Foolio Makes His Return With Lengthy Project “Love Me Like I’m Dead (Last Call)”

Foolio made massive waves this past Spring after his highly publicized beef with fellow Jacksonville artist Yungeen Ace. The beef got incredibly ugly, especially after Ace and Foolio traded diss songs in “Who I Smoke” and “When I See You.” The two artists got some viral success from the beef, and now, they are each dropping their own projects. After dropping Love Me Like I’m Dead back in November of 2020, Foolio has returned with Love Me Like I’m Dead (Last Call) which is a deluxe project of sorts that adds 12 new tracks, including “Whip Bump.”

With these 12 new tracks, Foolio showcases his versatility as he offers a plethora of different sounds. From catchy bubbly tunes to more sinister gang-related tracks, Foolio pulls out all of the tricks with this deluxe album. For those who got introduced to Foolio through his diss tracks, this album will serve as a solid reminder of what Foolio can do on a song when he’s not focused on one person in particular.

It’s yet another solid effort from the young artist, and you can stream it, below.

Who Is Cade Cunningham? Everything You Need To Know About The Pistons’ First Overall Pick

Every single year, the NBA hosts the infamous entry draft which sees a plethora of talented young players make their way into the league. The entry draft is of particular importance to teams that have failed throughout previous seasons. If you are selecting within the top five picks, then you are what is considered to be a “lottery team.” Lottery teams typically have the worst records in the NBA, and they are always desperate for superstar-caliber talent. The draft poses the perfect opportunity to change a team’s fortunes, especially if said team is choosing first overall.

Last night, the Detroit Pistons were the lucky team that held the first overall pick. For months, they had the opportunity to scout and talk with the best college players throughout the country in order to make an informed decision on which young man would lead the franchise to the promised land. In the end, the Pistons selected Cade Cunningham out of Oklahoma State. The 19-year-old burgeoning star was at the top of everyone’s power rankings, and it was practically a foregone conclusion that the Pistons would wind up taking him. Considering his accolades on his way to college superstardom, it should come as no surprise that Cunningham was so highly touted heading into this draft.

As a 6’8″, 220-pound point guard, you can already see why teams were fawning over him. It’s not every day you can get a point guard with this kind of size, and once he steps on the floor with his Pistons teammates, it’s extremely likely that he will appear NBA-ready. Unless you already have a superstar point guard on your roster, it’s safe to assume any team in the NBA would want Cunningham commanding their floor.

When it comes to his ascension towards NBA superstardom, it becomes crystal clear that Cunningham has been gunning for the NBA ever since he was a freshman in high school. Cunningham was born and raised in Arlington, Texas, by his mother Carrie, and his father Keith. The basketball star’s dad was actually a football player for Texas Tech, which ultimately led to Cunningham getting invested in sports at a young age. Throughout his childhood, Cunningham played both football and basketball, although he eventually chose basketball as his dominant sport, thanks to his older brother’s college career. In just his freshman year at Bowie High School in his hometown of Arlington, Cunningham made it to the varsity basketball team, and he was so good that he even became a starter. His rookie season was nothing short of impressive thanks to a campaign that saw him put up big numbers for a freshman, including 15.2 points per game and 6.4 rebounds per game. The young star led his high school to the regional final, and it was only up from there.

After an MVP-winning sophomore season in which Cunningham averaged just shy of 19 points per game, the young star decided to transfer to Montverde Academy for his Junior year in 2018. The Florida high school was highly regarded as one of the best in the entire country, and with college offers just a couple of years away, Cunningham knew he was going to have to change schools in order to get better looks from scouts across the country. Not to mention, Cunningham had just had his first child, and with this new responsibility in his life, he knew he needed to do whatever he could to provide for his family. Cunningham made the most of his time at Montverde as he won numerous awards such as Nike Elite Youth Basketball League MVP, Naismith Prep Player Of The Year, Mr. Basketball USA, and MaxPreps National Player Of The Year. Cunningham was in the midst of building quite the resume, and schools throughout the country took notice. After receiving numerous offers from big programs, Cunningham chose to go to Oklahoma State despite the fact they had been banned from postseason competitions. Cunningham even shined at the FIBA Under-19 World Cup, where he snagged a gold medal with Team USA.

