Doctor Claims Eazy-E Gave Two Of His Patients HIV/AIDS

We are knee-deep into The Mysterious Death of Eazy-E series on WEtv and in a recent episode, a doctor has made some eyebrow-raising statements. In 1995, the Compton rapper was admitted to the hospital after feeling ill. While there, Eazy reportedly discovered he had HIV/AIDS, and within weeks, the N.W.A. icon had passed away.

Unsurprisingly, conspiracy theories have abounded for decades as people have given their takes on what truly happened to the 30-year-old rapper. There have been allegations that he was purposefully injected with the virus while others have stated that he was murdered in the hospital and his death was covered up.

Yet, Dr. Wilbert Jordan told Jasmine Simpkins on the WEtv series that he personally treated two women who contracted HIV after having sex with Eazy-E. “What I’m hearing you say is that as his immune system diminished, the likelihood of him transmitting it to someone increases,” Simpkins said to Dr. Jordan. “The woman that he married was pregnant [and] had a child.”

Tomica Wright reportedly met Eazy-E in 1991 and the couple wed just 12 days before he died in 1995. They had two children together, the youngest being born six months after the rapper passed away. Tomica does not have HIV/AIDS.

“If she’s negative, the baby’s gonna be negative,” said Dr. Jordan. “She’s lucky ’cause she was exposed enough she could have.” Simpkins mentioned that Eazy had “other women in his life,” and Dr. Jordan chimed in to say, “And two of them was my patients.”

“One is still my patient,” he added before clarifying that the other is still alive, as well. Check out the clip from The Mysterious Death of Eazy-Ebelow.

Rapper Philthy Rich Laments He’s Looking At “Real Time” Over Firearms Charges

A Rap icon from Oakland is facing serious troubles with the law. Philthy Rich is considered a California legend in the industry and is known for his advocacy against violence in underserved communities, but it has been reported by the East Bay Times that the 38-year-old rapper is facing federal charges. The news outlet reports that it was back in July when Philthy Rich, real name Phillip Beasley, was tacked with charges of “conspiracy to make false statements in acquisition of a firearm, as well as one count of making a false statement in the purchase of a firearm.”

His co-defendant, a woman named Jasmine Garcia, is accused of purchasing firearms on the rapper’s behalf; those weapons reportedly included “three pistols from Precision Armory in Las Vegas.”

According to authorities, Garcia told the establishment that she was making the purchases for herself and even signed official documents stating as such. However, investigators claimed that Garcia handed over the weapons to Beasley, yet, the rapper’s attorney insists that his client is innocent.

“We are looking forward to the trial of this matter as our client absolutely maintains his innocence,” the attorney stated.

It is unclear why this investigation unfolded in the first place or what set off authorities to connect Garcia, the firearms, and Philthy Rich together. This isn’t the first time the rapper has had run-ins with the law, but he has reportedly managed to stay out of trouble for the last decade. In a video shared to Instagram, Beasley lamented that he is looking at “real time” while denying the allegations.

Earlier this year, Nicki Minaj made it clear that she was working on music thanks to the re-release of her beloved mixtape, Beam Me Up Scotty. Three new songs were attached to the re-uploaded project, with one of them being “Seeing Green” with Drake and Lil Wayne. From that moment on, new releases from the Minaj arrived at a consistent rate. She teamed with Polo G for their first collaboration before remixing BIA’s hit record, “Whole Lotta Money.” Nowadays, the Pink Friday rapper is hard at work on what appears to be her next album, and as she progresses with it, Nicki took to Twitter to put out a special request.

The NFL Is Releasing A Bunch Of Ed Sheeran Merch Ahead Of Its Season Opener

The 2021-22 NFL season officially kicks off on Thursday evening. The defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers will get the chance to celebrate their title by playing hosts to the first game of the year. On the other side of the field will be the Dallas Cowboys, which had a rough season last year but, with Dak Prescott returning from injury and a division that might be the weakest in the league, there are reasons to believe Dallas will be able to make its way back to the playoffs.

Because this is the NFL we’re talking about here, the league can’t just make the first game of the season a football game that is on our televisions. It has to make this an all-out event, including a pregame concert by Ed Sheeran. You have possibly seen this graphic by now…

Pretty good! Well it turns out the NFL has come down with a pretty bad case of Sheeranmania, because the league has decided to make a bunch of gear that has his name on it to celebrate his pregame performance.

Unfortunately, it appears there has never been a player with the last name Sheeran in the history of the league, which ruins any and all hopes I had with ending this post with a joke saying this gear paid reference to some random player from the 1930s.

Nick Cannon Will Keep Having Kids “If God Sees It That Way”

He recently welcomed his fifth, sixth, and seventh child just weeks apart, but Nick Cannon is not ruling out having more children. The media mogul has had a rocky year after facing off with the public over his anti-Semitic remarks. A scandal erupted, the future of his projects hung in the balance, but after making several public apologies, Nick Cannon is back on track.

We’re seeing the relaunch of Wild N Out and his talk show is in the works, but Cannon isn’t just dividing his time with his career efforts. Many of us have seen the memes about the actor and his four baby mamas, and while jokes have been made, Cannon is on board with possibly having more children.

A TMZ cameraperson caught up with Cannon and asked how he is managing to have so many children. “It’s just love. It’s the aura. It’s the essence,” he said. “If God willing, if God sees it that way, then I’ma keep goin’.” Then Cannon cracked a joke about having his own sperm bank. TMZ stuck around and later, Cannon received a tour of Harlem with the city’s icon Jim Jones by his side.

