empire has been delivering a steady stream of releases this year. Key Glock, specifically, has been among the most consistent rappers out. This week, he shared his latest single “Ambition For Cash” which you could check out on our Fire Emoji playlist.

2FeetBino Shows Versatility In “How Im Comin”

Following the release of his singles, “Target” and “Got Me Started,” 2FeetBino continues to push out music with a new music video for “How I’m Comin.” The Atlanta-born rapper takes on an infectiously bouncy beat while further showcasing his versatility compared to some of his latest releases. His syrupy melodies offer triumphant moments but he also shares a more personal side as he details his relationship with his daughter.

Bino’s been having quite the run this year following the release of 2020s A Story Never Told. He kicked off the 2021 run with “In Da Spot” ft. 4L Quan, one of the most memorable trap records of 2021 that’s been in steady rotation in the clubs. “How Im Comin” makes yet another shoutout to his daughter, in a similar vein to “Apple Pie” off of A Story Never Told where his daughter takes center stage in the music video. Whereas “Apple Pie” discusses the life that he wishes he could give to his daughter, “How I’m Comin” showcases the story of his come-up in trying to provide for her. The easy-going beat is juxtaposed next to lines about the rise in the rapper’s career, newfound fame, wealth, and moments of reflection about the impact that it’s had on his, and his daughter’s lives.

Peep the latest offering from 2FeetBino below and sound off with your thoughts in the comments.

Keyshia Cole’s Mother, Frankie Lons, Died From Accidental Overdose: Report

Back in July, Keyshia Cole shared the heartbreaking news that her biological mother, Frankie Lons, had passed away on her birthday. Months later, TMZ has received news that Lons’ autopsy revealed her manner of death to be an accidental overdose.

The late 61-year-old had spent several decades battling addiction, which she and Cole spoke candidly about on her BET reality series, Keyshia Cole: My New Life.

According to Lons’ brother, Sam, she was partying at her Oakland home in celebration of her birthday when she accidentally overdosed.

Sam told TMZ that he checked in on his sister every day in an attempt to help her get sober. Cole was also supportive of her mother throughout her personal struggles, often using her social media to document Lons’ battle.

Although the mother and daughter became close later in life, Cole was actually raised by family friends after being given up at a young age by Lons and her biological father, Virgil Hunter.

In August, the “Heaven Sent” singer shared some photos from her mom’s funeral on Instagram.

“We will miss you, I tried to spend as much time close to her as I could, in that church. When we got to the mausoleum, I asked if I could see her one last time,” the 39-year-old wrote.

“I kno her spirit was no longer there in the physical, I just hope she was able to see that we came together in celebration of her name, the laughs, love, and honesty she brought to this world…. I’ve internalized a lot as of recent. The love is real Frank Da.”

RIP Frankie.

The Game Assists Nightshifts On New Single “20s”

It was nearly 20 years ago when Toronto-based producer and songwriter Andrew Oliver, better known as Nightshifts, met The Game outside of a hotel. Like everyone does when they meet their hero, he asked for a photo. Two decades later, he asked the rap icon to jump on his new song “20s.” It’s a nostalgic, smooth track with production from Nightshifts, who also handles hook duties, and bars from The Game.

“It feels surreal. That picture has been standing on my dresser for over half of my life,” said Nightshifts. “I love to think about how mind-blown my 10-year old self and friends would be. And I’m grateful he took the time and care to do it right. We chatted about what the song was about, and what vibe we were aiming for. I had written and recorded the rest of the track from my bedroom. Now hearing it back with one of my childhood idols is an absolute dream.”

Quotable Lyrics
I’m here for a good time, not a long time
See you outside the club in a long line
Come here
Yeah, party with us
