Dave Grohl Reveals Nirvana’s “Nevermind” Cover Art Could Be Altered Following Lawsuit

The cover art for Nirvana’s second studio album, Nevermind became the center of a new lawsuit last month. 30-year-old Spencer Elden, the baby used on the album’s cover, sued the band for child exploitation. Elden filed a lawsuit this summer for $150K in damages, claiming that he, nor his parents, never filed any paperwork “authorizing the use of any images of Spencer or of his likeness, and certainly not of commercial child pornography depicting him.”

Dave Grohl recently sat down for an interview with The Times where he suggested that future prints of the album will include a different cover art altogether. “I have many ideas of how we should alter that cover, but we’ll see what happens,” he said. “We’ll let you know. I’m sure we’ll come up with something good.”

As for the lawsuit itself, Grohl explained that he’s not entirely too concerned over the matter. “I think that there’s much more to look forward to and much more to life than getting bogged down in those kinds of things. And, fortunately, I don’t have to do the paperwork,” he said.

Elden’s lawsuit included claims that the group “reproduced child pornography depicting Spencer knowing and intending that it would be distributed internationally and that they would receive value from such widespread worldwide distribution.” He added in the suit that they “failed to take reasonable steps” towards preventing “widespread sexual exploitation and image trafficking” of Spencer as a 4-month-old baby.

We’ll keep you posted on more details surrounding the case.

Boosie Badazz Confirms He Was Kicked Off “Legendz Of The Streetz” Tour

Boosie Badazz is certainly an artist that rightfully deserved a slot on the “Legendz Of The Streetz” tour which also includes names like Gucci Mane, Jeezy, Rick Ross, and plenty of others. Unfortunately, things took a left turn during the second show of the tour in Atlanta. While most artists on the line-up had already hit the stage, Boosie Badazz was only able to perform two songs before an altercation broke out on stage and all hell broke loose.

The incident resulted in Boosie getting left off of the bill in Greensboro. However, it seems that he’s now officially been kicked off of the tour entirely. Boosie shared a photo of the entrance to Baltimore’s Royal Farm Arena with a sign stating that refunds are being issued for fans that arrived to see Boosie Badazz.

“Attention Tonight’s Fans!” The sign reads in bold red writing.

“Boosie Badazz has been REMOVED from the Legendz Of The Streetz Tour. If you would like to request a refund for this evening’s concert tour, REFUNDS MUST BE OBTAINED PRIOR TO ENTERING THE VENUE AT POINT OF PURCHASE,” the sign read.

Sharing the photo of the sign, Boosie wrote, “THIS IS THE MOVE THEY PULLING OFF ON THE TOUR SO U CANT GET REFUNDS ,READ IT CLEAR LOL LIKE PEOPLE GO READ A SIDE DOOR LOL SHIT OUT TO ALL MY BALTIMORE FANS!! LOVE YALL.”

Unfortunately, the show will go on without Boosie Badazz. Hopefully, fans who were solely there to see Boosie end up having another opportunity.

Wale & J. Cole’s “Poke It Out” Gets New Music Video

Wale is gearing up to release his upcoming album Folarin II on October 22nd, and we’ve already seen a brand new single from the project by way of the J. Cole-assisted “Poke It Out.” A stylistic shift from their previous collaboration “My Boy,” which found both parties absolutely snapping in a display of healthy competition, this one is a little more low-stakes.

Today, Wale has premiered the official music video for “Poke It Out,” which features both parties living it up alongside a gang of models. The clip is brought to life by director LCR$, who captures the track’s sensual vibe with a dynamic visual flair. For their part, the camaraderie between the longtime collaborators remains genuine, and it’s refreshing to see the pair making music together once again.

Based on early responses, it seems as if “Poke It Out” might be one of Wale’s biggest hits in recent memory. It certainly bodes well for the release of Folarin II, which is set to arrive in mere weeks. Check out the NSFW visuals for Wale and J. Cole’s playful new duet, and sound off if you think this one will be on steady rotation.

