Damian Lillard Gets Married To Kay’la Hanson— Snoop Dogg, Common, & More In Attendance

Damian Lillard is a married man! The Portland Trailblazer was wed to his fiance Kay’la Hanson in a low-key ceremony. The couple got engaged right before the start of the pandemic, in February 2020. Almost a year later, in January, the couple welcomed twins, a girl named Kali and a boy named Kalii. Their first child, Damian Jr., was born in March 2018. Now, Dame has made the mother of his children his wife.

Of course, teammates and friends CJ McCollum, Evan Turner, Tim Frazier, and Jake Layman were all in attendance. Jusuf Nurkic was in Europe, and flew in just for the wedding.  Snoop Dogg, Common, and Tevin Campbell all performed for the event as well.

The six-time All-Star has spent his entire career with the Blazers. There have been rumors that Dame would leave, but he still hasn’t. The dedicated Blazer has been with the team since being selected with the sixth overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft. Dame most recently helped Team USA secure the Gold Medal at the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo. It’s amazing to see Dame settling down and enjoying his life as a husband and father. Much love.

M Huncho Is Stacking Up His Chips On “Breadwinner”

2020 was a busy year for M Huncho. The masked UK rapper delivered a joint project with Nafe Smallz titled, DNA, and also came through with his stellar solo album, Huncholini The 1st. He’s been rather lowkey over the course of 2021, though. He dropped “Overpriced” at the top of the year and followed through with a few guest features. However, it looks like there are promising signs that he could be dropping off some new heat before the year comes to an end.

M Huncho slid through with a brand new banger this week titled, “Breadwinner.” Connecting producer Quincy, M Huncho’s honeyed melodies meet grungy guitar strings and heavy bass as he details his journey to the bag.

Check the latest from M Huncho’s new single below.

Quotable Lyrics
Pistol or the gauge, oh
And I’ll beat the case
Arabic dial, let me put it on the face
Seven figures, and I’m pushin’ it to eight
I don’t think it’s luck, I put it all on fate
And I pray to God to take away my sins

Lil Uzi Vert Reveals The $24 Million Pink Diamond On His Forehead Was Ripped Out By Fans At Rolling Loud

Musicians have historically made plenty of interesting and expensive purchases, but few top Lil Uzi Vert’s $24 million pink diamond which the rapper embedded into his forehead at the beginning of the year. The diamond earned plenty of reactions from fans and while some deemed it as unnecessary, Lil Uzi was no doubt happy with his purchase. After keeping it implanted in his head for about four months, the rapper removed it in June before re-embedding it almost two months later. That’s because it turns out that fans ripped out the diamond while he performed.

He made the reveal while speaking to TMZ on his way into the 18th-anniversary party for Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club at the end of last month. “I had a show at Rolling Loud and I jumped into the crowd and they kind of ripped it out,” he said to the publication. “I’m feeling good. I still have the diamond so I feel good.”

Shortly after he had the diamond implanted, Eliantte, the jeweler responsible for it, addressed concerns about its safety and called it “as safe as any other piercing.” He added, “As long as you maintain it well and have good upkeep, it’s perfectly fine. We made sure that prior to getting anything done that Uzi brought someone in to consult on everything. We didn’t just do this randomly.”

You can watch Lil Uzi speak about the Rolling Loud incident in the video above.

Lil Uzi Vert is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Bobby Shmurda Confronts Fan Who Threw Water Bottle At Him

It looks like the highly anticipated return of Bobby Shmurda is in full effect. Since his release from prison earlier this year, the rapper has been popping out everywhere but we’ve yet to hear any new music from him. His first real post-prison show took place at Rolling Loud Festival earlier this summer.

On Friday, the rapper unveiled his first single since he was released from prison titled, “No Time For Sleep (Freestyle).” The single is just a teaser for what the Roc Nation-managed artist has in store. The single’s release was set to be followed by a performance at Made In America festival on Sunday.

