Megan Thee Stallion, Maluma, & Rock Mafia Unite On “Crazy Family”

“Just in time for my favorite season,” Megan Thee Stallion teased on Twitter last weekend. “Collabed with @maluma for ADAMS FAMILY 2 out Oct. 1st.” The second animated Addam’s Family film arrives at the top of the morning on Friday (October 1), and to help build a buzz about the family-friendly film, “Crazy Family” has hit DSPs.

The track, as Megan revealed days ago, features the Houston Rapper, Maluma, and Rock Mafia. Those explicit lyrics are kept on ice this time around as “Crazy Family” will be included on a soundtrack made for both kids and adults. In Addams Family 2, viewers will find Gomez, Morticia, and their creepy and kooky relatives embarking on a road trip while crammed together in a camper. The film stars Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Snoop Dogg, Chloë Grace Moretz, Nick Kroll, and many other notable entertainers.

Weird, but I’m wonderful, crazy, but I’m confident (Confident)
I can find a brighter side to any name they hit me with
I’m in that all-black (Yeah), I think I’m all that (All that)

Skylar Grey Rallies Eminem, Polo G, & Mozzy For “Last One Standing”

After much teasing, “Last One Standing” has arrived. We’ve reported on the gossip and updates leading up to this release, and just ahead of Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage hitting movie theaters, the anticipated Skylar Grey collaboration with Mozzy, Polo G, and Eminem was revealed. The slow-burning single seemingly complements each of the different artists as they approach the track in their own style and rhythm.

Back in 2018, Eminem championed “Venom,” a song pulled from his acclaimed Kamikaze album that also served as the title track for the first Venom film. Just prior to the release of “Last One Standing,” Eminem was in his hometown of Detroit at his newly opened downtown restaurant, Mom’s Spaghetti. He posed for photos with fans and surprised them by serving food at the walk-up window.

Quotable Lyrics

But all you see is the fame and the millions
You don’t see the strength and resilience (Nah)
How I rack my brain but it feels as if I’m tryna explain it to children (Damn)
So a lot of this pain isn’t healin’, you’re escapin’ at this dangerous feeling
Almost like recreatin’ a feelin’ of 9/11 when the second plane hit the building
So let ’em paint you the villain

Eminem Surprises Fans At Mom’s Spaghetti Restaurant, Poses For Photos

It was expected for there to be a massive turnout at Mom’s Spaghetti, but no one thought Eminem would actually make an appearance. The rapper has recently opened the restaurant within Union Assembly in Detroit and while people were already excited for the “Lose Yourself” referenced eatery to open, they went wild to see Em face-to-face.

The Detroit Free Press reported that fans were lined up for blocks ahead of the restaurant’s opening, with many even camping out from the early morning hours in anticipation.

Once the walk-up window slid open, those firsts guests were treated to surprise as Eminem was the person making their order. Mom’s Spaghetti has a predictable vegan-friendly menu with very few options, but still, it is a hit. The first 10 people in line were able to meet Em and take photos with him before he treated them to a free meal.

“The opportunity to build a permanent location based on an incredibly meta-reference was one that everyone at Union Joints, as a Metro Detroit restaurant group, took very seriously,” Union Joints Restaurant Group co-owner Curt Catallo said in a press release. “We’re proud of the fact that we created a scratch sauce that tastes like it’s straight from the jar, and wok-firing the noodles gives it that leftover pasta snap.”

The second floor of Union Assembly hosts a store called Trailer, aptly named after the rapper’s 8 Mile character’s home. Fans can reportedly find Shady Records merchandise as well as general Detroit branded clothing. In the future, Trailer will reportedly host Eminem memorabilia including his “Without Me” superhero garb.

Yung Baby Tate Slams Critics Who Made Rude Comments About Her Natural Body

She rocked the stage at last weekend’s Afropunk festival, but Yung Baby Tate was later hit with criticism. Some have called the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star the next in line, and as her fans continue to support her performances and releases, not everyone is approving of her look. At Afropunk, Tate wore a leopard outfit with a top that showed her stomach, and people were quick to make jokes and rude remarks about her body.

It didn’t faze Yung Baby Tate one bit, but she did share an image of herself at the festival with a caption that praised women who have opted against cosmetic surgery. For days she’s been going back and forth with naysayers, but she finalized the conversation with the post.

“As Queen Bey once said, ‘wanna see some REAL A$$?! Baby here’s your chance!’ Shoutout to all my natural bellied bodies,” wrote Tate. “I see you, I am you, I love you. No matter WHAT my body looks like, it is MINE and I love it! Please go project your insecurities onto a piece of paper, burn it, and throw it away. Then go look in the mirror and tell yourself how much you are loved.”

