Consequence Takes Aim At Drake In New Diss Track, “Party Time”

Consequence dropped a new diss track targeting Drake, Saturday night, amidst a long-running feud between Kanye West and his affiliates and Drake and his affiliates. Both camps have been sending shots at each other in music and over social media during the rollout for both Donda and Certified Lover Boy.

“Since ‘Life of The Party got Leaked… I guess it’s Party Time #QueensAllDay,” Con announced on Twitter, Saturday, referencing Drake’s decision to leak West’s collaboration with Andre 3000.

Con later revealed exclusively to HNHH that the track would be dropping tonight.

“Party Time” sees Con going directly at the Toronto rapper. “Who told Aubs that he can play with them? / That boy Cons can run the fade with them / I wish we could shoot five instead of group chats / Next time bring Chubbs when you shoot back,” he raps on the new diss track.

Quotable Lyrics

We know two wrongs never makes things right
But when you insinuate, you are with the next man’s wife
You might as well say you’ll take the next man’s life
’Cause that’s a dark place that makes most men fight

Tommy Fury Says He’d Knock Jake Paul Out In Less Than 3 Minutes

Tommy Fury says he could knock Jake Paul out in under three minutes. Both the YouTuber-turned-boxer, Paul, and career-long boxer, Fury, have been sending shots at each other ahead of a rumored fight.

“It’d be over inside a round,” Fury said when asked what would happen if the two boxed each other on TMZ.

He explained: “From what I’ve seen against Tyron Woodley the other night, he’s scared to throw a punch when he’s in with somebody who could even knock him out. He don’t want to commit. He took one shot and nearly fell through the ropes. From what I seen the other day, I have my hands up, walk straight to him and get him out of there inside three minutes.”

Paul’s win over Woodley was the first match he’s been in that didn’t end in a knockout victory for Paul.

Fury recently slandered Paul during an interview with TMZ Sports saying, “My message to Jake Paul is that he’s a massive pussy and he doesn’t want to fight. He’s not a fighting man. So when he grows a pair of bollocks, come and see me, but until then, don’t mention my name ever again.”

Drake Jumps On Playboi Carti’s Leak, “One Day” On “Sound 42” Radio

During his latest episode of SiriusXM’s Sound 42, Drake played a new version of Playboi Carti’s leaked track, “One Day,” now featuring an appearance from the Toronto rapper. The unofficial track did not make the cut for Drake’s new album, Certified Lover Boy, which hit streaming services on Friday.

“One Day” is a very early Carti leak, dating back to 2017 when Pi’erre Bourne first previewed the song.

Though Carti did not land on Certified Lover Boy, the two previously worked together on “Pain 1993” for Drake’s Dark Lane Demo Tapes.

Elsewhere during Drake’s broadcast, he leaked a Kanye West song featuring Andre 3000 that was scrapped from Donda. The track features a verse dissing Drake, but Andre released a statement, Saturday, explaining that he wants no part of the beef.

“The track I received and wrote to didn’t have the diss verse on it and we were hoping to make a more focused offering for the Donda album but I guess things happen like they are supposed to,” Andre explained. “It’s unfortunate that it was released in this way and two artists that I love are going back and forth. I wanted to be on Certified Lover Boy too. I just want to work with people that inspire me. Hopefully I can work with Kendrick on his album. I’d love to work with Lil’ Baby, Tyler and Jay-Z. I respect them all.”

Since Drake revealed his cover art for Certified Lover Boy, which features several pregnant emojis, Nas has taken the internet by storm by showing off a fake baby bump.

“SURPRISE! I can’t believe I’m finally announcing this. My little bundle of joy ‘MONTERO’ is due September 17, 2021,” Nas captioned the announcement photo for his new album.

In the face of rampant homophobia on the internet, Nas has continued to troll his haters, something Joe Rogan recently took time out of his podcast to praise him for.

“He came out like a fucking cannon. But the music is great too. . .It’s not just he’s coming out of the closet, I celebrate the fact that he is able to be his authentic self, but it’s also the music is fun, it’s good music,” Rogan explained, adding, “He is himself now. He gets a lot of hate, but it comes with success. You’re gonna get people from all sorts of weird groups that are upset at you for all sorts of weird things, he’s a superstar.”

Fans Thrilled To Hear Juice WRLD Land On Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy”

Fans on social media were stoked to hear Juice WRLD’s appearance on Drake’s Certified Lover Boy, following its release, Friday. The track, “IMY2,” which features Kid Cudi, opens with a snippet from Juice’s 2019 interview with Montreality in which he can be heard saying, “closing your eyes and dying in your sleep.”

“I think that’s what life is about,” Juice says in the full interview. “Truly finding yourself. And then closing your eyes and dying in your sleep. Finding yourself and finding other things. Finding yourself is one of the things, though, for sure.”

Unfortunately, Juice and Drake never were able to truly collaborate prior to Juice’s death in December 2019.

Users on Twitter were quick to notice the Juice WRLD inclusion by Drake. “Juice tributes on two of the biggest albums of the year, just shows the impact he had in a small time,” one fan tweeted.

Juice was given a tribute on Kanye West’s latest album, Donda. During Lil Yachty’s verse on “OK OK ,” he raps “moment of silence, R.I.P. to Juice.”

“Juice tribute on DONDA and CLB. And people wanna say he had no impact or talent, literally the biggest artists in the world respect him and he still gets slandered,” another fan wrote.
