Troy Ave apparently thinks he’s like Jay-Z, at least from an Instagram post that he published talking about his court testimony. Moreover, he testified today (March 13) in Taxstone’s murder case, in which the latter stands accused of murdering Ave’s bodyguard Ronald “Banga” McPhatter. Furthermore, he posted a picture of Hov on the witness stand during his 2021 Parlux Fragrances lawsuit and included his classic The Blueprint cut “U Don’t Know.” Afterwards, he shared a message in the caption honoring his fallen friend and spoke of his long journey to get to this point.

Then, he continued in the caption itself. “To all my real ones that been riding with & for Me, today is the day I finally get to clear my name. It’s been almost 7 years since I lost one of my closest friends #RIPBANGA, 7 years of a narrative about it being my fault, 7 years of my character being assassinated all the while Trying to defend myself without saying much!