Bubba Wallace Wins For The First Time In The NASCAR Cup Series

Bubba Wallace was given a massive opportunity this season as he was recruited by Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan to drive for their 23XI racing team. This is 23XI’s first season in the NASCAR Cup Series, and after his season with Richard Petty Motorsports in 2020, it’s clear that Wallace was the man to pilot their inaugural entry into the series.

As with most first-year teams, 23XI went through growing pains and struggled in the early going of the season. Eventually, they managed to string together some Top 5 finishes all while showcasing quite a bit of speed. On Monday, Bubba had an opportunity to get the first win of his Cup Series career as the series went to Talladega, which just so happens to be his home track.

Halfway through the race, Wallace took the lead right before a wreck led to a caution. From there, it started to rain, which forced NASCAR to stop the race. According to the rules, if the race is halfway done and the rain is too much for a potential restart, the race gets called and the leader is declared the winner. As flood warnings came through the Talladega area, NASCAR deemed the race over, thus handing the win to Wallace.

It was an emotional scene on pit road as Wallace became the second African-American driver in NASCAR history to win a Cup Series race. The last such driver to do it was Wendell Scott back in 1963.

After the win, Wallace was greeted and congratulated by numerous drivers, including his boss Denny Hamlin, who was clearly excited about 23XI’s first win. This is a historic day all around, and one that Wallace will remember for a very long time.

Conway Announces “God Don’t Make Mistakes” Lead Single

At long last, it would appear that Conway The Machine’s anticipated Shady Records album God Don’t Make Mistakes is on the way. And while it will likely be his last with Eminem’s label, it’s still set to be an impactful release from the Buffalo emcee, as well as another strong piece of the new era Shady Records run.

Though the album has yet to receive a concrete release date, Machine recently confirmed that the album’s lead single “Piano Love” will be dropping this Friday, October 8th.

Fans of Conway will probably recognize the eerie-sounding track, which was produced by longtime Griselda and Shady affiliate Alchemist, as it’s made a few appearances in Machine’s live set during the ongoing Love Will Get You Killed tour.

Unsurprisingly, given the title and all, Alc’s production centers around a chilling piano loop, a fitting backdrop for Conway’s brand of grimy and brutal lyricism. It’s but one of many confirmed tracks from the LP, which clocks in at twelve tracks with guest appearances from Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Jae Skeese, 7xvethegenius, T.I., Novel, Benny The Butcher, Westside Gunn, Jill Scott, and Keisha Plum. Production is set to be handled by Daringer, Cosmo, Hit-Boy, Bink!, and J.U.S.T.I.C.E League.

You can check out the complete tracklist to Conway’s Shady Records debut God Don’t Make Mistakes, and look for the Alchemist-produced “Piano Love” to land this coming Friday, October 8th. Will you be tuning in?

Marvel Releases New “Eternals'” Trailer Showcasing LGBTQ+ Family

Eternals is an upcoming superhero film based on the Marvel Comics race of the same name. The film is the 26th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is directed by Oscar-winning Chloe Zhao from Nomadland

This Sunday, Marvel released a trailer for the Eternals. Throughout the visualizer, fans of the series can observe their favorite superheroes wielding their extra-terrestrial powers against the enemy in combat.

The 30-second trailer also made headlines for showing the company’s first LGBTQ+ friendly family. During this feel-good family moment, we get to observe the son Jack informing his fathers — Phastos (Brian Tyree Henry) and his husband (Haaz Sleiman) of the heroic efforts of Ikaris’ (Richard Madden) that he’d observed on television.

The film takes place after Avengers: Endgame (2019). The protagonists are a group of Eternals, an alien race who have lived in solidarity with humans on Earth for over 7,000 years. The legion of Eternals are tasked with reuniting in order to protect humanity from their new evil counterparts, the Deviants.

For fans of the Marvel universe who wonder how this film will tie into the overall story arc of the overall series, Director Chloe Zhao said, “I think we will have a very big effect on the Marvel Comic Universe with what happens in this film.”

The Eternals will touch down in theaters on November 5. Watch the trailer visual below.
