Patriots Have Prepared Ceremony For Tom Brady If He Breaks Drew Brees’ Record: Report

Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and Patriots owner Robert Kraft shared a hug prior to their respective teams’ matchup, Sunday night in New England. Brady played for the Pats from 2001 to 2019, winning six Super Bowls with the organization.

Additionally, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the team has arranged a ceremony to “briefly acknowledge” the success of Brady if he surpasses Drew Brees’ record of 80,358 career passing yards.

At 44-years-old, Brady is averaging 362.3 passing yards per game this season, and will almost certainly pass Brees’ record.

The legendary quarterback spoke about returning to New England with reporters, earlier this week:

“I’m just excited to go up there and try to beat a really good football team. That’s ultimately what this week is about. It’s not about the quarterback, it’s not about the fans or the home crowd or relationships of 20 years. It’s about two good football teams going at it, and we’ve got to do a great job. It’s going to be a huge test. Last week was a huge test, and we didn’t quite meet it. This is another huge test; we’ve got to go meet the challenge.”

The Buccaneers and Patriots’ Sunday night matchup will kickoff at 8:20 PM ET.

Colin Jost & Michael Che Honor Norm MacDonald During “SNL’s” Weekend Update

Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update hosts, Colin Jost and Michael Che, honored the late comedian Norm MacDonald, over the weekend, by playing several vintage clips of MacDonald’s time as an anchor for the iconic SNL segment.

“It is a bittersweet night for us tonight,” Jost said during the show. “Norm is the reason I ever wanted to do Weekend Update, and so tonight, we thought we’d turn the last few jokes of Update over to Norm.”

From there, they played various jokes of MacDonald’s, from throughout his time on the program.

“At the White House this week, President Clinton officially came out against same-sex marriages,” he remarked in one. “What’s more, the President said he is not too crazy about opposite-sex marriages, either.”

MacDonald spent five seasons on Saturday Night Live before he was let go. NBC President Don Ohlmeyer said MacDonald was removed due to a decline in ratings as well as quality, but MacDonald claimed it was due to his jokes about O. J. Simpson during and after the infamous trial.

“In a brilliant move during closing arguments, Simpson attorney Johnnie Cochran put on the knit cap prosecutors say O.J. wore during the night of the murders,” Macdonald said in a joke shown Saturday regarding Simpson. “Although O.J. may have hurt his case when he suddenly blurted out, ‘Hey, hey. Easy with that! That’s my lucky stabbing hat!’”

Grimes Explains Viral Pics Of Her Reading “The Communist Manifesto”

Grimes says that the viral photos that were taken of her reading The Communist Manifesto in the street, Saturday, were a way of her trolling the paparazzi who were following her.

She spoke about the incident again Sunday afternoon, responding to fans who called the move “cringe.”

“Taught myself to stop checking if other ppl think I’m socially acceptable a long time ago,” Grimes explained. “Worrying about being cringe is the enemy of art, failure tolerance is essential for creativity. Deciding not to be mad at ppl enjoying life is ok.”

The photos were taken just weeks after Grimes and her former partner, Elon Musk, announced that they were separating.

Musk explained in a statement provided to the NY Post that they would remain friends: “We are semi-separated but still love each other, see each other frequently and are on great terms. It’s mostly that my work at SpaceX and Tesla requires me to be primarily in Texas or traveling overseas and her work is primarily in LA. She’s staying with me now and Baby X is in the adjacent room.”

Zoë Kravitz Reveals How She Landed The Role Of Catwoman In “The Batman”

Zoë Kravitz, who stars as Catwoman alongside Robert Pattinson in Matt Reeves’ upcoming film, The Batman, detailed how she landed the highly-coveted role in a new interview with Another, this week.

Kravitz explained that she fell in love with the script and went into her audition with “puppy dog energy.”

“I read the script,” Kravitz began. “Then [Reeves] talked with me again to hear my thoughts, to see if we were on the same page. I didn’t know him well and it was a bit of a process. When these big opportunities come up, these big roles, and you really want them, it’s heartbreaking when you don’t get them. You put a lot of energy into it. The thing that I tried to keep in check throughout, though, was just wanting to be agreeable and likable to get the role. [I didn’t want] To read the script and say, ‘I love it. I love everything about it.’ Then I go to the audition and I have this puppy dog energy.”

She continued, “It was important to give him an idea of what it’s really like to work with me. To say what I really think and, if we’re on set together, to ask the questions I want to ask. I tried to come at it from the angle where I am showing him what I see and feel about this character. I believe that’s why it happened and I got the role. Matt’s a fantastic director, and he’s really into talking about the character. We had some really good conversations. I had some thoughts about the character once I’d read the script too and they were welcomed.”

The Batman will hit theaters on March 4, 2022.

Lizzo & Soulja Boy Go Viral For Dancing Together Backstage At Bow Wow Concert

From the looks of things, Lizzo was a busy gal while attending Bow Wow’s Millennium Tour in Los Angeles over the weekend. Several clips of the 33-year-old hanging out backstage have gone viral, including one of her dancing with Soulja Boy.

The “Juice” singer posted a snippet of her evening on the town to TikTok, showing her and Soulja performing the popular routine to his track, “Rick & Morty.”

A post shared by No Jumper 🏀 (@nojumper)

“Singing ‘Rick & Morty’ until @Soulja Boy (Draco) calls me his Soulja Girl,” Lizzo captioned the video.

The comment section has been flooded with kind comments, like, “the duo we didn’t think we needed” and “if he doesn’t call you Soulja Girl then I will.”

Others pointed out the pair’s matching Burberry drip; a subtle flex for the star-studded event.

Reactions to Lizzo’s link up with Soulja Boy have been far more positive than those to her interaction with Chris Brown. In another clip taken backstage, the Detroit native can be seen gushing over the problematic artist, calling him her “favourite person in the f*cking world.”

Some fans on Twitter were incredibly outspoken about Lizzo favouring a known abuser, while others defended her and were quick to point out that even Rihanna has seemingly moved on from her 2009 beef with Brown.

The “Truth Hurts” hitmaker also posted a montage video of her backstage experience that starts with her asking, “if you wasn’t at the Millennium Tour then where the f*ck you was at?”

The footage that follows shows Lizzo having a blast and dancing with her pals backstage, and even crying while singing along to a song from the crowd.