Unfortunately, not everything went as smoothly as he’d hope. Per TMZ, the rapper was in the crowd when he nearly came to blows with a concertgoer on Saturday when he was in the crowd. Apparently, Bobby was struck with a water bottle when he was watching Megan Thee Stallion’s set which is what prompted him to nearly climb the barricade. Fortunately for him, his team managed to pull him away before things really got out of hand.

Bobby Shmurda is currently on parole so chances are that getting into any sort of physical altercation would violate his conditions.

Angelina Jolie “Fought” Ex Brad Pitt Over His Work With Harvey Weinstein

Angelina Jolie, who is set to star in Marvel’sEternals later this year, sat down with The Guardian and spoke about a range of topics recently. One moment that has the internet riled up, is a piece where Jolie details her experience with Harvey Weinstein. Jolie talks about working with Weinstein for the 1998 movie Playing By Heart. Jolie, who was 21 at the time, was forever haunted by how the producer treated her.

“If you get yourself out of the room, you think he attempted but didn’t, right? The truth is that the attempt and the experience of the attempt is an assault,” Jolie stated. “It was beyond a pass. It was something I had to escape. I stayed away and warned people about him. I remember telling Jonny [Lee Miller], my first husband, who was great about it, to spread the word to other guys – don’t let girls go alone with him.”

Jolie claims that she even turned down a starring role in The Aviator because of Weinstein’s involvement. That’s why Jolie said it hurt so bad when her then-partner Brad Pitt worked with Weinstein. First, Pitt starred in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds, which was co-produced by the Weinstein Company. The actress also claims that Pitt asked Weinstein to produce his thriller Killing Them Softly.

“We fought about it. Of course, it hurt,” Jolie explained. However, TMZ sources claim that Jolie is mischaracterizing the situation, explaining that Pitt was simply cast in the film Inglourious Basterds, and the Weinstein Company happened to pick it up.

Here’s Why The FTC Is Investigating McDonald’s Broken Ice Cream Machines

It’s come to this. The cultural phenomenon of McDonald’s broken ice cream machines is now under the gaze of the Federal Trade Commission.

While it would be entertaining to chalk up their involvement to some nefarious plot inside McDonald’s headquarters to deny the people their McFlurrys, McDonald’s chronic ice cream issue is actually grouped into a larger topic of giving the American people the right to repair broken tech.

Per the Wall Street Journal, we can assume that McDonald’s ice cream machines aren’t breaking down any more than other places. Franchisees just may be restricted from actually repairing the machines themselves.

It’s an issue that parallels the main point of this investigation at large which is the inability to repair things like broken laptops and phones at home or through a cheaper third party due to illegal repair restrictions.

Now, in conjunction with an executive order from President Joe Biden, the agency issued a new policy that will force developers and manufacturers of things like phones, cars, washing machines, and even farming equipment to make to publish the tools and documentation that they use to fix products when they break as a part of a new “right to repair” initiative. Now, attempts to fix such items outside of authorized retailers could potentially protect consumers from things like voided warranties.

Where McDonald’s is concerned, the FTC is thoroughly investigating whether or not the broken ice cream machines are truly a “right to repair” problem by taking a look at suppliers, types of equipment and whether or not McDonald’s franchise owners are allowed to work on their own machines, per the Wall Street Journal

“Intrinsic to the interest in our soft serve machines is our fans’ love of McDonald’s iconic McFlurry desserts and shakes,” McDonald’s told USA TODAY in a statement. “Nothing is more important to us than delivering on our high standards for food quality and safety, which is why we work with fully vetted partners that can reliably provide safe solutions at scale.”

Drake, Kanye West & JMSN Lead This Week’s “R&B Season” Playlist

Labor Day weekend couldn’t have come at a better time. With two massive albums dropping within a week of each other, everyone needs a bit of down time to really take it all in. Kanye West’s DONDA is 27-songs in length with a run-time of nearly two hours while Drake’s Certified Lover Boy clocks in at nearly an hour and a half with 21 songs.