At the time of his decision to join Oklahoma State, Cunningham was a five-star recruit who had been approached by teams like Duke and North Carolina. Regardless, he stuck to his convictions and stayed down south, where he got to be the lone superstar on an emerging Oklahoma State squad. As you can imagine, his freshman year of college was extremely successful as he averaged 20.1 points per game as well as 6.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists. These stats were good enough to make him an NCAA Freshman Player of the Year, as well as an All-American First Team member. It wasn’t long before Cunningham declared for the NBA draft and immediately became a sports media darling who had every analyst championing him as the next first overall pick.

During his interviews with the media, Cunningham has shown off a superstar personality that will certainly play well to the Detroit market. The Pistons have been looking for a charismatic player for a while now, and Cunningham will certainly be that guy. After being drafted by the Pistons, Cunningham beamed with pride while talking about his veganism and how his lifestyle choices have helped shape him. He is a young man who stands by his convictions, and he will be a massive part of the Pistons’ future, which is beginning to look brighter and brighter by the day.

Of course, no first overall pick is a sure thing. Although with Cunningham’s cache in mind, it seems as though the Pistons have positioned themselves for a solid decade of basketball.

CDC Reportedly Paid NFL Alumni Millions For Vaccine Promotion

One of the biggest struggles the United States has had when it comes to fighting COVID-19 is the lack of trust in the vaccine amongst large portions of the population. The country’s vaccination rates have dropped significantly over the past few months and other countries are already surpassing the States when it comes to percentages of the population that are inoculated. This is bad news for the country as COVID-19 cases continue to rise, all while hospitalizations spike as well.

Sports leagues around the country have been trying to get a stranglehold on COVID-19, including the NFL who has implemented some strict guidelines for next year. In fact, the NFL Alumni Association has now linked up with the CDC, who is tasking them with promoting the vaccine to players and the broader community.

According to TMZ, the CDC is paying the association a whopping $3.5 million to do so, and they have high hopes that the Alumni Association’s work can spread positivity in the community.

“The [CDC] intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to The NFL Alumni Association (NFLA),” the CDC wrote in a notice of intent. “The overall purpose of this contract is to facilitate collaboration among NFL Alumni and federal state and local public health officials as well as other local leaders to address vaccine hesitancy through communication and engagement with communities less likely to get vaccinated.”

The president of the Association is former Giants player Bart Oates who is fully on board with the new effort. The NFL is very serious about getting people vaccinated, and it seems as though the Alumni Association is even more committed to that goal. Only time will tell whether or not these efforts make a significant impact.

Kevin Durant Surpasses Massive Carmelo Anthony Milestone

Kevin Durant is one of the greatest basketball players of all time and while his haters might not want to hear that, there is no denying this man’s talent. For fourteen years, Durant has dominated the NBA and he only gets better with time. He is fresh off of a huge comeback season with the Brooklyn Nets, and now, he is in Tokyo where he is trying to help the United States get the gold medal in men’s basketball.

While the United States has struggled at times, they are starting to find their footing, and today, they are playing against the Czech Republic. This game was a massive opportunity for KD as he was in a prime position to surpass Carmelo Anthony as Team USA’s leading scorer in Olympic history.

Well, that is exactly what Durant did today as he drained a gorgeous three-pointer in the second quarter to officially pass Carmelo’s Olympic totals. At the time of the bucket, Durant had 339 points while Melo had 336. Considering the fact that Melo’s time with Team USA is officially over, it’s safe to say that Durant’s record won’t get touched for a long time.

The game against the Czech Republic is still ongoing, and as it stands, the Americans have a massive 34-point lead in the fourth quarter. Stay tuned to HNHH as we will continue to bring you updates from the Olympics.

Logic Delivers Some Nostalgia-Inducing Sounds On “Flawless”

When Logic announced his retirement from hip-hop back in 2020, many fans were saddened to see him go. After all, he had a massive run in the 2010s, and it is always a shock to the system when a prominent artist decides to take a step back. However, retirement started to bore Logic, and in the end, he decided to come back to the profession he’s always loved. On Friday, he dropped Bobby Tarantino III and fans are pleased with the return.

One of the big standouts on the album is a track called “Flawless” in which the artist raps about his significant other who he believes to be perfect. As far as bars go, Logic sounds as locked in as ever, all while the production is extremely clean and nostalgic. From the piercing synths to the chord stabs on the guitars, this track feels like it is a hybrid of the 80s and the future.

