Over the weekend, Drake and Kanye West’s feud took another turn when the former played an unreleased cut off of Dondaon Sirius XM’s Sound 42. Drizzy’s “chess move” ultimately provided fans with one of the best songs that emerged in the ongoing back-and-forth between the two artists. Plenty of fans expressed praise for both ‘Ye and Andre 3000, even if the song contained a few mentions of The Boy.

The version that echoed the airwaves at the wee hours of Saturday morning didn’t contain the original verse from Kanye West, as Andre 3000 suggested. The Outkast member explained after controversy erupted that his intentions were to help pay tribute to Donda West. He added that the version he recorded wasn’t the one that was leaked.

“It’s unfortunate that it was released in this way and two artists that I love are going back and forth. I wanted to be on Certified Lover Boy too. I just want to work with people that inspire me,” he wrote before listing off a few artists that he admires. “Hopefully, I can work with Kendrick on his album. I’d love to work with Lil’ Baby, Tyler and Jay-Z. I respect them all.”

Tyler initially expressed his excitement on Twitter after Andre’s praise. Today, he revealed that he actually heard the original version of the song without ‘Ye’s apparent shots at Drake. 

“man i heard life of the party a few months back and lost my mind. song is beautiful man i want to eat it. very anita baker styled progression. original verse was so warm and true. pretty,” he wrote.

In one of the most bizarre stories to pop up this week, NBA YoungBoy affiliate Ben10 — who previously appeared on the 2020 NBA compilation project Never Broke Again Vol. 1 (Ain’t Too Long 2) — was reportedly arrested just six days after being released from jail. According to VladTV, the rapper was arrested on Tuesday on multiple gun and drug charges.

While shocking, Ben10 was eventually released, as he was reportedly able to quickly post bail. 

According to VladTV, Ben10 was fresh off a nearly a one-year stretch behind bars, as he was fighting different drug and gun charges before his release last week. Given the absurd quickness in which he was arrested and released, many fans have been searching for an explanation of what went down. On the other hand, some more comical fans have decided to get their jokes off about the rising NBA-affiliated artist.

“N*gga said jail was so fun ima get out n go right back,” one user wrote. Another fan offered a pun in response to the situation, saying, “It ain’t even Ben10 days.”

Jordyn Woods is promoting her new fitness app, and fans are outraged over it. Kylie Jenner’s former bestie has gone through quite the transformation over the years, and she’s looking to share her secrets to success with her new app, but fans think she’s actually scamming her followers, calling her out for allegedly getting surgery and using her platform to pretend as though her weight loss was natural.

Launching the new app FRSTPLACE, Jordyn Woods is looking to help her fans with their fitness goals. She posted her own weight loss pictures, showing that she’s come a long way in the last few years as she has reached her dream body, but people think she bought her body and didn’t work for it.

“I can’t even believe I’m posting this but this is really me and this is my journey,” wrote Woods on Instagram. “Hopefully, this can inspire some of you! It all started with a lot of mental and emotional work and the physical came with it. We all start somewhere.”

Despite Jordyn proudly showing off her body transformation, she’s being shamed for doing so on Twitter, and in her comments.

“Jordyn Woods starting a fitness app and acting like she didn’t get surgery done is sending me. The BBL girls are so unhinged,” said one critic in a viral tweet. That sentiment has been echoed by dozens of people, who are seemingly upset about her latest business venture.

Last month, Shyne returned to the United States for the first time since being deported to Belize in 2009. With his newfound status as the leader of the opposition party in the Belizean House of Representatives, Shyne visited the United States with the help of Diddy, and during his trip, he met with politicians in an effort to strengthen the ties between the United States and Belize.

Shyne’s most recent post to Instagram also reveals that he paid a visit to Howard University during his diplomatic journey, and while there, he met with famed actress Phylicia Rashad, who was recently named Dean of the Chadwick Boseman School of Fine Arts.

According to the former Bad Boy rapper, he and Phylicia Rashad spoke about the importance of the working class and the invaluable contributions of the creative sector. They also discussed how the ongoing COVID19 pandemic has further exposed the disparity between the upper and middle class in Belize.

“It was a distinct pleasure meeting with the Howard University Dean of the Chadwick Boseman School of Fine Arts, the Iconic, Mrs Phylicia Rashad,” Shyne revealed in his post. “One of the things that struck me the most is she opined that the wealth of Belize is her People. This so true. We have to value and cherish our People which is out greatest asset.”

“The economic crisis has all but eliminated the middle class,” he continued. “The working class deserves an increase in wages so that the standard of living can improve for all Belizeans not just the rich and political connected. Belize is rich beyond comprehension, we just need to spend the 40 years protecting, preserving and developing our wealth which is our People.”

The Hollywood Walk Of Fame has stars honoring legends in the world of entertainment, from film and television to music, radio, and more. Today, legendary West Coast radio personality Big Boy celebrated his illustrious career with his formal induction on the Walk Of Fame. A star was presented to Big Boy in front of Amoeba Records in Los Angeles and it was none other than Dr. Dre who presented it to him. Big Boy shared a photo of himself and Dr. Dre posted up before the ceremony took place on social media where he captioned the post, “With my brotha @drdre.”

“There’s some things where you’re like, ‘Oh I wanna get this’ or ‘Hopefully I wanna get that,’ but a star was totally something that I would, I didn’t think that was going to be possible for me,” the radio personality told KTLA 5 the day before the ceremony. “And not that I thought, ‘Oh you’re not worthy,’ I just didn’t think that I would have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. During a question-and-answer session on Twitter, Shad “Bow Wow” Moss revealed that he’s presently in the early stages of working on a sequel to the fan-favorite movie Like Mike. He also provided an update on his anticipated new album, which he has said will be his final project.

The 34-year-old entertainer was interacting with his fans, answering their questions when somebody asked when we can expect his new album to drop.

“Whenever i press the button,” teased Bow Wow. “Next year for sure! This will be my last album.”

He also said that he plans to make movies “for the rest of [his] life” before revealing one of the films he’s presently involved with.

“We are working on a like mike sequel. Its all just ideas as if now,” revealed Moss. “But yes we have been talking. So far so good.”

Somebody pointed out that a sequel was already made for Like Mike, to which Bow responded, “We didnt do like mike 2. Im back with the original writer of the classic! Like mike 2 shoulda have never been made.”

He also says that the sequel might end up being bigger than the original. “Shhhhh….. another gem ima drop,” he started. “It wont be called LIKE MIKE. But LIKE someone. We are taking our time with this one. I believe this mite be bigger than original. Cant wait.”