The rapper mentioned that they just finished shooting their Christmas movie Miracle on 125th St and added that they were strolling down that street at that very moment. You can check out both videos below.

GOP Candidate Larry Elder Physically Assaulted In Venice, Eggs Thrown: Report

California is in the thick of its recall election as nearly two dozen hopefuls are looking forward to taking the place of Governor Gavin Newsom. Californians have been voting for weeks as the September 14 date approaches for the conclusion of the election, and while left-wingers have done their best to keep Newsom in office, Larry Elder is hoping to be the Republican that takes the spot.

Elder has long been compared to Candace Owens and the pair have even sat down for a chat. Clips of their conversation have gone viral as Elder argued that if Black people should be awarded reparations on behalf of their enslaved ancestors, then slave owners are also owed the same for losing their property with emancipation.

While that is an entirely different topic to tackle, Elder made headlines earlier today (September 8) after he and his team were involved in a violent altercation in Venice, Calif. The GOP candidate visited a homeless encampment in the area, not uncommon for the beachfront city, but it didn’t take long for detractors to arrive with hostile reactions.

According to reports, Elder was only in the area for 12 minutes and during that time, someone threw eggs at him and people attempted to physically assault his staff.

“Today I kicked off the Recall Express bus tour,” he tweeted. “Before we even left Los Angeles, my security detail was physically assaulted, shot with a pellet gun, and hit with projectiles. The intolerant left will not stop us. We will recall Gavin Newsom. We will save California.”

However, community members have stated that Elder is not welcomed. Yet, Elder’s supporters have stormed social media by the thousands and are calling what happened to him in Venice a racist-fueled hate crime. Videos and images of the incident have gone viral, so check out footage of the altercation below.

Tuesday marks the start of this year’s New York Fashion Week, and people can expect celebrities to step out with their best outfits. One example came from Gunna. In a recent Instagram post, the rapper shared a picture of his own NYFW outfit, wearing what appeared to be a sheer long sleeve sweater covered by a leather vest. The rapper also rocked some above-the-knee shorts and tall leather Rick Owen boots.

Gunna captioned the photo “D . S . 4 (mask emoji),” which is the abbreviation of his upcoming album, Drip Season 4. The rapper previously released the project’s lead single, “9 Times Outta 10.” As for the rapper’s interesting outfit choice, once fans caught a glimpse of it they jumped on social media to share their thoughts. One wrote, “Every time I see Gunna he’s dressed like an evil Mary J. Blige,” while another said, “Gunna really put this sh*t on and said to himself ‘yeah this the fit.’”

Despite the jokes and the memes Gunna received about his NYFW outfit, the rapper seemed unbothered by the comments, as he’s yet to respond to the boatload of criticism.

Tidal Enters “Dinner With Jay-Z” Chat & Gives Its Choice

We’re back with another installment of “Dinner with Jay-Z or $500K?” It is the viral question that pops up every once in a while, albeit with an amended number or a different artist. This time, the Roc Nation mogul is at the center of the conversation as artists and fans debate which is more valuable: a conversation with Hov or half a million dollars.

We have previously reported in this debate at length, especially as people go to verbal war with one another on social media. The discussion was recently reignited, but it seems that Tidal wants to put it all to rest…for the time being.

On Twitter, the official Tidal account weighed in. First, the platform retweeted several memes including one that showed Jay casually enjoying a meal with his daughter. In the caption, it read, “So why you ain’t take the $500K?” After getting a few laughs from the public’s response, Tidal itself wrote, “Take the $500K.”

Still, this will all depend on what a person finds most valuable, and there is a divide. One side believes they can glean wisdom from the billionaire mogul, while others aren’t sure that a conversation is the start-up they need to launch their dreams. Let us know where you stand and check out a few posts below.

“Jackass” Stars Have Accumulated Over $24Mil In Medical Bills: Report

It is safe to say that over the years, the crew of Jackasshas racked up quite a few medical bills. The group of friends turned stunt performers have been showcasing their outrageous, and often disgusting antics since 2000, and throughout that time, audiences have seen them face several injuries. From bruises to broken necks and everything in between, Jackass has seen its fair share of hair-raising moments.

Now, a study by Nova Legal Funding has shown that the franchise has dished out a pretty penny as they have concluded that Jackass paid over $24 million in medical costs.

CNET reports that after dissecting 79 injuries from six of the franchise’s stars, “including 28 broken bones, 36 head injuries and an alligator bite,” they came up with the hefty number. However, if others in the cast were also taken into consideration, Jackass could have possibly paid closer to $38 million.

Further inspection from the group broke down how this number was divvied up.

Nova Legal Funding released the Jackass Injury List on Sept. 2. Knoxville is at the top of the injury list with over $8.66 million in medical bills, and Ehren McGhehey is a close second having racked up over $7.38 million in medical expenses. Steve-O amassed over $5.82 million, Dave England came in at over $1.65 million, while Jason “Wee Man” Acuña and Preston Lacy closed up the list with $675,000 and $75,000, respectively.

“While the majority of the injuries caused by the crew of Jackass are self-inflicted, and the average person doesn’t usually injure themselves this often, we wanted to show how much these painful accidents cost in medical bills, so fans of the show can appreciate the financial and medical consequences of living such an adrenaline-fueled life,” Nova’s CEO penned in the study.

Jackass Forever was initially slated for release in October, but the film has been pushed back until February 2022.