In an industry where BBLs and liposuction are the norms, Yung Baby Tate has regularly faced criticism for deciding to show off all of her curves. Several people co-signed her message, but many added that people can be proud of their surgically enhanced bodies, as well. Check out Yung Baby Tate’s posts below.

Ellen Pompeo Cussed Out Denzel Washington On “Grey’s Anatomy” Set

There have been several guest directors on Grey’s Anatomy, but apparently, Denzel Washington’s inclusion stirred up controversy behind the scenes. The award-winning actor has dipped his toes in all facets of the industry, although he is best known for his applause-worthy portrayals in each and every film on his resumé.

However, when he directed “The Sound of Silence” back in 2016, Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo revealed she allegedly got into a heated discussion with Washington.

The actress was on her Tell Me with Ellen Pompeo podcast with former co-star Patrick Dempsey when she recalled the interaction. According to Pompeo, she was in the middle of a scene and decided to improvise a few lines and yelled them at the other character. Because the lines weren’t in the script, Pompeo claims Washington went off.

“That wasn’t in the dialogue. And Denzel went ham on my ass. He was like, ‘I’m the director. Don’t you tell him what to do,'” she said. “I was like, ‘Listen, motherf*cker, this is my show.’ This is my set. Who are you telling?” Pompeo added that she has no animosity with Washington and they were able to lay aside their differences.

“So, we didn’t get through it without a fight, but that’s actors for you,” she said. “Passionate and fiery and that’s where you get the magic, and that’s where you get the good stuff. So, it was an amazing experience, it really was.”

Social media users made this story a trending topic and had much to say about Pompeo screaming at Denzel. Check it out below.

Skylar Grey Recruits Eminem, Polo G, And Mozzy For The Victorious ‘Last One Standing’

After a couple of weeks worth of speculation, the music world has finally received the anticipated collaboration between Skylar Grey, Eminem, Polo G, and Mozzy. “Last One Standing” is a victorious track that finds the four artists celebrating their ability to overcome life’s obstacles. It was teased for multiple weeks with some believing that it would be Eminem’s return to music and even a sign that he had a new album on the way. However, that’s not the case as the new song finds Grey in the driver seat with the three rappers providing support for her message. The track will also appear on the upcoming soundtrack for Venom: Let There Be Carnage, a film that debuts in theaters on Friday, October 1.

Anticipation behind the track first began when Mozzy’s manager teased a collaboration with Eminem. Later on, in a pair of now-deleted tweets, Polo G informed his fans to stay tuned for something arriving on October 1. Skylar Grey tied it all together with a tease of her own on Twitter. “This month has been hellish,” she wrote. “But I see the light at the end… can’t wait for October 1st… mark your calendar.” Luckily for their fans, “Last One Standing” arrived a couple of days early.

While “Last One Standing” marks Grey’s first collaboration with Mozzy and Polo G, the track appears on the lengthy list of songs she and Eminem have done together. It includes “Black Magic,” “C’mon Let Me Ride,” “Kill For You,” “Asshole,” “Leaving Heaven,” and more.

Bill Cosby Promotes Boosie Badazz’s “My Struggle,” Wants It To Be A “Box Office Success”

One day after stating that he believed R. Kelly “got railroaded” with a guilty verdict, Bill Cosby is back in headlines. The veteran entertainer knows a thing or two about the effects of a sex crimes scandal and the feeling had when learning of a conviction, so he expressed sympathy to the music icon. Cosby has often come forward to speak up for those that he believes deserve support or for those that defend him against allegations of sexual misconduct. Following his remarks about Kelly, Cosby reappeared on his Instagram to give a shoutout to Boosie Badazz, a longtime supporter.

Boosie has recently released his biopic My Struggle and has run into a few roadblocks now that the film has appeared on YouTube and pirating sites for free. The rapper has lamented over people placing a dent in his profits, but Cosby wanted Boosie to know that he had his support.

On Instagram, Cosby uploaded the poster of My Struggle and wrote, “Lil Boosie, I have always appreciated your truth and support. What I’m about to say, is not to compensate you because you supported Bill Cosby. My publicist, Mr. Andrew Wyatt told me about your film, ‘My Struggle’ and I am encouraging all of my supporters and fans to make this American Citizen, Lil Boosie’s film, ‘My Struggle’ a box office success.”

“Thank you very much.” The internet had quite a bit to say about this unlikely friendship, so you can check it out for yourself below.
