King Von’s Sister Seemingly Calls Out Asian Doll: “Ain’t No Queen Von”

There appears to be some tension between Asian Doll and her ex-boyfriend King Von’s sister. Since the rapper’s passing, Asian Doll has been remembering King Von with dozens of posts on social media, rewinding through her memories and sharing them with the world. She’s even gone so far as to refer to herself as “Queen Von,” which appears to be rubbing his family the wrong way.

After Von’s sister, Kayla, confirmed that the rapper got another woman pregnant before his passing, Asian Doll spoke out on Twitter and said that she will still always love him. Something she said in her response appears to have ticked off Kayla because she got back on Twitter and entered attack mode, seemingly dissing Asian with a heated rant.

“Wow you bitches really be cap on this internet,” said Kayla in one of her tweets. “Ain’t no queen Von [laughing emoji] because Von was single… Bitches live a whole fuckin lie & messy af hiding they hand!”

Kayla went on to suggest that her brother moved to a new house in Atlanta because he didn’t trust Asian Doll, allegedly refusing to give her his address. She also said Asian was lying about giving Von’s mother and kids money, claiming she hasn’t sent a dollar. “Fake and using him & his name 2 look good,” she said.

Asian Doll hasn’t addressed Kayla’s comments. Swipe through the posts below to see what was said.

Quando Rondo Airs Out His Feelings On “S2”

Quando Rondo is keeping things in motion with new releases on what feels like a weekly basis. The rapper’s reputation took a hit last year following the murder of King Von which his affiliate Lul Tim is accused of committing. Still, Rondo hasn’t taken a step back or slowed down his scheduled releases.

This week, the rapper returned with his latest offering, “S2.” On his new single, Quando Rondo takes an honest look at the relationships in his life and the loyalty of those around him, whether his girlfriend or his circle of friends. Switching between pain-induced melodies and sharp flows, the rapper takes on the soulful trap production with vulnerability and resilience.

Peep the latest offering from Quando Rondo below and keep your eyes peeled for more new music.

This shit I’m spittin’ way too gangsta, they still don’t understand
Financially, shawty, I’m straight, but still not meant to last
I live the Soulja life mentality, men on my head, I know they after me

Kendrick Lamar Festival Appearance Sparks New Music Rumors

When Kendrick Lamar released his last studio album, the world was a completely different place. Lil Baby hadn’t released much of anything at that point. Nobody knew who Roddy Ricch was. And Megan Thee Stallion was only known for being a star student, and not a superstar rapper. It’s been nearly five years since the last time the Pulitzer Prize winner dropped an album, and his fans have let him hear about that for a minute.

This week, it was announced that Kendrick Lamar had booked a festival spot at Day N Vegas later this year. Despite the fact that the billing specifies his headline gig as a performance that will range from Section.80 to DAMN., some fans are still expecting some sort of new music debut before the show in November.

The Compton rapper started trending directly following the announcement with fans speculating on what to expect from his main-stage performance. Some are frustrated that he’s headlining without having any new music out — do you realistically see Kendrick Lamar not getting a headline gig though? Others think that this will either be part of an album rollout or will kick off the road to new music at the end of this year.

See below what people are saying and let us know if you’re looking forward to his performance in Las Vegas.

Dave East Is Back On His Bully On “They Gotta Hate Us”

Dave East might have one studio album to his name but it was his mixtape work that got him known and the attention of Nas. His recent output has been a reflection of his mixtape run. Each track and freestyle has been a promising look into what he has up next.

On Tuesday, the rapper returned with a brand new drop filled with the swagger of Harlem. The production on his new track, “They Gotta Hate Us” is reminiscent of the electrifying sounds Dipset brought to the table in the early 2000s. East is effortlessly weaving through the production as he reflects on his days hustling and his newfound status as both a successful rapper and actor.

The new release from Dave East comes announced his new album, HOFFA, produced by Harry Fraud and curated by Westside Gunn.

Kevin Hart Fires Back At People Who Say He Isn’t Funny

Kevin Hart’s faced the impacts of cancel culture to a certain degree but never enough to knock him from the top. So, when he railed against it in a recent interview with the Sunday Times, many of those who’ve attempted to cancel him in the past were, once again, back on his neck.

