Young Nudy’s new album Dr. Ev4l is out now on RCA Records and as he continues to roll out the release, his new video for “Soul Keeper” highlights what fans can expect from the project overall: airy beats and a non-stop flow from Nudy. It’s simple but effective, as Nudy raps in a penthouse overlooking the city and in the street with his crew backing him up.
Nudy’s other standouts from the project include “2Face” with G Herbo and 21 Savage on “Child’s Play.” The album is his second major-label realease after debut project Anyways dropped just ahead of the coronavirus pandemic’s shutdown of live touring in 2020.
Nudy’s back catalog recently made headlines when a video of partying students causing a floor to collapse while Nudy’s “EA” played in the background went viral. One of the students created a GoFundMe campaign to help pay for repairs, explaining that the owner of the Airbnb where the party was held was home during the party and approved of the students’ graduation celebration. “Call y’all spam Young Nudy ina comments,” the student requested. “He gotta kno what his music doin to people.”

As the saying usually goes, “the third time’s the charm,” but Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma struck gold on his second attempt at sliding in supermodel Winnie Harlow’s DMs.
Harlow apparently never saw Kuzma’s first message back in 2019, which she says was due to an Instagram “glitch.” Nonetheless, the basketball star was caught up in dating rumors with Kendall Jenner around this same time, after the two were seen hanging out on the Fourth of July, thus perhaps preventing a further narrative for Harlow and Kuzma in the first place. Still, both Kuzma and Jenner eventually put the rumor to rest, declaring that they were just friends.
On an Ellen appearance on Tuesday, Harlow explained in reminiscing on her relationship, “I got a DM a year prior from my boyfriend, and I’ve never seen it. I don’t know what the glitch in the system with Instagram is, but that never came up for me.”
Kuzma wasn’t ready to give up on Harlow after that though, sending another DM, and later, posting a picture of her at the beginning of 2020. His shot went in the net that time, and the two began to bond throughout the early days of quarantine. Harlow told Ellen the two were “on FaceTime for 24 hours, every single day for a month.”
As the end of the month drew near, Kuzma asked Harlow to take things to the next level. He asked her to come to visit him in his home city on the West Coast and the two have been inseparable ever since. Harlow made the move to L.A. to be with her boo and made the change permanent, after the recent purchase of her first home.

Snoop Dogg has been making some major moves in the last few days. On Monday, it was announced that the legendary rapper had taken on a role at Def Jam as Executive Creative and Strategic Consultant. Two days later, news broke that he had formally appointed his wife, Shante Broadus, as his manager. With all of the steps that Uncle Snoop is taking for his future, he’s making sure to keep all of his fans in the loop, updating his socials with tons of pictures in his boss ‘fit.
Entering “executive mode” at the record label, Snoop Dogg got all dressed up in a black tuxedo, fully prepared for his first day at the office. He gave everyone a good look at the heat on his feet too, sharing a close-up of his luxury loafers. “Boss moves in. Boss Shoes,” he wrote as his caption.
After the rapper’s disastrous week watching his hometown Los Angeles Lakers get bounced out of the NBA Playoffs in the first round, Snoop made sure to stack up some wins for himself. You love to see it.

As she continues to take a stand against forceful media obligations, tennis star Naomi Osaka has withdrawn from the Berlin WTA 5000 tournament, a pre-Wimbledon event set for June 14. This comes a couple weeks after the 23-year-old withdrew from the French Open, where she was fined $15,000 for skipping her media obligations in order to prioritize her mental health.
“Though the tennis press has always been kind to me, I am not a natural public speaker and get huge waves of anxiety before I speak to the world’s media,” Osaka said in a May 31 statement posted to Twitter following her French Open withdrawal.
Her decision to withdraw from the French Open and the Berlin WTA 5000 has been subject to much debate in the tennis world as well as the overall professional sports community. Athletes across all sports have media obligations written into the contracts that pay theim their monumental salaries, and Osaka has been criticized for choosing to skip out on her French Open press. But she’s managed to turn this controversy into a crucial moment of mental health advocacy, one highlighting that even the world’s biggest star athletes aren’t living perfect and happy lives.
“I’m gonna take some time away from the court now, but when the time is right I really want to work with the Tour to discuss ways we can make things better for the players, press and fans,” Osaka said later in her French Open withdrawal statement.
For the moment, Osaka is still set to play in Wimbledon starting June 28, but her decision to pull out of the Berlin tune-up tournament is raising doubts about whether she will play in that event too.

LeBron James is officially switching back to No. 6 on his jersey next season with the Los Angeles Lakers, as reported by Shams Charania and Tim Cato of The Athletic.
The news was announced on Wednesday afternoon. The reports specify that Anthony Davis will be keeping his No. 3 jersey next season instead of switching back to No. 23, which he used with the New Orleans Pelicans.
Previously, LeBron wore No. 6 as a member of the Miami Heat. He hasn’t worn the number since then but many believe he wore the number during his best years, so we might be in for a special year from The King. The official reason for the switch wasn’t reported but when the Lakers traded for Anthony Davis, the original plan was for LeBron to allow him to use No. 23.

The Lakers’ season ended after a disappointing first-round exit in the Playoffs. They were bounced by the Pheonix Suns after LeBron and Davis both suffered injuries. LeBron never completely healed from a high ankle injury, while Anthony Davis reaggravated a groin injury in the first round.

Basketball fans received a second glimpse of the LeBron James-led Space Jam: A New Legacy in a new trailer released today.
The sequel to the 1996 original that starred Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan will feature James in the leading role alongside the iconic Looney Tunes characters, and also features actor Don Cheadle, actresses Zendaya and Sonequa Martin-Green, as well as Lakers teammate Anthony Davis, Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard, among other NBA players.
In the trailer, James teams up with the likes of Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny, Tasmanian Devil and other Looney Tunes characters in a high-stakes basketball game to save his son from a simulation cartoon world. In addition to the Looney Tunes characters, there will be a plethora of blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameos throughout the film from iconic characters across different Warner Brothers properties.
The film is helmed by Girls Trip director Malcom D. Lee and James serves as an executive producer alongside his longtime business partner Maverick Carter. Black Panther director Ryan Coogler also has a producer credit on the film.