Quotable Lyrics:

Take it back like ’03, want the old me
What they told me but don’t know me
Jump on it, make it pop back like you owe me
Don’t stop that, just show me

Isaiah Rashad And Smino Slide On Smooth New Track “Claymore”

Isaiah Rashad is an artist that fans have been waiting on for quite some time now. After a long wait between projects, some supporters were worried that Rashad would never actually drop. In the end, Rashad was able to reassure his fans as he announced the release date for The House Is Burning, just a few weeks ago. Now, the album is finally out and fans are ecstatic about everything they’ve heard so far. There are plenty of standout tracks here, including the effort with Smino called “Claymore.”

On this track, we are met with a silky smooth instrumental that contains some light drums and jazzy guitar loops in the background. From there, Rashad and Smino lead the way with some crisp vocal melodies that help add to the jazz-infused feel of the song. All of the elements come together to create an amazing song that works perfectly within the context of the album.

Quotable Lyrics:

Do-do you wanna play in the backseat? Pardon my break
Do you wanna live in the fast lane? Shawty, I might (Might)
Lo-lo-losin’ my, losin’ my, losin’ myself, I’m high (I’m high)
Cr-cr-cruisin’ now, cruisin’ now, crush it up, crush it up, nice (Nice)

Zion Williamson’s Snapchat Message Exposed On TikTok

Zion Williamson is one of the biggest names in the NBA right now and while he might not be among the upper echelon of players, he is still a highlight-reel machine who made a name for himself at Duke. While playing for the New Orleans Pelicans, Zion has shown off tremendous upside and there is no doubt he can become a top 10 player in the league over the coming years. With a better team around him, one could argue that Zion will one day become the face of the league.

With fame comes a lot of pitfalls and Zion understands this better than anyone. For instance, while at Duke, a girl exposed him on Twitter for sending her thirsty videos. The whole thing went viral and eventually, it blew over. Unfortunately, it appears as though Zion has been caught up again, this time by yet another girl on Snapchat.

A girl by the name of Morgan Davis took to TikTok with a video of herself scrolling through Snapchat, only to find a DM from Zion Williamson where he asks her if she wants to link up. The girl seems to be exasperated by the whole ordeal as she opens up the message begrudgingly. The video was then posted to Twitter where it eventually went viral.

Fans were giving a steady dose of blame to both parties, as they felt like the situation could have been avoided. On Zion’s side, fans believe he should be more careful with who DMs, while other fans scolded the young woman for exposing Zion for clout. The narrative at this point is that the woman “fumbled the bag,” although we doubt she was thinking about that when she made the TikTok.

Needless to say, Zion’s going to have to think extra hard next time when he goes to message another girl from Snapchat.

Adam Driver & Lady Gaga Become Famed Couple In “House Of Gucci” Trailer

Two of Hollywood’s most coveted actors, Adam Driver and Lady Gaga, have finally had their roles as fashion icon Maurizio Gucci and wife Patrizia Reggiani revealed to the world in the first trailer for the upcoming House of Gucci movie. Based on the 2001 book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed by Sara Gay Forden, the true-crime movie is set to revolve around the 1995 murder of her husband– the head of international fashion powerhouse Gucci. Clashing egos within the family, corporate corruption, and Reggiani’s organized assassination of her husband will define the movie thematically.

“I don’t see myself as being a particularly ethical person, but I am fair,” Gaga’s Reggiani says as the trailer portrays the increasing control the wife had over the business leading up to the murder of her husband. Reggiani was convicted of planning and ordering the murder of her husband and spent 18 years in prison. She was released in 2016.

“The story is so epic, the stakes so high and the characters so richly drawn,” co-producer Giannina Scott said about the film. Her and Academy Award winning husband Ridley Scott are producing the movie together: “This project has long been a labor of love for both Ridley and me.” Other faed actors who make it into the trailer are Academy Award winning Jared Leto and Al Pacino.

MGM Film Chairman Michael De Luca had nothing but praise for the film, especially Ridley Scott’s involvement: “Nothing typifies bold, audacious originality more than a film by Ridley Scott.”

Check out the trailer below.