I personally don’t give a s— about it,” he admitted in the interview. “If somebody has done something truly damaging then, absolutely, a consequence should be attached. But when you just talk about … nonsense?… When you’re talking, ‘Someone said! They need to be taken [down]!’ Shut the f— up! What are you talking about?”

As the comedian faced heat on social media, he returned to the fold on Twitter where he doubled down on his comments while flaunting his list of achievements.

“The ‘He’s not funny’ slander is the best….this is for you. I have 3 stand-up comedy specials that fall in the top 10 highest-grossing comedy specials of all time….2 of my specials are in the top 3 of all time,” he tweeted. “I have been the highest-grossing comedian in entertainment for years now…I have also been the highest-grossing comedian in the box office with over 4 billion in earnings,” he continued.

As he continued to shrug off the criticism, saying that the ‘hate/slander fuels’ him, the comedian told people to ‘read the actual articles’ instead of a headline. To close things out, he offered a quote from J. Cole.

“J Cole said it best ‘If ur laughing at a millionaire the jokes on YOU’ …..Now back to ur regularly scheduled program. Live love and laugh,” he wrote.

NBA Youngboy Prosecutors Fight His Release: Report

The latest update pertaining to rapper Youngboy Never Broke Again’s federal gun possession charges isn’t looking very promising for fans of the 21-year-old recording artist. According to reports by AllHipHop, the rapper could remain locked up until his trial. Legal documents suggest that federal prosecutors in Youngboy’s case are deeming him a threat and requesting that he stay in jail until his trial.

Because of his criminal history, prosecutors are looking to fight the motion filed by Youngboy’s lawyers to have him released on house arrest.

Mr. Gaulden has a history of violence and a history of using firearms,” it says in the docs. “We believe that he poses a danger to the community regardless of any conditions the Court would set.

While he does have financial resources, he attempted to flee in this instant case to avoid arrest, and we have genuine concerns that he would be willing to travel back to Louisiana to face the charges that he is facing here.”

The rapper’s attorney Andrew Flier responded that his client isn’t a flight risk, arguing, “He will… comply with any terms and conditions. I spoke to him about that. I just think that, when you have someone that is in the rap entertainment business, that doesn’t mean he gets a pass for anything. Of course not. But when you have someone that’s in that industry — the reason why I bring it up, he is very well-known. He’s not going to go anywhere. That’s what he does. He makes music, he makes music videos, and he’s very successful. He’s not going to leave the United States. He will comply with any term and condition.”

This news comes following reports that authorities referred to the rapper’s takedown mission as “Never Free Again.” You can read that troubling report here.

Hopefully, Youngboy comes home soon. We’ll keep you posted on any further updates in his case.

Nintendo’s “Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2” Trailer Arrives

In a year that has already proven to be a big one for gamers, Nintendo has officially come through to issue a power move. During their currently ongoing E3 showcase, Nintendo has officially unveiled a new trailer for the long-anticipated The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2. To make this even more exciting, the trailer actually features gameplay, showcasing a brief but tantalizing glimpse of the adventure to come.

Set to be released in 2022 on the Nintendo Switch, Breath Of The Wild 2’s gameplay trailer showcases the familiar Hyrule landscape, a sight that Zelda fans have long grown accustomed to.

However, this time around it would appear that Link’s journey will take him high into the sky, which Nintendo teases will be “explorable.” Based on some interesting gliding and skydiving mechanics on display throughout the trailer, it looks like Link has picked up a few tricks; as per Zelda tradition, expect plenty of puzzles built around these new abilities. Alas, it doesn’t provide much in the way of larger plot details, though a foreboding final shot of a suspended Hyrule Castle speaks to no shortage of ominous possibilities.

With Nintendo officially confirming that “development has been steadily progressing,” look for Breath Of The Wild to hold true to its intended 2022 release window. At this stage, it’s looking like next year will be an absolutely monumental one for gamers, with heavyweight titles like this, Elden Ring, God Of War, and more queued up on the docket.

Check out the full gameplay trailer for the upcoming Zelda title below, and sound off if you’re excited to pick this one up.
