One of the more underrated silhouettes to come out of Jumpman is the Air Jordan 13. Michael Jordan gave this shoe some shine in the late 90s as he was gearing up to leave the Chicago Bulls for the second time. There were plenty of dope colorways that made their way to the market, and over the past couple of years, Jumpman has been stocking up on new Jordan 13 offerings.

The latest Air Jordan 13 to be shown off is the “White/Dark Powder Blue” model, otherwise known as Obsidian. In the photos below, you can see how the sneaker has a mostly white leather upper that engulfs each side, as well as the midsole. From there, navy blue is placed all the way down the tongue and the sides in a way that gives this shoe a streamlined look to it. Finally, powder blue highlights are found on the outsole and Jumpman logo, to give a UNC vibe.

If you are planning on grabbing a pair of these, you will be able to do so as of Saturday, August 14th for a price of $190 USD. These are sure to be a great addition to any collection, especially if you’re a fan of the 13. Let us know what you think of these, in the comments section below.

Dess Dior has provided an update on how she’s feeling after testing positive for COVID-19, telling her fans that she has some of the most documented symptoms, including a loss of taste and pressure in her eyes. However, she wants people to know that she’s expecting to recover fully, issuing a promising statement this week.

Following her performance at Rolling Loud last weekend, Dess Dior revealed that she tested positive for COVID. She’s been recovering at her home and she expects to be better soon, telling fans, “I got pressure on my eyes a little bit, not as bad as it was. I’m not nauseous like I was. I couldn’t hold down anything. I’m starting to eat a little more. I did lose my taste. But it could be worse and the best part about it is, I’m not dying… I’m not on my deathbed so thank you guys for your prayers, thank you for the remedies, but I will be fine. I can’t wait until this is over, hopefully, it’s over soon.”

Hopefully, she’s right and it’s nothing serious. Dess hasn’t revealed whether she was vaccinated against COVID or not, but with this Delta variant, even some vaccinated folks are reporting that they’re catching COVID. Stay safe out there and if you went to Rolling Loud last weekend (or you’re going to Lollapalooza this weekend), make sure to get tested before and after. Don’t go anywhere if you’re feeling sick.

When an artist refrains from releasing new music for a few years, let alone five, it can sometimes be hard for them to live up to the unrealistic expectations that fans have for their new output. Today, as fans eat up his third studio album, The House Is Burning, Isaiah Rashad doesn’t have that problem. The TDE artist’s long-awaited project serves as his first full-length effort since 2016’s The Sun’s Tirade, and the 16-track project features guest appearances from Lil Uzi Vert, Duke Deuce, 6lack, SZA, Jay Rock, and Smino. 

Apparently, The House Is Burning is giving what it’s supposed to give, because Twitter has erupted with reactions to the album, causing Zay Wop‘s big day to feel even more significant for the Tennessee rapper.

Countless fans have hit Twitter to offer their praise for Isaiah Rashad’s new album, and even Hip-Hop artists like Vince Staples, ScHoolboy Q, Deante’ Hitchcock, and IDK have also given Zay Wop his props over the course of the day. Judging from the Twitter reactions, “RIP Young” definitely appears to be an early standout from the album, but tracks like “From The Garden,” “True Story,” and “Score” have been receiving plenty of love as well.

Today, supergroup Silk Sonic — consisting of Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars, kindred spirits when it comes to dulcet tones and multi-instrumentalism — have returned with their brand new single “Skate.” As expected, the tune is another surefire hit, destined for steady rotation for the duration of the summer and beyond. 

Fueled by a masterclass in percussive chemistry from Paak and Mars, “Skate” further cements the possibility that we may as well be on the verge of a modern r&b classic. Shortly after the track’s release, Bruno Mars took a moment to hit up Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1. During their brief conversation, Bruno shares a little bit of insight into the track’s creation, which appears to have stemmed from an overwhelming desire to play the congas.

“Me and the team was thinking about what if we were performing in the middle of a roller rink, what would that baseline be doing?” he muses. “What would the guitar be doing? What would the drums be talking about? And I wanted to play congas and that’s what you get. You get a song called “Skate”. Talking about I’m trying to float. I’m trying to glide.” 

“I’m excited, “Skate” being our second single, because the sun is out and I’m hoping everybody’s outside, everybody’s at the pool, at the beach, barbecuing, listen to some Silk Sonic,” he continues. “The vibe’s always fun. Andy’s always cracking everybody up, playing the hell out of the drums. I got to play congas on this song and we were just going back and forth, trying to come up with the best melodies. We wanted everyone to feel like they were floating and gliding, slipping and sliding. And we’re very proud of this record. I hope you all enjoy it.”