This week’s R&B Season playlist includes updates from both of those albums. From Kanye, we got the heavily anticipated anthem, “Hurricane” ft Lil Baby and The Weeknd, who ended up hopping on the track (and making it infinitely better) shortly after the first listening party.

While Certified Lover Boy might lean more towards Drake’s bars, the album title wouldn’t ring true without a few R&B cuts. This week’s R&B Season playlist includes the Ty Dolla $ign-assisted stand-out, “Get Along Better,” as well as “Fucking Fans.”

Along with both Drake and Kanye West, the latest R&B Season update also includes a few new cuts off of JMSN’s new album, Heals Me, as well as Jenevieve’s “Résumé.”

Check out the latest R&B Season update below and sound off with your favorite R&B drops of the week in the comment section below. And don’t forget to subscribe to HNHH on Spotify.

As reported by TMZ, comedian Fuquan Johnson, a writer for the TV series Comedy Parlour Live, has passed away along with two other unidentified victims after allegedly overdosing on Fentanyl-laced cocaine. The overdose occurred in Venice, California. Comedian Kate Quigley is in critical condition, along with three others, who also took the laced cocaine.

Fentanyl has caused a deadly wave throughout the nation, causing the death of thousands every year. High-profile victims of Fentanyl overdoses include Prince, Mac Miller, Shock G, and Lil Peep. Johnson, 42, was blowing up in the stand-up circuit, following several successful Los Angeles shows. Quigley has appeared in The Office and was known for dating Darius Rucker.

Tyler The Creator Shows Love To Andre 3000 After Hearing ‘Life Of The Party’

Days after Kanye West previewed “Life Of The Party,” his unreleased collaboration with Andre 3000, Drake somehow got a hold of the record and premiere it in its entirety during a recent broadcast on OVO Sound’s radio show on Sirius XM. The decision to play the leaked song was the latest chess move from Drake in his lengthy beef with West. However, putting the rappers’ differences aside, many who listened to the song were impressed with Andre 3000’s verse as it was dedicated to his mother and father who died in 2013 and 2014, respectively.

One of the people who praised Andre and the song was Tyler The Creator as he took to Twitter to share a pair of lines from it and give a nod to the Outkast counterpart. “Straight from Shibuya,” he wrote in one tweet, referencing West’s hook from the song, before pulling from Andre’s verse for a second tweet, writing, “Hey keep rollin.’” Lastly, Tyler showed love to Andre in a final post that read, “sir 3000* [pink hearts emoji].”

Tyler’s message comes after Andre listed him as one of the rappers he’d love to work with in the future.

“I just want to work with people that inspire me,” Andre wrote in a statement that was released after Drake leaked “Life Of The Party.” He added, “Hopefully I can work with Kendrick on his album. I’d love to work with Lil’ Baby, Tyler and Jay-Z. I respect them all.”

Nicki Minaj Sends Subs On Twitter: “Get It Together”

Between motherhood and wrapping up a new album, it’s safe to say that Nicki Minaj has been quite busy in recent times. She isn’t on social media as much as she was in the past but when she does pop out, it’s to make a statement. Yesterday, Nicki took to Instagram where she shared a series of subliminal tweets aimed towards an unidentified subject.

“Spoke to shawty & switched up. Let’s play ball. That obsession so real,” she tweeted. “All you gotta do is say the Queen name for them to be on ur phone every day chile. Lmao say it with me y’all. #WhoGODBless #NoManCanCurse you will soon understand,” she wrote in a separate tweet.

In another tweet, she offered some uplifting words to her fans, as well as her opponents. “Everyone, I wish you peace & love. Once you have that within, everything changes. Ppl pretend to be happy but spend day & night trying to hurt & attack others. What does that tell you? The ppl closest to you saying ur obsessed. Get it together. Onika is going to be happy boo.”

Though the tweets have since been deleted, she went on to show love to her followers and the Barbz in general for always showing her love.