A Ma Maniére is one of the most well-known sneaker boutiques in the United States and over the years, they have come through with some truly amazing collaboration with Jumpman. The latest A Ma Maniére collab came on the Air Jordan 3 “Raised By Women” which remains one of the most significant releases of the year. It is a shoe that was beloved by many, and with 2021 marching on, it appears as though A Ma Maniére is gearing up for yet another shoe.

Thanks to the Instagram sneaker account @fxxkvlogvi, we now have a fresh look at this A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 1 High OG which is sure to get sneakerheads excited. As you can see in the posts below, the shoe has a white suede base all while burgundy red highlights are placed throughout, specifically on the Nike swoosh which seems to be made out of some sort of textured material.

As it stands, there is no confirmation as to whether or not this model will actually be released to the public. Regardless, the existence of these images proves that the shoe has, indeed, been produced, which means fans should be cautiously optimistic about a future release.

Lollapalooza was basically Cartipalooza last night, with the Atlanta rapper dominating the music festival and turning up the crowd before headliner Miley Cyrus performed. The audience was lit during his show, dancing and moshing to his Whole Lotta Red hits, including “Punk Monk,” “Sky,” and “Rockstar Made.” Fans have been raving over his performance, with some claiming it might have been the most animated Carti show in a long time. Obviously, after such a long hiatus from the stage, Carti (and every other artist!) is excited to get back to performing, and he made the most of it on Thursday night.

Backstage, a few of Carti’s peers were turning up, including Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J, who clearly loved everything they heard.

Posting a video of themselves dancing during “New Tank,” Wiz Khalifa gave the camera some major stink face and motioned to the camera on the beat. Juicy J was by his side, masking up and jumping to the track, clearly having a good time.

It’s nice to see Wiz and Juicy having fun together and supporting the new generation. Playboi Carti has been in this position for a minute but he continues to be one of the best showmen in rap. Watch Wiz and Juicy J turning up to his concert below.

Kyle Kuzma was highly scrutinized during his time with the Los Angeles Lakers, and the criticism reached a boiling point in the 2021 NBA Playoffs when Kuzma failed to be LeBron’s second option after Anthony Davis went down with an injury. For the last couple of months, fans have been calling for Kuzma to be traded as they felt as though he wasn’t contributing as much to the team anymore. In recent days, rumors of a Kuzma trade had been highly publicized and it was becoming clear that he would be on the move, sooner rather than later.

On Thursday, that trade finally came as Kuzma was sent to the Washington Wizards alongside Montrezl Harrell and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, in exchange for Russell Westbrook. It was a massive move that had the whole NBA world talking, and now, Kuzma is saying his peace. Today, the player took to Instagram, with a message for the Lakers organization.

“Man oh man where do I begin??? Lakeshow we’ve had a journey,” Kuzma wrote. “I was 21 and just a young pup coming here and you guys opened up your arms openly and accepted me into the LA community! Coming into to this league I told Robby, Jeanie and Magic that all I wanted to do here is help be apart of something special and help be apart one of those banners (now) 17 banners and dammit we did it! I wouldn’t change anything about my journey everything has been a lesson to me! Ive learned the game of basketball from some of the best players to ever do it on earth while being in LA and now it’s time for me to get out there and really spread my wings and be who I say I am. LUV LA I’m a laker for life.”

Kuzma seems ready to take on the new challenge in Washington, and we’re sure the Wizards fanbase will be excited to see him alongside Bradley Beal. The Wizards have a young core right now and they could find themselves in the playoffs again next year, especially if the team finds some chemistry.

Last night, the Los Angeles Lakers made the biggest move of the offseason as they traded the likes of Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope for Russell Westbrook. This is a move that no one saw coming as it was believed these players would be dealt for someone like Buddy Hield. While Hield could still be added to the deal as part of a three-team trade, there is no denying that the Lakers just got better as they now have an extremely athletic point guard who is a triple-double machine.

As for free agency, the Lakers are expected to be active with the little cap space they have left. The team is desperate for shooters and moving forward, it appears as though the team is interested in expanding its veteran presence. In fact, a new report from Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report states that the Lakers have their eye on a Spurs player.

That Spurs player just so happens to be Rudy Gay, who posted a three-point shooting efficiency of 38 percent last season. This would immediately make him one of the better shooters on the roster, and at this point, the Lakers would be better off with him on the roster. For now, the interest seems to be mutual, and if Gay wants the best shot at someday winning a title, the Lakers would be his best option.
